Called Overhead Door Company of Akron with an emergency where my spring was broken and door stuck down with both cars in it. Nate and Mel arrived and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. It was about 90 minutes from when I called the office until the door was fixed and operating. I was very impressed with this entire experience. The price also beat what I was quoted when a few places that I had left voice mails for, while in a panic to get this fixed, called me back after they were already here. Would highly recommend using these guys when you need any work on your garage door.
Nate and Brian did an outstanding job for us. They were punctual, courteous and very knowledgeable. They tried to fix our existing garage door opener before just saying we needed a new one. The installation was done professionally and they went above and beyond to program our remotes. Overall a pleasant experience!

Renewed my faith in service companies! My remote-operated garage door would not open and there is no man door to get inside. I called around- one company told me they would probably have to break my door to get in, another tried to immediately sell me a new door. I called Overhead per a recommendation from a family member and I'm so glad I did! I was assured they'd try and fix it before any drastic measures. They came on time and called before. Opened and fixed the spring within an hour, maybe less. Absolutely reasonable price and the Tech was polite and efficient! Could not be happier- so refreshing to get quality, honest service.
CHARGES ARE EXCESSIVE FOR THE TIME/EFFORT DONE FOR REPAIRS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

The estimator came on time, a few days after I set up an appointment, explained everything to my satisfaction. He gave a fair price for a new door (with blown-in polyurethane insulation) and ALL new hardware.) He also sent a door tech 4 business days days later to temporarily fix the spring (for free) so i could use the door and opener while I waited 3 weeks for my door to come in (I wanted a very specific, unpopular one.) The tech arrived on time (I was the first stop of the day) and installed the door. The wire for one of the opener safety sensors had been chewed up by an animal some years before, so the wire broke off during the change-over of hardware (totally understandable.) He said he was required to replace it before hooking up the door to my opener. But he came back the next morning to do so. I thought he was going to replace the wire all the way to the opener, but he only spliced the new sensor in. If I had known that he wasn't going to replace the whole wire, I would have replaced the sensor myself and saved $24. Overall, I'm happy, because I paid a fair price for the quality and R-value of door, and the service they provided. Overhead Door of Akron receives bonus points for fixing the spring at no charge so I could open the door while I waited for the replacement. Services Rendered: I replaced the garage door. One of my torsion springs broke, so I couldn't open the door. The tracks had been deformed over the past few years, so the rollers would come out, the door opening/closing was pretty noisy, and one of the panels was starting to rot through. I had replaced my opener about 10 years prior, so it did not need to be replaced.
I guess they were good. The guy knew what he was doing and went right to it. I will call him again if I need more work done. The guy was good all the way around. Services Rendered: They worked on my overhead door.
There isn't much explanation until I asked. They made sure it was working before they left. They cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to others.
Very well. We needed a quality, insulated garage door installed while we were out of town and we negotiated with Overhead Door over the phone. They described what they would do and when we returned home the new garage door was in place just as agreed. We are very satisfied with their service.
