The repairman was on time and very kind. Diagnosed my problem within minutes. Repair was done in 30 minutes. I have not been able to use my door for a month. Very grateful and would highly recommend.

Can't speak highly enough of the process and the company...from the initial estimate to the final install everything was quite timely and reasonably priced. I'd had them come out 10 years ago and the tech gave me some tips that prolonged the life of that door and saved me a good bit. Honesty like that is why I came back when it was time to purchase a news door.

GDO's service is 2nd to nobody. The GDO team arrived early for our appointment, they were up front with recommendations and quickly resolved my broken spring and garage door motor. To those complaining about their service fee because they were only at your house for a few minutes: you're not paying for their time, you're paying for their knowledge. Would you be happy if they spent 4 hours on site instead of 15 minutes?
The technicians were nice but were literally at my house one minute! One minute and I get a charge of $115. Wish I had read the other review on here before using them. Shame.
They are great. See details above. Services Rendered: I have used them twice but did not write a review the first time. The first the spring broke and the door would not work. They came out the next day and fixed it quickly and the guy was very nice. Fast, efficient, and friendly. Very Happy. The second time was just yesterday. My door had be having trouble rising all the way. some times it would, some times it would rise about a foot and stop. The lady on the phone was very nice and suggested i try a simple fix before I paid them to come out. She was exactly right. Fixed my own problem in 5 minutes for free!!!! She could have sent out a crew and charged me $100 and I wouldn't have known any different. Big thanks to her. If I ever have any garage door problems, this is who I am choosing. No doubts!!!!
Third time I have used GDO in Teays Valley. Quality work all three times. Third job today was a no call no show. My wife called and they informed her the tech was running late. Tech arrived and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. 20 at most. No parts installed. Just Labor. Cost was $115 plus tax. And we live within 2 miles of their shop. No indication on invoice of cost per hour, stop fee, nothing. Just a clean $115 for 20 minutes (maximum). They do good work. Just be aware, garage door repairs from them will be a minimum of $115. Last two jobs were over $300 each but required some parts, so a little easier to justify. They know garage doors, but I suggest attempting a "do it yourself" on YouTube if you are handy.

It was a good experience. This is a family operated business. Three generations. They could be a bit more friendly or what I would call good business manners. I would have to ask all of the questions. They did not provide advice or give information that I think would have been helpful to me without asking. They were good workers and know what they are doing and installations was good. The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been for them to have cleaned up as though they had never been in my garage. I had to sweep up their mess after they left. Garage Door Operators came and gave me an estimate quickly. Service was courteous, prompt and they answered all my questions. Would definitely use them again! Services Rendered: My old garage door just finally quit after numerous repairs.
The technician, Chad, arrived about 3:30. He got right to work and did a lot of work in a very short time. I think he was done in about 20 minutes. He even bent back the dented part I had hit with my car, which was cosmetic and not required of him. He was very efficient and proficient, and nice, too. So, I was more than happy with the service. I would have liked to pay less, of course, but I would imagine it's the going rate or better. From another review, I was expecting $150, so I wasn't really upset with $102. And seeing that I couldn't leave my house until I could get the door down, time is money and that made it worth it. Overall, I'm happy with the job this company did for me and I would do business with them again. Services Rendered: Service was $97, plus tax, for a total of $102. This was an emergency repair. My garage door stopped before it was all the way up and I couldn't see it. So I backed out as usual and hit it with my car. Then it was stuck and wouldn't go down. I tried to fix it myself first, so it was 9am, or close to it, when I called for service. The lady was very nice. She said the technician wouldn't be available until the afternoon and gave me a probable window of noon to 4pm. Seeing that I didn't call until around 9 and they were going to get someone out the same day, I consider that excellent responsiveness.
OK Services Rendered: Two manual lift garage doors installed. Price was higher than expected but I didn't shop around. Time in between deposit and installation was longer than expected. Installation was good quality but the crew left screws laying about that could have easily punctured a tire.
