Google5Chris from Veterans Garage Doors called before he came and was done in under an hour. He was very polite and professional. I will recommend them to all my friends. I have used them twice and both times the experience was awesome.

Google5We needed the springs fixed on our garage doors. The first time Chris came out, he didn't have the right springs and had the order them. He temporarily fixed my garage door to work at no charge until the new springs came in. After springs came in, he came out right. Very kind and respectful with great prices.

Google5Went to get oil changed in car saw the truck there as well. While we both waited spoke to Colt about fixing my door. He came out promptly and fixed our problem. He also fixed a few things we didn't quiet realize was wrong. Highly recommend. I will def save the info for them.

Google5Crew was very respectable, and knew exactly what needed to be done. Would highly recommend these guys to install your doors no questions when applying my military discount either. Can't wait to have them back to do my second door. CW

Google1One of the older guys that works there with a white beard and hair is an immature prick. Youre going to make fun of strangers while youre at work? Completely unprofessional and shows who this company is willing to hire. If you want grown men that act like highschoolers doing your garage doors this is the place to call.

Google5Had a Garage Door spring break last night. Called Veterans Garage Door at 8am, The lady was Super Nice and got me on the schedule for Noon. At 10:30 one of the Tech's (Chris) called and said he could be there if I'd be Ok (Of course it was), He arrived 10 minutes later (+/-) and replaced the springs. Overall a great experience from Start to Finish.

Yelp1In 2014 they installed my building doors, which one door, overnight fell off the runner. They have been back a couple times since then and have made the excuse of "it's within tolerances. Last Apr a rep came out and put the door on track again which left a gap and one corner, that was not there prior to. I set up another appointment for 0800 that they were 1 1/2 hours late for with no notification, when the rep arrived he was rude and very condescending. Making up excuses for everything, even asking if the concrete was level. Finally telling me it was 4 days over warranty and that I had to pay the additional 124.00 lube service for the door that wasn't requested. At that point I told them to leave, one individual started walking to the truck, the other did not. He stood under the door I was trying to roll down as in a challenge, I guess. I then stated; If you don't want to get hit by the door, I recommend you move. I had to tell them twice to leave before they did. He slowly backed up and they got in their truck and hastily backed out my drive. I then called the company and asked to speak to the manager, the lady that answered the call said when he got off another call, she would have him call me back--which he has never returned my call. Most of the reviews on this company are pretty good--maybe I got one of their guys on a bad day. In accordance with Texas Penal Code 30.05 this could have turned out different with criminal trespass, especially after I told them a couple times to leave and they refused. Coming from a 28 year veteran, I would expect more from a company with Veteran in the actual name... By no means am I bashing this company, but in my experiences with them--they have all been (Not so Good). FYI--office staff have been extremely nice, Manager--haven't spoken with him yet because he hasn't returned my call.

Google5Just had a wonderful experience. Kirk called me within a couple of hours of me sending an email. They were able to get a tech out almost immediately. The guy who came was so polite and friendly. He did a great job of explaining the whos its and whats its. I was having issues with my wiring and sensor alignment. He fixed the problem and then also balanced the door. It is opening and closing so much more smoothly and quietly. Wonderful wonderful experience.

Yelp5Stopped a service truck on my street and asked them to take a look at a problem left by my builder and a different company. My garage door wall unit has not worked since day 1. Took these guys less than 10 mins to fix it and do a whole host of other things that I didn't ask for but needed. Nothing but professionalism and dedication to making sure the job was done properly. Hats off to VGD, don't hesitate to have a veteran owned company take care of you.

Yelp5We needed 2 garage doors moved. After careful consideration we decided to use Veterans Garage door company. They were prompt about sending someone out to give us a Free estimate. We scheduled an appointment, and had minor setbacks . The day of the appointment Veterans Garage door sent 2 guys out to move our garage doors to the location we needed them moved to. The workers were very polite and professional. We had an issue with doors fitting in the beginning but the workers never complained. They handled the task and did it like champs! If you have no idea, folks it is definitely worth every penny to have these guys come out! We appreciate it!!!

Yelp5I called them and asked them to come give me an estimate on my garage door. I couldn't close or open the door. He explained to me over the phone how to fix the issue. Garage door now works, they made no money giving me the knowledge to fix my door but they are getting a 5star review for integrity and customer service.

Yelp5We are impressed with how quickly they installed our new garage door. It works perfectly, and is so quiet we can barely hear it raising and lowering. The cost was also well below what we were expecting. Wish we had called them earlier.

Yelp1Do not deal with this company in any manner. Their customer service is terrible and when you have finally had enough of their run around tactics and ask for your money back the owner will just scream at you and say you can't have your money back. They will tell you they will check on things and call you back and it will never happen. Run don't walk to any other garage door company besides Veterans..
