Installation of a new garage door was completed with ease. From the very beginning, Tamara was very helpful with setting up an estimate the same day. Tim arrived and provided alot of knowledge and a quote on the spot. During installation, Zack and Hunter were very professional and hard workers. The job was completed timely and exceeded expectations. Murphy Overhead doors displayed tons of knowledge and professionalism. It shows that customer service is valued. We will use Murphy's for all our future garage door needs and are happy to share our great experience with others.

Fast service! Called on a Wednesday afternoon for service and they were able to send someone out as early as Thursday morning. Had a technician, Hunter come out the next day and he installed a new system in about 2 hours and took the time to show me how to set up PIN code and WiFi. Would definitely recommend company and technician again.

Murphy Overhead Doors was very responsive in repairing our old (probably 60+ yo) garage door in years past. They were very helpful in discussing a new garage door with opener, providing the estimate, and then in installing it at our convenience. Our house is older and the garage is tighter to work in than those in newer houses so installation required some finesse. The new garage door and opener are working great.

From start to finish, the service was impeccable and professional. I highly recommend Murphy Overhead Doors to anyone who is seeking a garage door replacement. Cindy answered all our questions so well that we signed right at the initial consultation. We had our replacement scheduled within 2 weeks. Bob and Hunter showed up exactly when expected and removed the old doors (original to the house build) and had our new doors functioning 6 hours later! We could not ask for a better experience!

We recently had a new garage door opener installed by Murphy Overhead Doors. When I initially called, Tamara answered all of my questions about the openers they offered outlining the features of the different models. We then setup a time for our opener to be installed. Our installer Zack arrived when promised and was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. After the installation he thoroughly explained all the features of the new opener. I had used Murphy in the past for minor repairs and had good results at a reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to recommend Murphy for anything garage door related.

From beginning to end, the installation of a new garage door and opener has been excellent! Cindy, was very fast to respond to our request for an estimate and got us moving right along. They were never pushy or pressuring us to make decisions like we sadly experienced with other outfits. When the time finally came, our installer Hunter was absolutely outstanding. He was very quick and efficient. The work is immaculate and he explained everything very clearly for us on operation of the opener and the features. The door itself is absolutely excellent quality and looks great. Very high quality materials, and very well insulated for those cold winters we get. The opener is super quiet, fast, and has all the bells and whistles you can imagine. Thank you to all the staff at Murphy for taking care of us!

Called Murphy's at 4 pm Tuesday because my cable snapped on my garage door. Needed a new opener too. They were able to come the next day and fix everything Bob came and did an excellent job!! He was so nice and made sure I understood how to use my opener and how to get the ap. He programmed my new keypad for me as well as the 2 opener buttons. Left me a brochure of garage doors, which I desperately need!! That's for next year But I was so pleased with Bob and his friendly personality. I would highly recommend Murphy's to anyone!!

From sales to installation we could not be happier. Cindy and Zack were extremely courteous and professional which is so hard to find post pandemic! The added touches, confirming inventory, stickers for easy access for important phone numbers, clean up and removal made every penny worth it! I will totally recommend this business to everyone I know. The big plus, they did not hesitate to come. We live pretty far from their business and they did not hesitate!

We needed a total door and power opener replacement. I called Tuesday and talked to Cindy. She scheduled our work for today. This morning Bob arrived right on time. Installed everything perfectly. Double checked to be sure everything worked perfectly. Cleaned up... hauled away our old door and opener ... IF YOU HAVE A GARAGE DOOR NEED... MURPHY IS THE BEST ...NO THE ONLY CHOICE !!!

The spring on our garage door broke over the weekend, and we were planning to replace the garage door and opener anyway so we called Murphy's. I called on Monday around 11am, by 1pm we had a tech at our house who was very knowledgeable and we picked out a replacement door and opener. We scheduled the install for the following Monday but then received a call that they could install on Thursday. Within 4 days we had a new garage door and opener. There was a slight mis-communication on the window inserts we choose and when the installer was here he contacted the office and they had the right inserts brought over and installed. I would highly recommend Murphy Overhead Door. The staff was friendly and you can't beat the prompt service.

I highly recommend Murphy's overhead door for any garage door work around the Capital District. I needed a new garage door opener unit. After browsing Murphy's overhead door website I decided to stop in early in the morning to take a look at the products they offer. Cindy took us to their product display and went over the door opener product line and features. She was very knowledgeable, completely answering my questions, with no pressure to buy. The price she quoted including installation and taxes was lower than I had anticipated. The unit had all the features I was looking for and surprisingly included wifi with app door controls! I was scheduled for the next afternoon. Bob called early in the scheduled time frame to let me know we would be arriving in about a half hour. Bob was been absolutely wonderful. He was extremely skilled, professional, knowledgeable and the work was done to perfection. The unit came with two remotes, a keyless entry pad, and one wired button. We had two wired buttons on our existing setup. Bob added the extra wired button with no extra cost! Bob was immaculate in keeping the work area clean, going so far as to putting paper towels under the end rails to prevent any lubricant from seeping to floor! The process was completely stress free. As I stated above, I highly recommend this company for any of your garage door needs.

I would give 10 stars if possible. My husband's car was trapped in the garage and we were approaching the weekend with a Monday holiday and a time when we both needed our respective cars for work travel. I found Murphy's on Google and called at 245 on a Friday and they were so kind and helpful - even when I was quite flustered with our situation. They had someone out to our house within 20 minutes to fix the broken door and he did great work. I cannot not recommend them enough!

I broke my garage door (busted POS anyway) on the Friday we were leaving for vacation. I called Monday morning when we got back and they had the tech out same day! He was very personable and explained that my door was not worth repairing (which I knew) and went over all the options for me. My old door never had an auto opener so I was determined to get one this time and hoping not to pay a fortune for it. The tech was able to find the door I wanted AND the opener for under $1400!! (I have a small garage). AND to top it off he had me scheduled for the next day! The installer was equally nice and explained everything to me along the way. I know other reviews have said the phone staff was rude but I did not find that to be the case... I talked to a female a few times as the installer had to come back to put in a part to make my uneven garage work better w/ the door and each time she was very nice. I usually call several places and get all kinds of estimates but these guys were so nice and easy to work with I didn't bother. I'd give more stars if I could. Very VERY happy with my new door!

Murphy Overhead Door replaced our ancient heavy huge garage door. They provided a fair price, they came when they said they would, they installed it perfectly and cleaned up every bit of debris from the old door and materials used for the installation. Replaced broken spring with brand new spring. 33" 250 1-3/4 RHW. Job was done within 20 mins. Price: $65 for one spring (remember was $35 , 8 years ago) $144.75 for labor, lube, adjust (20 mins) Paid cash = $227 tax included Services Rendered: Replaced one broken spring

Badly. Their technician came and did the job, and didn't bother to tell me until after he was that the spring was in danger of breaking (would it have hurt to tell me before the job: "I just want to warn you -- this is an old spring, and if I touch it, it might break.") Indeed, it broke a few days later. They agreed to give me a credit of $50 for the $100 job they did toward the cost of a new spring. A reasonable accommodation, I thought -- it was their work that caused the spring to break, but in fairness it was an old spring. However, the price they gave me for a new spring was more than $500 -- I wound up having it done for half that through another company. Their technician's surly attitude throughout his work didn't win any points with me, either. There are local companies out there that are both cheaper and nicer. Services Rendered: Adjust spring

Great! The ordering process was quick and easy. We chose a custom color, so there was a few week lead time. The installer showed up on time as scheduled and the result seems excellent.
