Google5Our spring broke at the worst time. Doug immediately answered and showed up at our house within the hour late in the evening. He was extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and fair across the board. The work quality was high and everything was fixed immediately. Its not every day you come across genuine and good contractors. We got lucky with this one. Thanks again Doug.

Google5If I could give them 5 stars I would! I called another highly-rated local Company and they couldn't see me the same day and based on photos, quoted me $600-900. Lake Travis Overhead Doors fit me in immediately, repaired the damage in less than 10 minutes, and charged me a fraction of the other company's quote. Honest, fast, fair-pricing and they know their stuff!

Yelp5My garage door spring broke on Saturday afternoon. I took several bidders. One gave me a 10 day later appointment. One gave me a 3 day later appointment. I added Lake Travis Overhead Doors at 4:10pm and by 5 pm, Doug was set to come the next morning. I gave him my previous spring specs from 9 years ago. He came in and quickly figured out they were too small (putting the next stronger springs on). He was almost done with the job and did a manual test and decided they were still too weak. So he redid the whole job with bigger springs. Then he adjusted and lubbed my door and found a loose connection to the photocell. I offered to pay more since he did the extra work (and upped the size of the springs from my originals), but he stuck to his original estimate. He is very knowledgeable and I learned a few tricks from him. He's my garage door guy from now on. I'll also add that he came in under the other bids. He's my garage door guy from now on. You can't go wrong with Doug.

Google5My garage door spring(s) decided to break this morning. I contacted Lake Travis Overhead Doors, and Doug said he could fix it first thing tomorrow morning - awesome timing on short notice. Later on, he called and said he could come out this afternoon - hell yeah, sooner the better. I appreciate his promptness, professionalism, and providing a good value. Please support local small businesses!!!

Yelp5I first contacted a large competitor and they came out to give me a quote and I was ready to move forward. They gave me a lead time of 1-2 weeks. I then contacted Doug at Lake Travis Overhead Doors to check the price and lead time. I described the broken springs and how many needed to be replaced (Qty 4) and he immediately gave me a quote over the phone that was ~40% less than the other guy. Moreover, he said he could install the spring system the next day. I moved forward with Doug's company (family owned and operated btw) and he completed the install as promised and quoted! Very happy with the results and would highly recommend. Thank you Doug!

Yelp5We couldn't recommend Doug more for any garage door services. He was over at our house within 30 minutes and was quickly able to diagnose the problem, provide solutions & pricing and have it all fixed within a matter of hours. Don't waste your time on anyone else, call Doug!

Yelp5We're so lucky to have Doug Burd in our area. He's truly a garage door wizard! I had called him to install a remote entry keypad for us but when he got here he immediately spotted a crack forming at the top of our garage door that I had not noticed. The door was bowed in the middle and would have snapped pretty soon. He came back later the same day with the reinforcement parts and made the door open smoother and quieter than it has in years. He really went above and beyond. I'm so glad I hired a garage door expert rather than a handyman. Extremely fair pricing too. Thank you, Doug!

Yelp5Our garage door remote control opener stopped working, so, based on many recommendations from the internet, we called Lake Travis Overhead Doors and Doug Burd came out the same day. He determined that the Logic Control Board needed replaced and said it would be difficult to find. Fortunately for us, Doug managed to locate the last board in any company's inventory saving us from buying a new unit. It's great to use someone who understands service and we highly recommend Lake Travis Overhead Doors.

Yelp5Doug has superman-level response time! After 15 years, our garage door spring finally broke. Doug was there 45 minutes after we called, and had it repaired less than an hour later. Wow! I can't promise he'll fix your garage that quickly, but I was very impressed by both his promptness and professionalism.

Yelp5Excellent locally owned business! Doug came to my house to fix the garage door opener and also tuned up the door. He is honest and didn't try to claim the logic board I bought online is faulty, instead, he tried his best to make sure it still works. After adjusting the garage door, he and the other technician tuned up the door itself to make sure the loud noise that I have been having is gone. Really appreciate his honesty and most importantly the wonderful work. I will definitely use the shop again.

Yelp5I am so impressed with the response and service I received from Lake Travis Overhead Doors today. Doug Burd, the owner, answered when I called and he offered to come out the same day to replace the motor in my garage door opener. I was amazed. The other company I called couldn't schedule the repair for a week. Doug installed the new motor and was in and out within an hour. He showed me his work, explained the whole process and his price was very reasonable. If only everyone delivered great work and great customer service like this!! Thank you, Doug!!

Google5Great and quick services. I'd thought it going to take 1 week or two to replace the door, but Doug Burd came to my place and had just fixed the door in 30 minutes. He also explained that it will take time to order a new one, but current damage does not require the full replacement, with 2 more bars, he get the door back in shape and functional. Thanks for the great service!
