Google5I am very pleased with all levels of service I received from Garage Door Store - from my sales contact to installation to customer service. I shopped around for the best product at the best price, and I'm certain I could not do better than GDS. The installation crew was top-notch. They knew their work and got busy in a hurry. They were in-and-out in less than a day - installing three doors plus operators. Hopefully, these are the last garage doors I ever have to purchase. But if I do have to purchase additional overhead doors in the future, I'm going straight to GDS. I recommend you do the same. ~ Joel O, Crosslake, MN.

Google1My garage opener stopped working. I took it apart and found the replacement part on the internet for $16.00 but I thought I could fix the same day if I had the part the same day. So I drove to Garage Door Store in Nissaw because they had one. Yes they did have one at the tune of "$42.00" talk about ripping people off this is prime example! Then they had the audacity to say the difference in price was I could get this one now and not have to wait!!

Google3New construction home. Went here on recommendation of builder. The folks are nice just not responsive. We have gone to Nisswa store and no one there. We have called many times to get updates on delivery/install. No return calls from one of the staff who I won't mention by name. When we finally got to it, wrong door and dented. So we r not impressed but not many places to choose from in Nisswa area. We r easy to get along with, not too much to ask to communicate and do job in timely fashion. So I will add an update to above. We have had COUNTLESS problems with our garage door an opener. Despite these problems (which you just have to laugh at b/c they have been to our house close to 10 times in 4 months), the service staff has been great!! They have tried to fix the problems, they have done everything they could think of, it has been one thing after another but the service we have had since is great and they should be applauded. We shouldn't have these problems but stuff happens, and when you have these issues you just want to know that someone is listening and willing to help, and they are!

Google5Our garage door cable came off and the door itself got stuck so it wouldn't go up or down. I called the GDS in Nisswa. The lady was super nice. She asked me if it was an emergency and I admitted it wasn't. Luckily my car was already out of the garage but our boat was in there and it sure would be nice to have it for the Fourth of July (the next day.) She checked the schedule and said "We have a tech working in Crosslake and could be there in a couple of hours." I said "Great!" They were as good as their word, the tech was there in about an hour and had my door repaired in about 20 minutes. Best $98 I've spent in awhile!

Google5Thank you, Garage Door Store. This morning I needed service for a broken tortion spring, as our garage door wouldn't open. I talked to Julie in your service department, and she said a service person could be here this afternoon. When the GDS vehicle arrived, I recognized Andy Meierhofer as a former Brainerd Warrior football player. Andy went to work immediately. He was very efficient and knowledgable. He was a gentleman at all times, and he answered my questions with "Yes, Sir." Upon completion, Andy gave me a complete review of all services rendered and instructions for future maintenance. I would highly recommend Garage Door Store (and Andy Meierhofer) for any garage door needs. Deryl Ramey, Baxter, MN.

Google1I have been a customer of the Garage Door Store in Nisswa and I will never do business with them again. I had them install two 10x8 garage doors and openers in a new garage. They installed used panels which they had to come back and replace another time while punching several unnecessary holes in my flashing around the garage door framing. They installed two new doors at my dad's place the same day and forgot to put the final weather stripping around one door. Then magically two days later after the install both of my dad's garage door openers fail. After trying to open them manually we had found they were so poorly adjusted one had caught on the interior of the garage which led to the garage door openers breaking. So here we go again, they installed two new openers for my dad and managed to scratch both new doors while doing it. If I could give zero stars I would. After talking with people about garage door companies in the Brainerd Lakes area American Door is a much better option. DO NOT go with Garage Door Store-Nisswa

Google5Amazing friendly staff, great product and fair pricing. Couldn't be happier with my experience from every one of these guys I've worked with from start to finish. They made sure I got everything I was looking for...even helped me with choosing the right color and it looks phenomenal! Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Google5A cable snapped last night on our garage door as we went into the garage. I called the Garage door store in Nisswa, we needed help fast. I had a doctor's appointment the next day at 0930 and my wife had a meeting at 1300 hrs. Justin showed up at 7:30 and had two new cables installed and the garage working in less than 15 minutes. Thanks Justin.
