It was Saturday afternoon when a tenant sent pictures of a garage door with a problem, it would not close, hanging at an angle. Chris worked our door once leaving a sticker with the phone number. I called, the greeting said send a text, I did. The response said I'll be there in an hour! He called the tenant with an arrival time. After examining the issue I had a quote. Garage door is repaired, the HOA will not compain about the garage being open. This was an easy repair transaction! Thanks Chris!

Ok. So a GREAT surprise from the owner of the company. He saw my review and instead of getting insulted, he contacted me and offered to make it right. That I will say, speaks volumes of what kind of company you're dealing with. There had been a couple of misunderstandings that had led to me being stood up twice. It was an anomaly and I believe him. He STILL took full ownership and that was pretty cool. He then stopped by my house after hours that same day, diagnosed the problem I have with my garage opener and came up with a rational solution. Just 3 days later he came back and swapped out my entire garage door opener and had it back up running smoothly again. Wow, what a turn-around that was. It's easy to get folks to come by when there's guaranteed money on the table, but for a company to do follow-ups and show acts of good-will, THAT is a rare thing today. We were able to talk it out and joke about everything and we're 100% good as of now. This IS a fantastic company and they DO stand by their products and service. The ONLY reason I am not giving it 4 solid stars was because the new garage opener installed was not the one I would have picked had I had a choice. The price was BEYOND fair, I mean REALLY good... He wanted to do me right, this was not about money for him at this point and it showed. But as much as I like to save money, I like to also know what I am compromising on in the process. I would have happily paid a little bit extra for the unit a step up. Maybe we should have talked about that a bit more carefully so I was 100% sure of what I would be getting. I thought I was, but stuff got lost in translation a little bit here. This is a small suggestion I'll leave as feedback for the future. All that aside, what really matters here is that the new opener IS solid and it's getting the job done. My personal gripe is small and should stop no one from using this company. I will keep using them and I will try being a bit better of a communicator too. Everything is a 2 sided deal, so I take accountability for this one too. Rock on, and thanks for talking care of me. We are 100% good.

We had a broken spring on our Garage door. Chris from Alliance had called us back immediately with a price and time when he and his crew can come-out. they came on the same day on time and replace the spring in less than 40 Mins.. I had Alliance Overhead Door replace a residential garage door spring that broke. They were the ONLY company out of 5 that provided a flat rate quote online (Yelp) when I requested it. So they got my business because I appreciate the transparency. Chris O showed up on a Sunday and replace the spring. He gave me a discount on a 2nd spring at a rental home I have in same community plus replaced the rollers. He was professional, friendly, flexible, and thorough . I would recommend Alliance to anyone needing residential garage door service. Thank you

I was in need of an urgent repair for my damaged garage door on a Saturday afternoon. I sent out for responses and quotes via yelp's quote gathering service. Chris with Alliance Overhead Doors was one of the 1st providers to respond. I wanted someone to come out to review the damage & provide me an estimate & ideally make the repairs as soon as possible without my needed to take time off from work. I didn't want to have to pay a service fee just to get an estimate & find out it too expensive of a repair. Chris gave me an estimate using the pictures I uploaded to yelp which was more than reasonable given the damage. He was able to come to assess the repairs needed the same day within the window of time I had available. He also kept me informed of his ETA as he was coming from a prior job. As I suspected, the damage was going to cost more than his original estimate. TBH I was concerned that the damage was beyond repair and I would need to plan to replace an entire 1 to 2 rows of panels across the entire garage door. He gave me a revised estimate for the potential repair he was going to try. It was again was very reasonable. I was amazed by his creative problem solving ability in the repairs he made. It is obvious he has significant amount of knowledge & experience with garage doors. He was able to repair my garage door and prolong the life of it. Overall I was very pleased with the availability at short notice, responsiveness, communication, skill of repair, and value for the work performed. I highly recommend Chris at Alliance for any garage repairs needed.

I recently called Alliance Overhead out for a follow-up visit to inspect and service my 16yo garage. Chris, the owner, responded very promptly and arrived on time. He was very thorough and wasted no time in diagnosing and getting my "senior" garage back on track. His skill, knowledge, and efficiency are undeniable and I trust his judgment. While I hope to get a few more years out of my garage, I won't hesitate to contact Alliance Overhead again if/when the need arises. Thank you for quality work at a reasonable price.

I can't say enough about Cesar. He came over and repaired a 50 year old garage door in under 2 hours and for much less than the other bids. Plus he is very funny and nice. I was glad to have met him just as a person. Anyway, yay!

I am fully amazed with this company! I dropped my kid off at school this morning and in my own little world pulled in the garage and hit the garage button, in my car, while still pulling in...who does that!?!? I messed up my garage door and it came off the hinge!!! I quickly reached out on Yelp for help, and Chris with Alliance Overhead Door reached out to me within 2 minutes, gave me an amazing quote, and sent Cesar out to my house first thing. Cesar was very knowledgable, quick and if it needed fixed, he fixed it .... even tweaking a couple of extra things that bothered him. Such a nice man and loves his job! My 8 year old garage feels like new again. I will forever call on Alliance Overhead Door for all our future garage needs.

Chris gave me a 2-hr window and showed up on time. He knew what he was doing. He immediately assessed my garage door, springs and took some measurements. Then, he worked like a pro removing both old springs and putting in a new set (he suggested replacing both at the same time). He applied some lubricant to all the moving parts on the side rails and also tightened the chain that the motor drives. All in all, he did a professional job. The garage door does seem quieter and smoother now than before. I would recommend him to others and hire him again. Services Rendered: I had one of my garage door springs break (luckily my garage had 2 springs that we were not stuck). I called Alliance Overhead Door and also Cedar Park Overhead Doors to get estimates. Alliance is definitely a smaller company than Cedar Park Overhead Doors so I had to leave a voicemail. However, Chris the owner returned my call shortly thereafter. Cedar Park Overhead Doors did have someone to answer my phone, After a couple of phone tags, I chose Alliance Overhead Door due to positive feedback in my neighborhood Facebook page and also lower cost. Cedar Park Overhead Doors offered a lifetime warranty on parts (labor needs to be paid each time however about $100), Alliance Overhead Door offered a 3-year warranty (I believe that includes labor but need to confirm).

I called Chris at Alliance Overhead Door, and got an immediate human contact, who provided answers to my questions, and provided me a quote over the phone for two new systems with all the features I requested plus installation plus removal and disposal. Chris showed an hour early on the appointed date (called on Sat, installed on Tue) after calling to inform me, and promptly went to work. He adjusted my garage doors on their tracks prior to installation, a $40 task for no charge(!). All I paid extra over the quote was for a $10 extension cord. Everything else was done as specified, and the new system is amazing: quiet, quiet, quiet, with motion sensing overhead lights, one keypad for both doors, two indoor keypads, and yes, there is an app for that so my wife no longer has to worry "did the door shut okay?". All said, I am very happy with the openers Chris selected for me. I am very happy with the installation. I am very happy with the cost, and the speed of service. Services Rendered: Replaced existing one door garage door opener with a pair of new openers. I had an older screw drive one door system, but I wanted something for my wife's new car. I knew I was going to replace the existing system, but I wanted something that worked together.

They are a local owner/operated business. He's a knowledgeable and friendly guy. Services Rendered: I use Alliance Overhead Door for garage door services. The previous tenants tried to open the garage door while it was still locked, so it yanked apart and twisted the whole assembly connected to the ceiling.

This is an owner-operated company. He's really knowledgeable guy. He points out what you need and what you don't need. He's really helpful. I had questions about how the system worked and he was able to help me with that. He also checked because the switch wasn't always working, so he was able to open it up and show me what was wrong. Services Rendered: The main spring on the garage door broke and did some alignment on the tracks.

Excellent is not a strong enough adjective to describe Chris and Alliance Overhead Door!! Last night, my wife came home from work around 6pm and parked her car in the garage. 15 minutes later, we hear a BOOOMMM!! from the garage. Spring broke in half. I called Chris up to see if we could schedule something, expecting him to be booked for the next week or so. He had things scheduled the next day so instead, went out of his way to come IMMEDIATELY and our garage door was fixed by 7:30pm! I seriously wish there were contractors and repairmen like Chris for all other areas of my house!! All that to say, rest assured that if you go with Chris to work on your garage door, you're in good (and fast) hands. BTW, Chris fixed the busted garage door that came with my newly purchased foreclosed house on the cheap 4 years ago and it's still going strong!! Services Rendered: Fixed garage door spring

Garage door spring broke last night. Could not get the garage door opened. I called Alliance this morning at 8:20 AM and they were able to meet me at my house by 9:00 AM. They fixed the spring and reattached the garage door opener arm to the garage door in under 30 minutes. Wonderful experience and fair price.
