Called up Fred C. Johnson after I determined fixing my garage door springs was out of my league as a honey-do repair. (Garage door springs are dangerous if you don't know what you're doing!) They got a tech out within a few hours. Our tech Mark was courteous, polite, and patient with all my questions about how the system worked. As many of you know, many techs/repairmen/contractors act like they can't be bothered if you have questions, but not so with Mark and Fred C. Johnson. And even with my seemingly endless questions, Mark was done and out of here in less than 40 minutes. Incredible service and would totally recommend. To boot, it was actually cheaper than a lot of comprable services in the area. What's not to love?!
Doors and service are great. But for employment. There is favoritism. One employee is racist. And has a tendency to be violent or threaten violence. As a helper you will be ridiculed if you voice your opinion.
Excellent work and very professional employees. When I called about safety stickers to satisfy an inspection agreement they were willing to provide the stickers free of charge despite thinking it was a silly request. (I also thought it was a silly request but it needed to be done.) HIGHLY recommend!
Installation of new garage door openers went really smoothly. Technicians were punctual and efficient. Got exactly what I asked for. Only issue was that I was cleaning up staples, wire scraps, and various other trash quite a bit over the following days.
Contacted this company and spoke with Rebecca. She really helped me out by making suggestions for what might wrong and guided me through "repairs" I could do myself. I would have gladly paid for an estimate, but Rebecca said she rather help me and save me the cost of a service appointment. Wow! This is a company I can trust.
The technician Mark came to our home and was courteous and polite. He identified the problem with my garage door instantly. My system is out of date and it looked like I would need a new one. Mark took the time to call in just in case they had the part and after trying 2 of them he found the right one. The door is working and as quiet as ever. Over 15 years they have installed 3 new garage doors, repaired springs in old garage doors, serviced motors and belts. EVERY time, the products and service were impeccable. What REALLY has stood out is customer service. Over 15 years, I have probably called 8-10 times with "problems" with a power door. Every time, the receptionist would try to "solve" my problem. If she didn't feel competent, she would get a tech, manager, or owner to "walk" me thru the "problem". 80-90% of the problems could be fixed quickly and easily with a little step-by-step advice. Once, they determined over the phone that a 10+ year old lift had a broken part. I asked to schedule a service call/repair. The owner said, " I'd be happy to schedule a repair, but you already have removed the part and have it in your hand. If you want to stop by and purchase the part, you can save the "service call charge". This made this a very reasonably priced repair. Tech Bryan V was able to do replacement of extension springs same day as we called. Total cost, parts and labor, was $188. A previous company had quoted $325, which I was very suspicious of and as it turns out, rightfully so. It took Bryan about 40 minutes to do the repair and all is working great now!
