This was one of the most pleasant home repair calls that I have ever had. Eric got out the same day and replaced both my springs. He also made adjustments on the door that smoothed out the tracking. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I called on January 4th with the hope of scheduling an appointment for an estimate. Mr Eric was able to come out the same day and was very polite informative and professional. He did not try sell me anything that I didn't need and very honest with what he felt that would be best. He called later the same day and said he could get our garage door installed the very next day. He was in fact ahead of schedule and had our door installed in a very short period of time. The professionalism and timeliness of Affordable Garage Doors is top rate. I will definitely call them again if we ever need anything for repairs or if we need a new Garage door. I highly recommend this company. They are local and family run and their prices are the best around even more than that is the quality of their work is top notch.
I called at around 0900 to try to get someone out to repair the broken door spring. The rep I spoke with was very pleasant and professional and said they were booked today but could come first thing the next morning. As we were ending the call, he said that he might be able to get to me depending on how his current appointments went. At about 1045, he called again to say he could be there in half an hour. He came and had the job done in less than one hour. He also lubed the rollers and opener screw drive, and the door now is much quieter than before. Very friendly, courteous, and professional service. This is just a great company that provides excellent service. A friend recommended Affordable Overhead when I needed a new garage door. Eric from AOD immediately came to my house, measured and gave me several options to choose from. The quote was the best I got from all other local companies. When they arrived to install, they reviewed my order and immediately went to work. Very professional and respectful of the home owner. Finished product exceeded expectations. This is one company I can recommend without hesitation.
I needed service on my garage door and a new wireless entry pad. I was very pleased with Eric, his service, and his work. I would recommend him to anyone needing garage door service. His company was way better priced than the "name brand" in the market. I shopped before I called him. He responded and scheduled me within two days for service.
Eric was great. I had shopped the "big boys" and was not happy with the prices they quoted nor were they friendly on the phone. Affordable Overhead was friendly on the phone and got me scheduled immediately. Their pricing was significantly better than the competitors. I am 100% satisfied. Really enjoyed working them. Had a spring break. By the next morning Eric had it working. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. He also "tuned up" my garage door to make sure everything was in good shape. Would highly recommend the company to anyone that needs a door repaired or a new door.
Eric was FANTASTIC! My husband broke our door on a Thursday at 8am when we were rushing to get out of the house. It was off the track and the cable was totally popped off and the rails on either side were bent and damaged. I thought it was a total loss. I ran home after our appointment around 9:30a and the door had just been open for that hour and a half. We live in a safe neighborhood, but still - it just was a safety issue. I looked here on Angie's List and found a bunch of companies. I happened to click on Affordable Overhead Door because I saw another review saying they'd been able to come out same-day. I called around 10am and Eric was able to come out in 15 minutes! He was prompt, professional, and kind. He explained what had happened and everything he was going to do. He spend about 45 minutes or so repairing the issues and also lubricated the door and motor parts. We did damage the door quite a bit, so this is a temporary fix, but they were so great that we will get our new door and motor from them. Our motor is ok, I'd just prefer the increased security measures on the technology rich newer models. We are repurposing our current motor somewhere else. All in all, it was fantastic service, incredibly fast and efficient, and Eric was professional and a good teacher. Very happy with the serendipity of calling them. The service call was $95. I also got a quote for the new double-walled steel insulated door and motor. It will be ~$1800 because I am buying my own motor, which is ok by them! Fast, competent, thorough and a great value. I had a broken spring replaced by Affordable Overhead Door company and I was extremely satisfied with the service I received. Eric, their service technician, made sure the spring was properly installed and adjusted. He also checked, adjusted and lubricated the door to insure proper operation in the future. I was very satisfied with his professionalism and competence. I will use this company for my future garage door needs and highly recommend them.

Eric was our service tech. He was excellent reattached garage door opener, replaced worn cable and return to install motor and motor control. John returned my call within a couple hours and came out the next afternoon. Fixed the door problem quickly and insured the same problem wouldn't happen again. Lubricated the key points of the door to,keep it running smoothly. Provided and programmed a new remote after determining that my existing one couldn't be repaired. Called ahead 30 minutes prior to arrival, arrived within promised appointment window, completed take-away of old opener and installation of new, including keypad outside and opener inside. The kit only came with one remote opener for the car, but he included a second, universal opener for my spouse's vehicle. He answered questions professionally, discussed maintenance and warranty, and features (LiftMaster MyQ home automation and smartphone app). They replaced our tension springs several years back, and we were happy with their work and prices, so we went back to Overhead for this job.
