I can't rave enough about Golden Isles Garage Doors' service and professionalism! I called Guido at 8 am (he ANSWERED), and he arrived as promised that afternoon to evaluate. (And remembered to text as requested when on his way. Little stuff like that matters!)
I wasn't surprised that our 20-year-old unit needed replacing (control board was shot). But I was blown away when Guido told me that the budget-friendliest option (my request) would be for me to pick up an opener (he specified an affordable one on sale at Lowe's), which he would install the next day for an insanely reasonable price.
He just finished my install and I couldn't be happier! His work was precise and pristine, and he carted the old equipment, as well.
I posted a "fab local tradesperson find" rave on my neighborhood FB page, and LO and behold -- there were many Guido fans already among us.
Before leaving, he gave me technical advice and equipment recommendations for a luxury project on Sea Island, which was beyond thoughtful.
Golden Isles Garage Doors is my official go-to for garage door work locally -- they're that rarely-seen combination of professionalism, personability and know-how that is always a pleasure to work with.
