Google5I wanted to reach out and let you know what outstanding service I have received from Mary. I had an emergency situation and, after explaining the situation to Mary, she made it a priority. After checking with schedules and calling me back, she had someone over at their house almost immediately! Mary was extremely understanding on the phone and is truly a credit to your organization. She deserves recognition and I hope this finds its way to the right person.

Google1Our garage door wouldn't open and I could see the spring was broken. I called overhead at 210 West Rd #4 in Portsmouth NH and they said someone would come out to look at it the next day. Someone did show up (but he said he was going to quit) and he said someone would have to see if they had the part and left. I called the office and the rudest lady answered the phone and said that the part would be ordered and it would be 3 months or more to get it fixed. I told her to not bother and I would find someone else. I had another company come out and they replaced the spring and all was good. Today, months later (the bill says the sold date was 5/24/2023) I received a bill for $128.00 plus interest $9.46!!??? I have no clue what for ??? They did NOTHING for us!!! I was never told there was a charge to be talked to on the phone in such a rude manner! I do not plan to pay this bogus bill and will contest it. Stay away from them.

Google1A complete lack of professionalism and customer service. I made five calls over two weeks to have a garage door opener replaced that has similar capabilities to my current one but also one that has a battery backup. The first call I spoke with a technician, they took all of my info down, asked for an email with pictures of the current setup, and said they would get back to me. They didn't. I called back a week later and reached the same technician. They once again asked for all of my info because I "wasn't in the system". They now inform me that I need to provide the model number before they can even give me an estimate. Ok, that's fair but it would've been nice if they responded to my email or called me back. I call back later that day with the model number. I can't reach a technician as none were in the building but I was told they would call back by end of day. They didn't. I call back the next day and reach a second technician. After giving him the model number, he tells me that they don't have any garage door openers that can do what my existing unit can, has a battery backup, and runs on AC power. However, he suggests that I could simply purchase an uninterruptible power supply rated for server use and they could install that (and he even offered to go purchase one from Office Depot). Excellent, we have a solution. I told him I'd order one and call back when it arrived as I would like them to install it. A few days later, the UPS arrives and I call back the fifth and final time. I reach an older gentleman that was a manager (not sure) . I explain the situation and he is completely confused. He asks for all of my info (for the third time) because "I'm not in the system". I explain everything again: the lack of a suitable replacement unit, the suggested alternative (by his employee), and my willingness to still pay money for his team to install it. He was angry. He had never heard of any technician installing an UPS and he has "been running this place for over 40 years and had never heard of an UPS". He raised his voice, he was angry, he was sarcastic - "it was a good thing you talked to someone smarter than me about this", then back to angry "what do you want us to do about it?". He told me that he was going to have a talking to his employees and figure out which one told me this and that I would get a call back before end of day. I asked, "who will be calling me back?". He responded (angrily), "the employee you spoke to or me". No one called back. TLDR: I had to call them 5 times because they never called back. One technician suggested a clever alternative, which I pursued, and the "manager" got angry at me for wanting him to follow through. I'm just going to invest in getting the tools to install it myself instead of giving them money.

Google5Bottom line. I had a new door and opener installed in Ogunquit, Me. I could not have had a better experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I worked with Brian on quote and contract. He showed up as expected and was responsive through the entire process. To be clear - there was a wait for the door - they do not make them - they have to order - but Brian told me the date that it would be in, and it was to the day that he said. Scheduled the install later in the week. They did need to come back (they forgot a part) and came literally the next day. I'm not sure what is going on with the negative reviews - but I assure you my experience was a positive one. Thanks, Brian, Walter, Mary and Dianne (and the man that came today to finish - don't recall his name). Wish every company that I dealt with was as professional and friendly as you. Tom

Google5We found Overhead door to be responsive and prompt. They came out quickly for an estimate, responded to all of our questions and communicated about scheduling so we wouldn't have to wait around all day for them. The finished installation works perfectly. We also contacted two other companies prior to choosing overhead door and gave up waiting for them to respond with estimates or when we had questions.

Google1I was given a 2 hr window of when to be home for the technician, 45 minutes after that time passed I call the office where is ur worker? Calls worker he's stuck at another job, guess his time was more valuable than mine, no cal no sorry I'm running late. No offer from the office how can we make this right. I'm a prior customer as well. They clearly don't care about the customer hire someone else. I will..
