Update: I centered the chain guide bar, which was 3 inches off. I also reprogrammed the opener so it would close at the right spot. I decided to do it myself because I have a tight schedule. I do appreciate the response from the Manager.
We had a opener installed in October 2019, right before we moved in. No one explained anything about how to lubricate or take care of it to anyone...when I got home from work, I was not impressed with the installation as the chain was never adjusted and is very loose. The chain guide/bar is far from the center of the door. The opener is supposed to be top of the line, but is very very noisy..the other opener on the other garage door is 20+ years old and is much quieter. Also, they didn't install any light bulbs, because "they don't come with the opener." I am not impressed. I could have done a better installation job, if I had the time. Now, 2 years later, looks like I'll just do the readjustments myself and see if that might help with the loudness of the opener. Its hard to find good workers and decent service now days. I'm just tired of poor workmanship and wasting my time contacting businesses to correct poor quality installations. If you want it done right, you just need to do it yourself or if you see a review of good work done by a named installer, specifically request that installer. Don't just settle for the first opening available.
