Had a great experience dealing with Hudson valley Overhead Doors. I've had them service my door in the past but this time was to install a new door. Lynn made the process so easy from measuring to ordering to the install. The installation tech Chad that came out was amazing.....he was meticulous about his work.He made installing this door look effortless. You just knew he was doing this a long time and enjoys what he's doing. Great company to deal with. Would highly recommend them.
Great service, responsiveness & value. My overhead garage door spring & cable broke on Monday morning. HVOD sent a great technician on Tuesday who replaced both springs & cables at a fair price. Highly recommend them!
I bought a model home and my garage was serviced to program my keypad and the track was off balance. Then it stopped responding to remote.... "A boss" told me I was covered as my home was never lived in. At time of being serviced for the second issue, a cable (spectrum) tech , also was on site doing new install , and could not figure out how to make it work...so he blamed a surge which was later debunked. Now I am being charged for same bogus "surge" causing the unit to not work????? and I am not covered on a home never lived in,... and was serviced by them a month ago.... Wow!!' Last I checked they had the contract for the whole development. Disappointing to move into a beautiful new development only to have all of the greed by people who already got paid. Expected, sadly.
Frank/Lynn and their team did an excellent job in communication, pricing and installation. Thoughtful folks with excellent follow through. I would highly recommend.

Excellent service & installation. They easily installed the door using my old garage door opener, when another company insisted I purchase a new one. Pricing was very fair.
I called Hudson Valley Overhead Doors about an issue with the old wooden garage door and opener (that must have been 30+ years old). They quoted me options on repair or replacement. Their replacement quote was fair, so I went with replacement. The replacement was done within a week of the estimate, and they did an excellent job (even taking into account the uneven cement floor on one side, there is still no gap whatsoever to let elements or mice in). I highly recommend their work.
I was very pleased with the service I received from Hudson Valley Overhead Doors. Not only was the office staff pleasant and knowledgeable, I was able to get an appointment right away. The technician came to my house at the time he was expected, and the work was completed efficiently and perfectly. I also thought the rates were very reasonable.
