Google5We had a spring that broke. We called Red Mountain Garage Doors. Jeremy came out and was able to install new springs in about an hour. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

Google5Service was exceptional and so was the price. Was assisted by Leo and fixed what was broken quickly. Will be recommending this to my family, friends, neighbors and everyone I know. Quite unbelievable that not many people know about this company.

Google5Bought my first house recently and garage door was out of service. Called Red Mountain to fix it and got a great price. Leo came over and fixed it quickly. 11/10 and I know where to go when I have my next garage door issue.

Google5Fantastic customer service, I called to schedule an appointment for the following day as I was supposed to have a party, and my garage door wasn't working, so I could not put my car in the garage. Was given a very reasonable price and Leo came the following day and fixed it very speedily. 10/10.

Google5Everyone at RMGD was very professional , courteous and friendly. The opener had gone bad, so the unit had to be replaced. Ryan, the technician was very knowledgeable and I felt instantly that he was honest and he has an exemplary work ethic that I rarely see in anyone. I knew instantly after meeting him that I had contacted the right company! I highly recommend RMGD (and ask for Ryan) to repair or replace your garage door opener. Additionally, he lubricated the springs and told me how and how often I should do this to keep them in good working order. Totally satisfied and will call them for any work I need in the future.

Yelp1I just had a garage door repair done yesterday. Our door was stuck in the down position because of a broken torsion spring - as such, we needed it to be fixed immediately. Red Mountain charged us $365 to replace the broken torsion spring, plus $245 for an operator bracket, for a total of $610. I just got two quotes from two other highly reputable garage door companies in Huntsville - one quoted me $190 total, and one quoted me $304. It turns out that the spring is a $60 part, and as for the $245 bracket that Red Mountain scammed me for, Home Depot sells the very same part for $11.53. I understand that there's a labor charge to be expected, but this entire fix was completed in 40 minutes. At $100 / hour labor, this entire fix should have cost ~$200-250, and Red Mountain charged me $610. I cannot even begin to tell you how disappointed that I am in this business, and how disappointed I am that I got scammed like this. I would absolutely, under no circumstances, recommend this company.

Yelp1$2000 for a Lowe's garage door that still won't close because of the motor on the opener. Left screws all over garage and "forgot" to put the lock on that was conveniently found laying in the garage. Another company came out, found out could have had door, motor, sensors, everything replaced for that price. Posting review for my friend who has been swindled. Shameful.

When a company value your time you know you got a Winner!!! Matt work fast and very knowledgeable of his job!! He took his time and showed us how to work the app on our phone as well as the remote control. Thanks for A Job Well Done!

Yelp2Two stars because there was good and bad with my experience. I'll start with the bad. I called due to an issue we were having with a 6 year old Craftsman garage door opener that was purchased through Sears. It's very difficult to run Sears down these days, and I won't go into all those details. So, we called this business to come look at and fix the one we had. It seemed like a simple issue as the chain had one side with a lot of tension, and the door would not go up. The workers for this organization could not seem to make a repair or diagnose an issue at all. All they could do is recommend purchasing a new unit. Ultimately, this is what we did, due to the previously mentioned issues with finding someone from Sears to come. They left the old unit for us just in case we got someone to answer questions about possible warranty issues. Once we got someone from Sears services to come out and diagnose the problem with the older unit, he could not find anything wrong with it and had it in working order in no time. Sear rep opened it up (guys from Red Mtn. didn't do this) and stated everything including gears, sprockets, and boards looked to be in great condition. Ultimately, we are out of pocket for a new garage door opener when all we needed was a repair. Bottom line don't advertise that you can repair these things if your workers can't make fix that should have been simple. Just say you sell new ones, because this appears to be all you are capable of. I called and gave them the opportunity to make the situation right. They took my number and said they would call back with a proposal, but I have yet to hear back about this. My experience with them wasn't all bad. They did come out the same day I called which was good, and they at least seemingly can install a new unit and do it well. Needless to say I will not use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

Yelp5One of our garage doors needed repair- a broken spring. I requested an appointment late on a Friday afternoon and Red Mountain called me within an hour to set up a time. I was given a window of 8-10am which is so helpful- knowing I didn't have to take a whole day off was great. Brandon called at 8:00 arrived at 8:30am and was finished at 9. He was friendly, professional and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Angi5Sebastian and his associate Ronald assessed our tired and marginally functioning garage doors. Later Sebastian did a great installation. I had done my "homework" and had an idea of costs prior to the job. Their bid was less than expectation. Moreover, we had excellent service from start to finish. The job was done in a timely manner. All appointments were kept on time, and we even got texts shortly before arrival so we could put up our unruly dogs. He is a true expert in his field that provided key information that helped making our repair as smooth and easy as possible with competitive prices. Fixed our door the next day!
