The response time of Overhead Door Company of Binghamton is wonderful! Three days after I called to make an appointment, the technician was here. Within a matter of ten minutes, Tim, the technician, diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He also set up the built-in garage door opener in our cars.

We called Overhead Door to come check our noisy overhead garage door opener. Within a few days it had been checked and replaced! Trevor and Collin came when expected, replaced the motor, rails, programmed my car quickly, and cleaned up all of the removed parts! The quiet new motor is wonderful! Thanks, Overhead Door!!!

Tim, the OHD of Binghamton repairman, called ahead and arrived on time to measure and then, the next day, repair our broken torsion spring. He worked diligently and professionally. Based on Tim's work and the office staff's quick response, we highly recommend OHD Bing for all garage door repairs.

Tim did a fantastic job of replacing our garage door springs. Explained the process, recommended the solution. Once the springs were ready, he was back out within two working days (Had New Years in between) He was fast, efficient, and friendly. Explained everything again after the fact. I highly recommend Overhead Doors and Tim!

Cory, Lewie, Trevor and Ryan did an awesome job. They were professional and mindful to clean up and take home all debris and even held a ladder so the owner could reach and clean a third story window while they were there. By the way - the three new doors look amazing!

I called first thing in the morning and Tom came right out. He quickly gave me a quote and got me on the schedule. In the meantime, he said he could probably get a repair person out next week but someone came that day. Corey was amazing. My garage door was dangerously mangled. He fixed it so it's safe until we can get the new door. He was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend ODC.

So hard to find a top notch company to do anything these days and I am absolutely ecstatic with this install. Thank you guys so much! I needed to have a new motor on my garage door. The one we were replacing was many years old. Geoff M and Jr put a new one a few weeks ago. They did a wonderful job, definitely a 5 star job. I think that this company are lairs and money-grubbing crocks mI closed my garage door and I head a snap I turned around and I saw that a cable had broken. I never thought to look at the spring. I called up overhead doors and I was told that I would have to wait a week before anyone could get to me. I was also told that the first trip would be 115.00 and that included the first hour. I said to put me down and I would still see if I could find someone that would come sooner I would give them a call. Well, the next day I got a call from a guy from there and wanted to know if I would be home I said yes. He came and said that my spring was broken I look and it was. So anyway He said that if I had said it was a spring he would have had to come out to measure it to see what it took. he fix it to work if need be and said that he would have to order one and it would take two to three days and try not to use it if I didn't have to. The guy was her 15 min at the most. The next day I get a call from a young lady and she asked me if I would be home because she wanted to send two guys out to finish the job. I said now you are going to charge me for another guy and she told me no I what about the second trip out she told me no because the guy wasn't here that long. So the guys were fixed the door and left I thought that They would give me a bill. They didn't so I called up and the young lady told me what the bill was I almost dropped dead. I was waiting for the bill and waiting and in the meantime, I got a hold of a couple of overhead guys and told them what I needed and they said that it would cost me around 260.00 plus tax. These people said that the spring was 185 dollars and I asked the girl why it was so high she told me that the prices went up That is funny because the other door company said that the springs were 135.00. I had an hour of the time the guys used 45 min. of it at the most. Nobody said anything about travel time. the other companies never said anything about it. that is why they charge you 115.00. that is the travel time. So I got the bill today and they are charging me 172.00 for labor which I still had 15 min of the hour left from when they came the first time. WHich I should not be charged labor. They are not only liars they are money-grubbers they change everything so they can rip you off. If anyone is reading this please find a different overhead door company one that is and is true to their word

We have purchased several doors from overhead door and for the most part the service was adequate. After several service calls on one particular door it was recommended that we go from a panel door to a roll up door. It was explained that the door was more robust and would not need as much service. The price for the door was almost twice the price of a new commercial panel door, but if it was going to be more reliable than it should be worth it. Within two years the main spring and shaft broke rendering the door useless for 4-6 weeks until a new one can come in at a cost of $1500. They claimed to be surprised that it happened so quickly and was no longer covered under any warranty. We replaced it thinking this was a fluke. Now two years later it has broken again. This door is for my main deliveries. So once again I am out of business for another 4-6 weeks and now the cost is $1750. Now they want to sell me a commercial panel door, which we replaced 4 years ago that is twice as reliable. This company does not stand behind its products. I was spending $1000 a year in service before. Why did I have to buy an almost $4000 door to continue paying roughly the same amount. I do not recommend this company and will be taking my business elsewhere. It seems most others I talk to have had similar experiences; I just wish I knew this sooner before I wasted all of this money.

I got 3 estimates. Overhead Door was the only place that gave me 3 door design options for what I explained I wanted, as well as 5 color choices. They also suggested I get the keyless entry, since I have no other access in to my garage, should the power ever go off or the electric opener stop working.
