Google5Access Garage Door is an exceptional company! They came to my rescue after a different company did a poor installation 3 years earlier and it really messed up my garage door. Access Garage Door promptly send a technician who spent an hour performing a 25 point safety inspection on my door. Several problems were identified from the earlier botched installation. He both showed me the problem areas and explained everything thoroughly. Three days later the work/repair was done. The difference after the repair is amazing! It's almost like I have a new garage door. I highly recommend Access Garage Door!

Google5My online request for an appointment was responded to promptly by my local folks in Chattanooga. Ryan, the technician, was right on time and had let me know he was on his way. He was friendly and professional. He checked my system thoroughly and explained his findings and my options. After we decided on a course of action, he completed the work efficiently. I am very satisfied with his work! And, for all that was done, the price was good, too.

Google5My experience with Access Garage was professional from beginning to finish: urgent and courteous. I was surprised with how quickly they were able to get us taken care of. Ryan, who installed our new garage door openers, did an excellent job! I recommend this company.

Google5We recently remodeled our home and when it came down to new garage doors we shopped around and found that Access Garage doors of Chattanooga (Hixon ) had the best price. We went in and talked with Christopher and he explained all the options and was very knowledgeable. The scheduling went very well and Tim and his helper came out and installed the doors let me add that he took pride in his work paying attention to details. We would highly recommend you giving them a call or go in person and see the great displays they have Thanks to all at Access Garage Doors!!!

BBB1Access Garage Doors of Hixson. Last year I bought two brand new doors almost $4000. This weekend I damaged the molding backing my boat in. I called and said how can I get a piece of that molding trim cause I damaged it, And the guy said well we don’t sell molding over the counter I said I know that or that’s OK I just need to know where I can get a replacement. He says I don’t know you have to Google it. Our mounding comes with the Doors. If you want us to do some thing you have to schedule an appointment someone will have to come out and give you an estimate and most likely you have to replace all the strips so they match. I said I just want one strip I can replace it myself. And the guy said well we don’t do that and I said so pretty much I’m on my own on this he said yeah I guess so. I just wanted to capture this conversation because this is an example of a company who has poor service after the sale. no help at all on acquiring a little molding strip. These guys are just in it for the money. Look elsewhere for a company with good service.

Yelp5I tried to save money and troubleshoot our malfunctioning garage door myself. It was going up only part way and going right back down. After looking at videos, I thought it needed a simple adjustment to the chain which had too much slack in it. I tightened it and thought I'd fixed it and saved having to call a service person. But after a few days, it went back to failing to open again. Finally, and during a cold time in December, I called Access for a service call. The tech came promptly when he was scheduled, examined the operation of the garage door opener and sadly determined that a control in the unit was malfunctioning and would have to be replaced. He was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the opener and explained everything to me thoroughly. He also was very friendly. The cost was significantly higher than when we built the house 18 years ago, but we are very satisfied with the quality work that he did. He even offered to inspect, lube and adjust our second garage door opener at no additional charge. I highly recommend Access Garage Doors of Chattanooga to anyone who needs a garage door, a garage door opener or service to their existing equipment.

Yelp5I had Access Garage Doors replace my top panel in my door with one that had windows. From time of order to installation was 3 weeks. Ken was efficient and timely on getting the panel installed. The price was higher than I expected but we are very happy with the results.

Yelp1First time we used this company it was great. The second time was a disaster. Had an appointment for a week and a service time between noon and 6 p.m. No problem with that other than it seemed a long window of time but no complaint. Received a call from the technician about 4:30 p.m. that he was on the way. Just fine. Then, minutes later, a call from the office tthat the technician was stuck in traffic. So could we reschedule? THIS WAS AFTER WE WAITED ALL DAY and we had the appointment for over a week. The office referred us to the owner who could not have been less customer oriented if he tried. Instead of sending someone else or making sure we had service, he was more concerned that his company trucks were back by 6 .m. He did not care that we had been waiting a week nor all day. He was very defensive and rude. Apparently, he is not concerned about losing customers or maybe he skipped that particular training due to arrogance.

Yelp5Last night, I noticed the bracket that attaches one of my garage door openers to the door was tearing away. Due to excellent reviews on Yelp, I decided to call Access Garage Doors to see if they could help me. Being a Friday morning I didn't think the chances were good that they would come out until next week. Surprisingly, their technician Ben arrived at my house at 1:20. Ben is a very nice, polite and impressive young man who finished my job within an hour. He also noticed my other door had a similar condition, so he installed a new bracket on that door as well. Ben checked over both doors and they are both working great now. The price was very fair and their response could not have been better. Thank you Access Garage Doors and thank you Ben. I highly recommend them.

Angi5A service / repair person responded promptly. He examined the door and offered solutions. I elected to purchase a new door. The installation crew arrived the next day. The new door was installed promptly, all debris cleaned up and the old door taken away. All persons were courteous and completely professional. Yelp5When I requested quotes, I received about 6 and they were all for the most part, competitive and responsive. The quotes were around $125 to $175 to install the Craftsman .75hp belt driven Garage Door Opener system. One proposal was $200 to $400, which I did not consider. I want to them all for responding so quickly. I chose this company because they were one of the lowest and responded the first day and when I called them, they answered my questions. The actual cost was about $150. I sent them pics of the garage and door and they called back and told me specifically what else would be needed for installation and I agreed. Chris showed up on time, took the time to do the installation right and made the modifications to strengthen the metal door. He also had to align the rails and make other adjustments, which he showed me were installed incorrectly, which he fixed. Based on his knowledge and watching him do the work, I would have regretted doing this myself. Bottom line; I was very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them for any garage door work.

Angi3They would only either send someone out to give me an estimate for a new door or send someone out to fix my current door for a minimum of $75 and then $75 for each hour after that. They couldn't just send someone out to look at my door and give me a quote Services Rendered: Needed garage door fixed.

Angi5This is the third time I have done business with Access Door, an new door opener in 2013(see review), a new garage door in 2015 & a new garage door on my metal building last week. The quality of their products & services, are absolutely the very best! From the time you call to inquire about a new product, or to have service to repair your existing product, they are on it with friendly professional employees. In 2015, we decided to replace our low grade contractor garage door with a new raised panel insulated one. We went to the their showroom in Hixson to look at models of insulated doors & window options that we could choose from. We ordered a certain window design, and within a couple weeks, our new door was installed by one of their friendly service teams. We were so impressed how smooth the whole process went. So, this year we decided to put a garage door on a metal building I had built. Without hesitation, we called Access to come out see our options for a new door. Once again, they gave recommendations for available door sizes and prices. I requested to have a door with the exact look as the door on my garage that they installed in 2015. After Jon got the measurements of my opening, I ordered the new Clopay door with the same great Liftmaster 8500 WiFi opener, that my other garage door has. Within 3 weeks the new door was installed. Each time we have done business with Access, it has been a real pleasure & we absolutely love our new doors and openers. Are there other companies in our area that that offer less expensive garage doors? Probably so, but their products & service will not match what you can get from Access Door. Yelp4My spring broke on my garage door yesterday. I called in the afternoon and ask about a replacement. The next day before lunch two gentleman come by and replaced the spring and made sure the door worked correctly. They completed the work in no time. They were very helpful.

Angi5They did a good job and I am happy with the final outcome. Just that it was more expensive than I planned. Services Rendered: I regret going through Angie's list. I wanted my garage door fixed and saw that they had a $75 tune up. I should have just called them directly. Because when they came out not only did it cost me your $75 but I had to pay for installation of a new garage door opener on top of the $75, it cost me $400 something. If I just called the company I wouldn't have probably paid the $75. That is my regret.
