The doors were finally delivered on May 7, 2013 - the doors were (unfinished, raw) white with brown trim, not the dark brown paint & trim we had ordered. The doors were also damaged. While it was clear that it was not the doors we ordered & the damage was obvious - they installed the doors anyway & not only removed our old doors, but destroyed them! Instead of replacing the damaged wrong doors, they offered to paint them. These are $1500 garage doors -- ordered with the paint baked on, having a painter come put a coat of paint on them is not acceptable. No, absolutely no concessions offered to us as the customer! When I delivered the news to the owner that we would not accept these doors, the owner, Winifred Campbell, ignored me, answered a phone call while I was speaking mid-sentence, and ultimately became verbally abusive...insulting me and questioning my integrity. I am a customer & a woman...he is a man & owner of the business. This man treated me worse than I had ever been treated by anyone! After constant frustration & several letters to this owner from my husband, we finally had a new set of doors, in the correct colors, delivered to our home - however, after installing the first door, the installer & I noticed that the doors had been painted & stacked before the paint could dry -- the paint was peeling off all over the doors. The installer refused to hang the other door. We waited another 6 weeks (with 2 different color garage doors) for yet another set of doors to be delivered. The final installation came 5 1/2 months (and a lot of headache) after our original order. I understand that things go wrong with orders at times - however, the treatment I received from the owner of this business is more than unacceptable - it was awful. And no apology whatsoever!
