Very disappointed, I used this company to install a new door years ago and again to fix a broken spring. I have been happy with them until today. Garage door wouldn't stay down so I called and they came out the next day. One person and and a second one in training. They were here for 1/2 hour, adjusted the spring tensions, lubricated where appropriate and serviced the settings on the motor. $633.58....what a rip off, never calling them again

Waited for six hours for a tech to show Jeremy never did. This was after three changes in times. No I would not be interested in rescheduling. Services Rendered: Door lifter didn't work.

Frank and his wife serviced my garage doors and also re-programmed the remotes. He lubricated both doors, checked hinges, rollers, and springs. I thought I might need rollers but he said they were fine and he didn't want to sell me something I didn't need. It's tough finding friendly, professional, honest people these days to work on your home, autos, etc. I will definitely call Elite Garage Door again if I have any problems with my doors and will be recommending him to friends and family. Services Rendered: Garage doors were squeaking and sound like they were rubbing somewhere.

They referred us to the garage door mfr, who refused coverage because we did not follow the warranty process in repairing the door. Although Elite Garage Door gave us no options other than being trapped in our house the week of Christmas until they got off vacation, they have accepted no responsibility to cover our costs. Services Rendered: They installed our garage door with a lifetime guarantee on the door, including the spring. It failed a few days before Christmas, with both cars inside a garage door that couldn't be opened. We called them to repair, they had a message saying they were off the week of Christmas, call back, no abiity to leave a message or get help with our failed door. We had to call another company in to fix the door, and follow up with Elite after Christmas to pursue cost coverage under warranty.

This is the second home where Frank and Ida have upgraded my garage door openers, rails, and in the first house, the door. This time, they modified both doors' rail systems to a high-lift format, and installed two Liftmaster 8500W direct-drive openers. The service was just as top notch as it was the first time, the doors open beautifully and nearly silently. I really couldn't be happier with the results and they are wonderful to work with. I won't hesitate to rely on them for the next garage! Services Rendered: New high-lift garage door rail systems and direct-drive openers

Cannot say enough good things about Elite and the service Frank and Rita provided. My door simply stopped working one morning, so I checked reviews and decided to give Elite a try. When I had the door PM'ed several years ago, another company's technician told me it was a heavy door and that I'd probably have opener motor problems in the future. When Frank and Rita arrived - on time - they sized things up and said the door weight and balance were fine. He diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and I paid about $30 for a new one. They then did PM on both my doors, adding brackets and supports that should have been installed during original installation. Also installed a new outdoor keypad which was sorely needed. I don't often submit reviews but in this case Elite's work warrants high marks.

replaced garage door/opener Services Rendered: Frank was absolutely great to work with and I would highly recommend him. The price was fair and the work was done very well. We couldn’t be more pleased with our new door and can’t believe how quiet the new setup is.

Frank and Elite Garage Door Service are a great company to do business with. They recently replaced our garage door opener, installed new springs and made several adjustments. The door is working great now and we are very pleased with their workmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend their company for future garage door work.

Initially met Frank via Angie's List because my garage door had gotten out of alignment and the photo eyes needed to be adjusted. I scheduled a total of three companies to provide repair estimates. One company did not show up, the second company showed up on time, but were not trustworthy recommending to replace parts like the rollers and spring that were not faulty. When I called them on it, they countered by offering to cut $100 off the repair price, which is when I asked them to leave. So when Frank showed up to inspect the garage door, I was on guard and determined to not be taken advantage of. Frank was nothing like the previous company. He was knowledgeable and had no problem diagnosing the issues. Then he clearly explained the issues to me and answered all of my questions. He quickly made the repairs and I was a happy customer because I felt like I got a fair price. So when my garage door started acting up again, Frank was the only person that I called. Just like before, Frank was great and provided a fair price to replace my 14-year old Overhead garage opener with a top-of-the-line Liftmaster. In my two experiences, Frank has demonstrated integrity and great customer service. When anyone asks me for a recommendation on who to call to get their garage door or opener repaired or a new one installed I will always recommend Frank.

Called Elite and they were able to come out same day. Frank quickly identified the problem and presented options for repair or replacement. He clearly explained the pros and cons of each. I went with the replacement motor unit which he had on his truck. This is a quality product with excellent features. Frank and his helper took their time on the installation which was perfect - true craftsmanship and care. Frank took time to explain exactly what he did with the replacement and why and talk me through the new functions. Everything is working well. I have confidence in Franks quality workmanship and knowledge and would definately use Elite again! Services Rendered: Garage door opener motor failed

Frank was extremely knowledgeable, answering all questions and separate from the work he was hired to do helping to resolve a long-standing issue we've had with our garage door popping when opening it after it's been sitting for a while. This the same issue that another garage door company wasn't able to troubleshoot. In addition to doing an excellent job completing the work he was hired to do, he also went above and beyond by adjusting the lower photo eyes to conform to code and bolting the track for added stability. We will hire again anytime we have garage door/opener needs! Services Rendered: Replace bottom rubber and tune-up both doors and operators.

He said he could write up an assessment of the damage for the insurance company but he could not in good conscience recommend a new door, it wasn't warranted! It is rare to see such integrity. My door looks beautiful -- and my faith in humanity has been restored! If only Frank had an air conditioning company and sold used cars, I really be set lol! Thank you Frank, Ida and team! Called elite garage door service inc. and Frank, the owner answered the call. We talked about what I needed, the cost and set up an appointment to do the work. Frank himself shows up in his company marked truck with the correct garage door opener and proceeded to do the work. The cost was what he said it would be at the time the appointment was made and he threw in a keypad to get in the garage from the outside when not in your car. Frank also lubricated the door wheel guides so the door would not squeak going up and down. He checked the sensors and helped me link one of our cars to the opener. His attention to detail, pride in his work and he knows exactly what he’s doing was very apparent to me. The result is we have the best and most quiet garage door we’ve had in the 25 years we’ve had our house. Bottom line, if you find these kinds of sole proprietors, pass the word and keep using them. Cautionary word to the consumer......make sure you hire the correct company as there is a garage door company out there that uses part of another company’s name to make you think they are somebody they’re not. If this happens and they show up and then you find out who they really are, turn them away. Services Rendered: Garage door opener replacement

Called late Friday afternoon and they had someone come out around noon on Saturday. Eric was a very professional and knowledgable technician who got my garage door operational in very reasonable time which was about 45 minutes. Prices were fair and I would recommend Elite Garage Door services for all your garage door needs.

We had two doors installed (1 single and 1 double). Frank did a good job of explaining the options and trade-offs. i prepared a detailed comparison of three companies and the options and prices offered by Elite Garage Door Service won out. The doors were delivered on time and the service technicians were courteous. We are very happy with the results.

The technician that serviced my garage door seemed to be very knowledgeable and had very up front answers to my questions and concerns. He was also professional and well mannered. I would highly recommend Elite Garage Door Service and when the time comes, will use them again.
