I placed an order in September for a garage door, was told 5-6 weeks, . it has been 7 weeks and no one called me to tell me there was any kind of delay. When I called and asked to speak to someone to get an explanation for the delay they canceled my order.

Hopefully this is read. Wanna say Overhead door employee Bernie, came to my home and fixed my door in a mere 25 min, start to finish. Had Precision door Co. at my home, the same day. They wanted to install new parts and motor..." which I definitely didn't need "...for about $550. Bernie got the job done for $170. Thank you. J. Clifton Park, NY.

Quick call back to set up an appointment. Technician came out, got my door fixed up within an hour and did a few extras to help preserve my 23+ year old garage door system. Very reasonable price (although I was prepared for really bad news given the age of my system!). Plan to call again when the whole thing finally bites the dust.

Great service! Highly recommend this company. They were really considerate. Joy gave me a call when they had a customer that canceled their appointment. Bernie arrived on time. He's extremely professional. He explained to me what the issue was and recommended replacing a component instead of the whole opener unit. The fix was quick and smooth. Bernie then made all the necessary adjustments and showed me how to maintain the garage door on my own. I can't thank them enough for the timely and top-notch service. And no up selling! Give them a call if you need garage door related products or services.

I had a great experience with this company. EVERYONE I had dealt with was extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all, the skilled technicians pride themselves in quality workmanship. My job required a few visits prior to completion, but only because they weren't satisfied until everything was absolutely correct. Awesome people to deal with. We live 40 miles west of Albany and they were willing to come (hard to find someone who will). They prioritize repairs as highly as new installs. Definitely know what they are doing. Repaired in less than 30 minutes. Excellent work with one year guarantee!

What a waste of time. Called to start process. Salesperson set up an install date. Took afternoon off to meet installer. Gets here and doesn't have parts for the right size doors. Then says warranty will be voided if he plugs into an extension cord. "well most of the time there's power right there". What a crap assumption. This business needs to train their sales people and actually send someone for a site visit. Cancelled the install.

Love my new garage door!!! Jim Lavelle was easy to work with and very personable. Kyler and Kirk did a great job installing the door. Very professional Company. It took about two weeks instead of three for the door to come in so it was installed earlier than expected. Price is a little on high side but the door is high quality. Actually not too much more than Lowes but I got exactly what I wanted. One year full guarantee and lifetime guarantee on rust.

Poor customer service & no service after installation, not good business. They were very nice when ordering the door, then installed it. Approx. 1 month later when I called them to service it for making some squeaky noises and requested them to look at it, they said there was a list for service. When I called back 2 weeks after then 4 weeks after to inquire if I was still on the list and to get the service scheduled, the lady was not happy and said each time "I told you your name is on the list and I will call you when we will schedule this service". It's been 10 months now, and they have never called me back. I called Empire Overhead Doors the guy came within 3 business days and serviced it for me. He was wonderful and I will only call Empire Overhead Doors for now on. Diane V.

it took 4 months for them to come out and replace gasketing on our doors and after it was completed the doors would not close properly impossible to get them to return a call and correct their shoddy workmanship VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Overhead Door people put a new opener...then said further door damage call for more repairs. Door section [which they installed and which had "lifetime warranty"] was also rusted. Had a major malfunction with garage door opener on Thursday night. Unit started smoking and wouldn't work anymore. Overhead Door showed up at noon the next day and had everything back running MUCH better than before in just a 1 hour service call by 1pm the next day on Friday! They didn't try to upsell a full garage door opener replacement, they just had to swap out a few parts on my existing unit. They had the parts in stock in their truck. Much more concerning was the frayed cables they discovered during the repair that were making the door hang lower on one side and about to snap!! They fixed everything in 1 hour flat! Incredible guys. Definitely punctual, honest, competent, and friendly team. This goes for the guys answering the phones to the guys on the truck roll. Everything is working much better than before the problem - extremely happy. THANKS VERY MUCH!!! I had a very pleasant experience visiting the showroom in Clifton Park. The sales manager was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. There was no hard sell or efforts to push more expensive products. Differences between different doors was explained thoroughly and samples shown. A detailed written estimate was provided and they insisted on coming to the house to measure the door, even though I thought it was a standard size. Once we agreed to proceed, an appointment was scheduled within two weeks and they arrived promptly. The door was installed, all old door parts removed and the site left neat and clean. The door looks nice. The house looks much better from the street and the whole experience was positive. Services Rendered: We had a new overhead double garage door installed, including new rollers, tracks and springs.
