Wow! Great service! They showed up less than 24 hours from the time I called and replaced the broken cable on our garage door. They also inspected the other door and openers. This was all done timely and at a fair price.

Had a garage door spring break. I called and was given a straight quote over the phone. Our technician arrived in the window that was given and was thorough and polite. We would definitely use Garage Door Specialists again and recommend them to others looking for services.

Originally receive a quote for $1,000-$4,000 more from a DIFFERENT garage door service provider and was also being pressured into pre-approval and into taking their service. Called Garage Door Specialists for a second opinion and worked with Brad. Super smooth process, great work by their technicians. Brad worked with my wife and I when we wanted to look into several door options after originally putting in an order already. Great customer service and high value for the price you pay.

I was elated Garage Door Specialist service. Showed up on time, notified me when he was arriving, and came with a smile. The repair was quick, made a few adjustments to the door so it would move up & down smoothly. Plus adjusted the door to completely go down to the garage floor. Something it didn't do when we bought the place 5 years ago. I'm glad the installer placed a Garage Door Specialist label next to the door when it was installed so I knew who to call. It stopped working Christmas Eve. Not exactly great timing with kids & grandkids over. I'd recommend Garage Door Specialist any day of the week. Quick response, friendly installer, professional service.

I had a new garage door & opener installed about 6 months ago from Garage Door Specialists & the door looks great! I recently had and issue with the garage door not closing all the way down. They fixed the problem in a fast, efficient and thorough manner and Troy (owner) waved the charge. They definitely stand by their products & services. I highly recommend Garage Door Specialists!! I had a garage door that needed to be specially ordered do to size. The moment they got it they were here installing. Also they did all the trim around the garage. Looks better than the rest my house lol love it. Looks amazing. Very happy with the customer service and the techs were super friendly. Very reasonable with cost as well. Highly recommend.

Garage Door specialist did such an amazing job! Hearing from a good friend how amazing this company is we decided to choose them and it was the best choice. From coming and measuring to having a book to choose many beautiful options from. They come installed everything super hassle free! Receptionist very kind and got back to you right away. Prices were amazing compared to other companies around Fox Valley. The whole process was so easy and so fast. Very straight forward, detailed oriented and professional. Called because our garage door (over 20 years old) would only closed using the access button within the garage. The installer came out, took a look at the issue, diagnosed the problem after exhausting all the possible other issues that could be causing the door to malfunction (bad wiring, camera issue, motherboard problem, etc). In the end, we not only got an upgrade in our garage door opener, but also our wiring and lift for an extremely reasonable price. Good company with hard workers.

Our older garage door had come off its railing. their staff were friendly and understanding. Work crew show up when promised and resolved the problem. Unfortunately the existing door was damaged. While usable on a short-term basis a replacement was needed. The company provided a quick and reasonable estimate for a replacement. Overall, I am happy with their professionalism, timeliness, and quality of work. I would recommend highly.

I couldn't be happier. I had a very old opener which was working OK until the remote failed to open the door. (Yes, it had a new battery.) They came out and tried hard to find a substitute remote in order to save me some money. When that failed and I ordered a new opener, they scheduled me for the next morning, guy arrived on time, was courteous and respectful. Installed quickly and cleanly. Informed me how to use the features. Cleaned up everything. Nothing more I could ask for.

My garage door would close but keep trying to close even further, so it would open back up. I procrastinated for months until my daughter mentioned Garage Door Specialists. I called them and they were at my house within 45 minutes and had the whole thing fixed in 1/2 hour. They were friendly, courteous, fast and got the job done beautifully. This company installed a garage door in my new house. Less than a year later garage door cable unwound from the spring. A company repair person came back and serviced the door at their cost. Less than a year from time of that service the cable unwound from the spring again (second time). Company charged for this service. Considering the door had the same issue twice after being installed new (door is only one year and a couple months old) I would have expected the company to stand behind their work and make it right.

Our new home's garage door was purchased from and installed by Garage Door Specialists in July 2015. In December 2015, 6 months after install, the cable came off the roller twice in a week, so we contacted Garage Door Specialists who came to re-wind the cable on the roller. The cable came off the roller again late September 2016. We called Garage Door Specialists as they installed the door and repaired it last time. We thought since it was the same problem as it was last time, they would have just taken care of the repair. However, that was not the case. We were charged for the September service call. We do not feel it is acceptable for 2 service calls within the first 14 months of owning the garage door. When I contacted Garage Door Specialists to discuss the invoice we received, Jean was very rude and unprofessional. Jean would not listen to my questions or concerns and continually cut me off when speaking. The most recent time the cable came off the roller, I was leaving for work. Because the cable was wound up so bad, I could not even use the emergency pull to close the door. I called Garage Door Specialists approximately 10 minutes before they opened, hoping someone would be able to come and at least close the garage door, so I could get to work. I left a message on the emergency line and the call was not returned. I called again shortly after Garage Door Specialists opened and spoke with someone who said he would see if someone would be available to come look at the door. I then asked for them to call me back to let me know, so I wasn't waiting for something that wasn't going to happen. After waiting for 30 minutes without any contact from Garage Door Specialists, I called the office again. The person who answered the call didn't know anything about the situation, so I explained it all again. He put me on hold, and then transferred me to Jean. I began explaining that I was waiting for someone to come and at least close my garage door. Jean cut me off and very rudely told me they were getting ready and would be leaving shortly. I then received a call after waiting another 30 minutes from the tech telling me he was on his way and would be there shortly. They finally showed up after waiting over an hour and a half from the initial contact to fix the door. When the tech arrived I informed him we had a tech out in December 2015 for this same issue and they told us at that time if the cable came off the roller again the tracks may need to be adjusted. Before the tech even looked at the garage door he told me that would not be necessary. He seemed to be in a hurry the entire time he was here and wanting to get to his next job as soon as possible. I realize that would have been a lot of work, which is why I offered numerous times for the tech to just lower our garage door and truly fix it when their schedule allowed. Services Rendered: Garage Door Service - Cable came off Roller upon closing the door numerous times.

They responded within a couple of hours to my emergency request for service--a door that was stuck. They quickly found the source of the problem and inserted a replacement part. They were very prompt, courteous, and I definitely will use them again or recommend to others.
