These people are fantastic! From my initial call to the completed (to my satisfaction) job they were professional, courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable. We live in a townhome community and our garage door is almost 23 years old For a number of reasons it was starting to get stuck. Brandon showed up on time and made all the necessary adjustments in less than an hour. Best of all they offered to discount the service by $20 because we gave them canned goods and a box of dried pasta for a holiday food drive. I just thought that was the absolute coolest thing that any company I've ever had come to my home to service anything has ever done. I was completely blown away. Could not recommend these people enough.
Communication, prompt service, and working with women are definitely not a strength for this business. They never once called or emailed me back (even with the estimate) until I got a man to reach out on my behalf. Kind of a bummer. It took them over 2 months to repair the garage. We ended up doing a patch ourselves after our cars sustained hail damage. When calling to ask when our ordered part would arrive, they never knew but were always "pretty sure" it would be on the truck next week. Again, this went on for 2 months. The techs themselves are great and did solid work. But the scheduling/estimate/ordering/customer service side of the business was super frustrating. Price was pretty standard. But, we'll definitely go with another company next time.
Very prompt service...was at our home in one hour to fix our garage door. Joey was very personable & fixed the problem quickly as well as lubricating & balancing! We have always used Garage Door Systems & have been very happy with their service over the years!
Branden and Ethan were on time and very efficient in repairing my garage that would not open or close. After they finished repairing, they even cleaned everything on and around the garage door put new lights in it and double checked everything to make sure it was working properly.
Our garage door (22 years old) finally broke a spring. I do any and all home repairs possible, but unfortunately garage door springs aren't in my wheelhouse. Called these guys up and they were polite and professional and actually showed up the next day to not only replace both springs but also got my cable rewound that had become detached and unspooled on one side. Brandon was great and we appreciated getting this resolved quickly.
Door bounced off track! The first tech came out same day I called and got my door down (no charge) while I scheduled an appointment to have them come out to fix the bigger issue. I love how transparent and quick Brandon and Ethan were! They helped me understand the issue and answered my questions with no hesitation. Very personable too! Will be calling them if there is ever an issue again.
Came on the same day and replaced my entire spring assembly in less than an hour! I had the old Wayne Dalton setup and both springs replaced. Brandon and Ethan were excellent and got the job done with no problems at all. This is my second time needing Garage Door System's work in 15 years and I couldn't be happier with their work!
Was able to get an appointment first thing in the morning one day after I spoke to the office to get the broken torsion spring replaced. I used this company three years ago to install a new opener and had very good service from them again today. They also installed new rollers, checked the operation of the door thoroughly and cleaned the door once they were done.
This company did great work to install our garage door opener! We were having difficulty with the door not going up and down consistently so we made a call to have them come back and help us. Jack came and made our garage door track more secure as it was wobbly! (They weren't the ones who installed our original track) The cost is what we would have expected for a door opener but the service is outstanding. He was friendly, patient and efficient! We will recommend them to everyone!
Two men from GDS showed up right on time and went straight to work fixing the garage door keypad. They also did a general maintenance service on the springs, rollers and hinges too, which I'd asked for as well. It had been 5 yrs. since it was last done. The keypad is 25 yrs. old. I'd replaced the battery, when it stopped working a couple months ago, but couldn't get it to reprogram for me. The remote and button for the opener still worked though, so I didn't call anyone to repair it until I was forced to. Last week, my youngest child got locked out of the house without her key, and we don't have one hidden outside anywhere either. She ended up calling a ride and went to her aunt's house, until I got back to town. I really shouldn't have waited so long, but it wasn't a huge problem. Since, I'd forgotten how to reprogram the keypad, and couldn't locate the instructions in my house either, nor online (YouTube, you failed me), and ll the maintenance was also needed, I called around for quotes from highly rated Yelp offerings. All the quotes were within $20 of each other, so I chose the company that was closest and could send someone today, with no extra charge. GDS did NOT fail me. Thanks GDS. Installed mid Feb 2021 and we are still waiting for trim to be installed along with a replacement panel for one door. Opener needs adjustment as the door comes down hard. Have made numerous calls--tired of asking them to come out and finish the job. Unfortunately, we should not have paid in full, until work was completed. Will not hire again. Services Rendered: We ordered two garage doors, along with one new garage door opener.
Super awesome service. Don, who's been with them for a while was so friendly and very quickly fixed the problem. Apparently, the technician who originally installed the garage door had forgotten a few things- and apparently he was fired. Don was on time and worked very quickly. He was in and out after fixing the garage door in about a half an hour. Amazing! Plus, he was so polite and willing to let me chat with him while he was correcting problems that the fired technician had forgotten to do or did incorrectly. That's not a smear on the company at all... it's good that they decided to let that person go and repaired the things that technician didn't do - at no charge. My garage is tricky, it doesn't have much clearance to install the door but just enough. Apparently, it's a home that was built at the YMCA and installed in this particular neighborhood. They are known to have very minimal in construction. Don even gave me interesting information on the neighborhood which was interesting and good to know. The door is fixed and good as new... no popping and banging and having to push the door to close it at the 1 foot level where it would stop. I am overjoyed with the efficiency and friendliness that came from Don. He's been there long enough to make the job look simple and almost automatic. Now, the receptionist, or whoever answers the phone is not as good representation of the company so don't judge them by her seemingly indifferent and dull attitude. If I were the boss, I'd let her go. That's my only gripe. Otherwise, this is the business you want to use! Look no further, you've found the right business.
Excellent!! I left a message at 9:15 in the evening and at 7:20 a.m. the next day I received a call saying they could be out between 8-9:00 a.m. that day. GREAT SERVICE! Johnny arrived at 8:00 a.m. sharp and had the door fixed within 45 minutes. He was very polite, efficient, and knew exactly what the problem was. Let me start by saying that there are a lot of garage door scammers out there. I will admit that I fell for it at first. I got the coupon in the Money Mailer (direct mail coupon book), and thought I was going to get a great deal. The guy from the coupon came out. He was so aggressive. High pressure sales tactics, wouldn't tell me the model of the opener that he was going to install. He actually became a bit aggressive. I am a 40 year old man that stands 6'3" and weighs 240lbs. This dude was making me nervous. I finally showed him to his truck and told him to get the f**k off my property. Had my wife or mother been confronted with these tactics, I am not sure how it would have gone. Called a good friend who is a local HVAC guy and he recommended Garage Door Systems. I called them up. Got an appointment the next morning. They came out and were beyond professional. The service technician quickly diagnosed my problem, gave me some options in terms of features of the system etc. I selected the one that I thought would best suit me. He pulled the product off the truck, adjusted my door, installed the new equipment all the while he carried on a wonderful conversation. He finished, shook my hand and went to his next appointment. All told, I had a true professional in my home that repaired my door and replaced my equipment for less than 1/3 of Mr. aggressive coupon guy quoted me. I will never use any other garage door service company other than Garage Door Systems. Hands down the best customer service and value experience I have had from a service company. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Our garage door spring broke. I was able to get a same day appointment right before Thanksgiving. Thank goodness! Michael showed up on the the earlier part of the spectrum of estimated times and quickly fixed the issue. He was very nice in the process. I would strongly recommend them.

We've called these guys every time our garage door stops working right and every time they come out, they're friendly, professional, efficient, and honest. We've had a lot of situations where it would have been easy for them to sell us things we didn't need. Instead, they've fixed the problems with know-how and expertise instead. You can bet your bottom dollar that when our garage door does finally fail beyond repair, they'll be the ones that get the job to replace it.
My door spring broke today and upon the recommendation of a friend, I called Garage Door Systems. The technician was here within 30 minutes of my call. He fixed the spring and did maintenance on both my double and single doors. No mess was left behind. The price was great, the repair quick and the staff friendly. Thanks!

Garage Door Systems Inc was great! While other companies quoted a full replacement of the Garage Door Opener, Garage Door Systems let me know there was a replacement part and saved me a lot of money. Would definitely use them again. Services Rendered: Gear holding chain broke off of my Garage Door Opener, so I needed it fixed or replaced.

A spring broke in my garage door. I called garage door systems. I had both of the springs replaced. They replaced them and adjusted the chain. He also installed a high vibration tolerant light bulb. He set the four remotes. It was $90 labor. He came on time. It was $50 + tax for each spring. Services Rendered: He replaces springs in my garage door.
