I was surprised when he told me he could be out this afternoon, and as the afternoon wore on, he called to say he was held up but would be here about 3:30. He called to let me know when he was on his way, and replaced the springs and a roller for a very reasonable price. Then he even tacked up the rubber strip around the top of the door. Very nice fellow. Professional and neat. Now I remember why we had a note with the 2010 invoice that said, "this guy's great." I don't think I would ever call anyone else, and I have no reservations about recommending him. Services Rendered: We noticed one of our garage door springs was broken yesterday, and the garage door seemed to be straining, so I called D.F. this morning. He had done work for us in 2010, and we had good luck with him then.

We had just bought a house and wanted D.F. Door Service to come out and tune-up the door and evaluate the condition of the door and opener. Dave was able to come out within 2 hours and complete repairs and provide recommendations. If needed, we would use D.F. Door Service again. Services Rendered: Provider came to evaluate the condition of a garage door.

The job went well. David first tested the metal rollers, installed one nylon one that reduced the noise somewhat, then I authorized him to replace them all; he then found a piece of metal sticking out that was rubbing the frame of the door that was not visible from the inside of the garage; he removed that and the problem went away, and the door operates better and quieter than when it was new. Services Rendered: My garage door was making horrible noises as it went up and down. I had used DF to install a new opener and springs about a year ago, and he did a good job very reasonably. David said he would be there at 11:30 and he was right on the minute. He examined my door, replaced the metal rollers with nylon ones, and pulled a piece of metal that was sticking out causing the noise. The new nylon rollers have made the door very quiet and the operation of same is so much smoother.

One of my garage door springs broke, and a friend suggested not doing it myself. I called a couple of places. One was out of business, but I left messages at two other businesses. DF Door responded first, and he indicated he could come out the next day (I was worried about someone operating the door and causing further damage and/or injury). He came out the next day and suggested replacing both springs (expected). He not only replaced and adjusted the springs, but adjusted other parts of the door such that I have never heard it operate so smoothly before (we've lived here 5 years). Services Rendered: Replaced two garage door springs and made other adjustments.

This was a really pleasant service call. I called on a Saturday morning and told him my problem (car was stuck in the garage with a door that wouldn't open). He was at our house within the hour and did not charge any travel or emergency charge. He got the door opened, fixed the opener, which had a broken gear assembly, and he replaced the outside disconnect so I can get in my garage if it happens again. He also replaced a missing bolt on the door, installed an outside handle which had broken off, and tightened loose nuts and hinges and lubed everything, hinges, rollers, and springs. He gave me information on a replacement door for the future when he was done. It was a great service call. Services Rendered: My garage door opener on my detached garage stopped lifting our door. The owner came out on Saturday morning and got the door open, fixed the opener and did general maintenance on the door. The parts cost me $62 and the labor was $58. He worked almost two hours.

He was a young man. He came when he said he would. His price was right where, I thought it should be. Very courteous and professional. I would recommend him anytime. Services Rendered: He replaced the garage door motor and all components for the inside of the garage door.
