I called them on weds. Dave showed up next day! The repair on my garage door was completed in about 40 minutes! A little pricey, but well worth it. After spending 4 hours trying to fix it myself, and getting no were, it was a pleasure watching Dave make it look easy! Thank you
I had one wire snap and it was fixed for $200. A bit expensive for a $5.00 part but ok. The power went out so we used the manual system and door flew up so fast, it looked like is almost took out the motor. We figured spring was a bit to tight. So they sent a young kid out with a bad attitude from the get go. Nothing like the first guy who was very cool. The youngster told me I had the wrong spring on the torsion bar. I replied that was the original system for a decade so I doubt it. He called his boss and wanted to come out, take off the door, weigh it, and put in a new spring. When I didn't like his suggestion (sounded like he wanted to rip me off) I said I don't think that's gonna happen he acted like he won the lottery and sarcastically and loudly said "OH Yeah...GREAT" and left. Reply to Sara Vella: My post were facts, not feelings. (Nice deflect) You had your chance to reach out Monday and ignored to do so. As soon as Scott left I was sent a text rating for him and I gave him 5 stars plus a $20.00 tip when he left. I never got to rate Nick as you chose not to send the rating. (Smart but dishonest) You also ignored that I had those springs for a decade and "all of a sudden they were wrong springs"??? That sounds ridiculous. Doubt you would have charged me? I doubt you wouldn't have. Sorry you felt the need to express your feelings here and not call me. (Again) I might have deleted this review.
Overall ok experience -Sales person was misleading with the lead time and about a handle to open the garage door. -Installer was polite and did a great job. - Office staff could use a refresher on manners.
I called Overhead Door yesterday evening and they sent David out this morning. David was very pleasant and professional. He was able to identify the problem immediately and quickly fixed it. He also took the time to explain to me how to prevent the issue from happening again. I would definitely recommend this company for any issues with your garage/overhead doors. Great service this morning by Mike! Both of the cables attached to the spring snapped while the car was inside...of course. Mike got them replaced and I was out the door in no time. Absolutely would recommend National to anyone. Extra bonus for being very dog friendly too!
This company was recommend to me so I thought I’d pay it forward & recommend to anyone else whom may need their services. I originally hired 24 hour door (HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND) for a new garage & motor. My experience was terrible! In short, I did not end up keeping their door because the first one they installed had scratches & scuffs all over & when they brought a replacement it was the same thing so obviously I did not accept it. I called National because they came highly recommended from two friends & I’m so glad I did. The rep who came to give me the estimate was fantastic & between the door (a nicer one) & motor (same exact as 24 hr) I saved $540! The same exact motor, remotes & keep pad alone was $100 less. Highly recommend!!
My wife and I could not be happier with the purchase of our new insulated Raynor garage door from National Overhead Door in Orchard Park, NY. With the great help of the salesman John, we matched the color (Auburn) perfectly to our front and side door. John recommended "insulated" and we are so glad we did as we live here in Western New York with soon coming cold temps, and the insulated garage door is quiet as a mouse ! This was our 2nd purchase from them as 3 years ago we also purchased a Lifestyle Screen door from them that we love too ! And a huge shout out too Scott the installer. He worked at least 5 or 6 solid hours for us in 86 degrees heat with a lot of sweat. Scott even removed our "Ring Door Bell" and removed our "wired Key pad" for the garage door due to the build out and then repositioned them perfectly. i had a new garage door and garage door opener put in to replace my 50 year old one. I was very happy with the service and job done. I have used National Overhead Door a few times. I had them put a screen on my garage a few years back and I love it and it rolls up in the winter. Before I replaced the garage door I had them come out to replace springs on my old one. Sales person was very knowledgeable, flexible, and responsive in comparing and selecting from the options and alternatives. We ended up selecting premium series R16 insulated doors with double-pane glass windows manufactured by Richards-Wilcox in Canada. We were told they would take about two weeks to get and sure enough our phone rang in two weeks to schedule installation. Two technicians arrived right at the scheduled time and were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was 5 degrees F with wind and snow, but installers Chuck and Mike had smiles on their faces and told me this was their favorite weather to work in. It was evident they enjoy what they do, and I felt comfortable knowing that they were not likely to cut corners in order to get out of the cold more quickly. Multiple offers to come inside to warm up or grab a bite to eat or drink were respectfully declined, and I never saw them take a break that would distract them from their work. I have to say these doors are the most robust doors that I have ever seen and the quality of both the doors and the installation looks outstanding. Upon completing the job and programming 4 transmitters they removed all the old materials and new packaging and swept out my garage leaving it cleaner than when they arrived. National Overhead Door in Orchard Park, NY gave me a great product with great service. I would highly recommend them for both new and repair work involving garage doors and openers. Services Rendered: Replacement of 2 garage doors (16' x 8' and 9' x 8'), springs, tracks and operators
Same day excellent response and service. Don came to the house fixed the cable and balanced the door that was unbalanced when installed by another company. He thanked me for my service in the Marine Corps and did not charge for the service call or for the labor required to fix the problems. We are new to the neighborhood and will certainly call him in the spring to install a new garage door. Services Rendered: Cable came loose from one side of the garage door.

I was out of town and they did all the work with no issues. I'm extremely pleased Services Rendered: Tore down an existing double wide wooden door and installed a double aluminum door. Hooked it to existing door opener.
The whole procedure went very smoothly. Eric was extremely efficient, friendly and responsive when I went out to check on his progress, which was often. He even programmed my car for the new remote. My house was built in the 1860s and the garage probably added sometime in the 1930s. I hated to lose the old wooden door that was painted to match the shutters but it was necessary and I have to admit that the new door does look very nice. I would highly recommend this small home town company - the phone staff, and John (who came to give me the estimate and explain the products) were all very friendly and helpful. They made me feel very confident about the decision I made. Services Rendered: Removed and replaced old wooden garage door with a new Buildmark Steel Pan Door. The springs and rails were also replaced with new ones. Although it wasn't absolutely necessary I had them replace the 22 year old opener at the same time. All the old parts were taken away and the area cleaned up.
