Mr. Hobbs came on July 4th (a holiday) and completed the job on a timely manner. Price was best in area for insulated door and I would recommend him for anyone needing this service. Services Rendered: Replaced my garage door, including rails, tension rod, pulleys, and outside trimming for seal.

Mr. Hobbs arrived on time, prepared to install the LiftMaster 8355 1/2 HP Belt Drive with 8 ft rail automatic garage door opener. He was very pleasant to deal with, efficient, and professional. He also installed an opener pad on the wall (I don't know what it's called?) and supplied us with two new garage door openers, that will serve our other two doors. The new opener is much, much quieter than the original Over Head Door system on our other two doors. We plan to change the other two out in the future. Very timely, very responsive. Called at 4pm on 9/4 and he arrived at the agreed time of 9:30am on 9/5. reinforced the door skin with angle iron and attached the angle iron to the hinge. Services Rendered: Hobbs repaired the hinge which had torn away from the metal skin of the door.

I contacted Hobbs Door Service on Friday 8/22/2014 and described the problem. We made an appointment for 9:15 AM 8/23/2014. He was prompt with materials to repair the problem as described; I was late. My mom had described a problem with the other door which was repaired before I arrived 5 mins later (safety laser was out of alignment; no charge). He replaced a pulley that was causing the problem at no charge. He answered all my questions without hesitation, and I would use him again without hesitation. Services Rendered: Repair garage door that was installed 1995 without a brace and the metal had begun to tear where the leader attached at top center. He quoted an approximate cost over the phone and stuck to that price even though he did additional work.

I no longer operate my construction company but in late 2011, I had Hobbs Door Service supply and install 5 overhead doors for a new commercial building that I built for my own use. The doors have worked flawlessly for over 2 years. Recently, there were several small handles that had cracked from daily use, and I called Milton and told him I wanted to purchase a few replacement handles. He insisted that I allow him to come by and replace them for me. To have the owner of a business come by personally to replace a small broken part over 2 years after the install, really speaks volumes of their commitment to customer service! If you need a new overhead door or just need your old one serviced, I strongly recommend that you call this company! Services Rendered: As a residential home builder, I used Hobbs Door Service exclusively to install overhead doors in all of the homes I built. Mr. Hobbs was always punctual, did an excellent job on the install and cleaned up behind himself. If only all sub-contractors were like him, it would make my job much easier!

Our Garage door of 15 years had started tearing in several panel and collapsing in the middle, we contacted Hobbs Door Service and explain that we need a new Garage door. We gave him the measurement of the door so he could order it right away, He explain the different types doors available and the colors, so we order the double car garage door with the best insulation in Almond. Mr Hobbs beat everyone we contacted with the best price and the quickest delivery available by 3 days. He kept constant contact during the process of letting me know that the order was placed, also when they ship the door and when it was expected to arrive at his shop. As soon as it arrived at his shop, he phoned and set the appointment for the next morning. Mr Hobbs was on time the next morning and started immediately disassembling the old door and the railing, then loading them on his truck for to haul away. He install the new door, rails and torsion spring, checked and double checked the function of the door with the garage door opener. This is the quietest door we have ever had, he explain that the garage door opener I had, I could operated all of it function over the internet and I could check and see if I left the door open and how long its been open and I could close it with my smart phone anywhere I had service. He also the internet gateway for garage door opener at a very good price. He is the best with excellent customer service which is hard to found these days. Again Thank you, Mr Hobbs. Services Rendered: Remove and replace the original Garage door.
