No stars if I could. Garage door was damaged on a Saturday morning. Called Precision wanting to get the door closed and a quote to replace. Came quickly, professional and nice, said he could not get it down (knew I was concerned with safety and critters), gave quote somewhere between $2,200 and $2,700 (don't recall exactly) to replace just the door. Given price, waited until Monday and called another local company. The other company came out quickly, had damaged door closed in about two minutes and in a day or two replaced the door and opener for hundreds less than Precision quote to replace just the door. Neighbor had similar experience and also went with the alternate, much lower priced company. We both got very good quality insulated doors.
My impression is that Precision will take advantage of folks in a difficult situation - likely part of the reason for their extended availability - get your money before you can check with someone else, over repair/overcharge because they know your choice is to live with the issue for a day or two to get competitive bids or have them deal with it for what you do not yet know is an inflated repair/price. If you have money to waste and a day or two is more important than your money, then Precisions is the company for you. Just my opinion based on the two situations I am aware of in our neighborhood.
