I have been dealing with Overhead Door of Central Jersey for 40 years and they have never disappointed me. From the time I call for service or a new product, their personnel are very understanding and professional. This last visit was to replace my 2 garage door openers as the ones purchased from them in 1987 had seen their day and were ready for newer technology. The tech, Scott Meister, who did the installation was extremely personable, informative andr did a great job. After completion, he took the time to answer any questions that I maight have had. We picked the coldest day of the year to have our new door replaced and let me tell you it was cold but Ricky didn't let that slow him down. Ricky worked like a champ. Highly motivated and I highly recommend him for your new door or repairs. Ask for him by name, you won't be disappointed. Oh and the door is beautiful, the opener is quiet.

Scott M of Overhead Door company of Central Jersey came out today to fix one of three garage doors that would not close and was very wobbly in its movement. Scott immediately assessed the problem of not closing all the way with the safety eyes and then turned his attention to what was causing the back-and-forth movement of the door from the screw drive. A spring had broken on that door on one side, and instead of replacing the spring, since it broke at the very end, the homeowner (me) had simply reattached the spring. The problem was that the event had severely weakened the spring and causing the door to wobble from uneven springs on each side. With the approval he replaced both springs, pulleys, hardware etc. and the door is back to working as designed. Scott also informed me that the motor was 22 years old and would not last forever and we both agreed that with less weight on the motor I might be lucky and get a little bit extra time before it totally fails. Have used Overhead Door of Central Jersey for 22 years. (they did the original install when the house was new.) and they have always been honest with their recommendations, workmanship and pricing.

Keven and Angelo from Overhead Door were fantastic. They were prompt and helpful, not only installing the motor, but fixing the door tracks themselves that were not installed right by the builder. They also took the time to program my car garage door opener and helped with the code setup. Definitely would recommend this company.

We have been customers of Overhead Door Company of Central New Jersey for many years as our 23 year old home came with Overhead garage doors and openers. Over the years we have had the doors serviced (lubrication, springs) though due to age we needed new rubber buffers to seal the bottom of the doors keeping debris out of our garage. I called for service and Ally at the front desk suggested I might want to consider new doors. I agreed as we were thinking of upgrading the look of our current doors, though were unsure of the cost. She connected me with Carl, our product specialist. Carl was a pleasure to work with and provided us with many options and helped us decide on those that would benefit us most. We also upgraded our openers with this project. Ordering was easy, and in about 4 weeks our doors had arrived. Steve contacted me and made scheduling the installation easy. He also kept in communication with me up to the appointment. The technical team of Ricky, Jay and Robert came promptly at the scheduled time and by noon we had three beautiful new garage doors and very quite openers in operation. These gentlemen did an outstanding job! Everything worked as expected and they even took additional time to explain all of the features of our new system and insure we were comfortable with all aspects of the job and system operations. The results are outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The attached photos demonstrate the improvement to the look of our home. Coming full circle Carl reached out for our comments on the project. I would recommend the team at Overhead Door Company of Central New Jersey without reservation. Our installation project comprised doors for three separate structures. In addition to a conventional garage were a limited depth, low roof workshop and a shed, each requiring differing installations whilst providing a consistent exterior face. I called this company after much investigation into all types and manufacturers of garage doors and after meeting with some other garage door companies. I was in sales in my career, and I have to say, Derek was a great sales person - deftly explained all the benefits and answered/overcame all my objections. AND he arrived fully prepared with real-size samples of door panels and colors. And I was equally impressed with the skilled installer Ricky who deftly removed my old doors and installed the new ones like it was no big deal. These folks did a great job for us - a good customer experience from start to finish. They answered the call right away, and were better than 2 other competitors on the phone. I decided to have them come out and do the job. The person came, was well prepared, and had a couple of options. We went over it, and then there was a misunderstanding about us having two doors, so he had to come back. They came back the next day and all was seamless, and we were charged a fair and reasonable price for the service. And the new garage door hinges look great! Major storm with a lightning strike right next to the house fried my garage door opener, generator automatic transfer switch, cable boxes, and home theater electronics. John from Overhead Door Co Of Central Jersey came out within a couple of days and replaced the circuit board of the door opener, lubed the door, and reprogrammed all the openers. He was very knowledgeable about the opener and the components, was efficient and cheerful. Highly recommend this company.

Carl, Ricky and Peter were absolutely the best garage door company I have ever used. I accidentally hit my garage door with my car and Carl was at my house to provide an estimate within a couple of hours. The team (Ricky and Peter) came to install the doors in 4 days, new track and opener all done in a half day. I've purchased parts from them on several occasions and did fine, but when I needed service over the weekend, they were slow to respond. The office closes early, 4 PM, and while they're staffed on Saturday, no one could help me with my garage door problem. They finally called me back--hours after I found another contractor who fixed my issue in less than 45 minutes. If you need service, I'd try another company first.
