A very frustrating experience to say the least... Needed a full two car garage door replacement and OHD's 'experienced and tenured' sales rep arrived and wrote me up for a new door with the same dimensions and color that we previously had. Seemed pretty easy and seamless. Door arrived 4 weeks later and was installed only to find out that it was the wrong shade of tan which was selected by said sales rep. Another door of the correct color needed to be ordered, so that was going to take another 4-5 weeks. Fast forward, new door finally came in with the correct color. Door was installed and one of the panels on the door was damaged with bubbling and dents on the surface. That particular panel would need to be replaced. Fast forward again 5 weeks now, the new panel is still not in. It will be in next week making the total time to replace a garage door correctly roughly 4 months. Terrible experience and lack of proactive communication. I'll be going elsewhere for my garage doors in the future.

We paid $~2,000 on 01/10/25 to have our garage door replaced. On 02/07/25 it won’t open all of the way. While I understand they didn’t replace the opener, they did have to hook it up to the opener and should have been able to see if there was an issue with the opener. They will not even come out to look without me paying the $170 service fee. Terrible customer service and we are 1 mile from their office off of 747. I do not recommend for the price and service.

I updated my review after four months. Please read to the end to see the updated text. The sales rep, Michael R was outstanding! I had issues with my current 25 year old charge door. I had a guy from another company come out to fix it but I asked him to leave after hearing his prices. Then I worked on the door myself with parts I purchased on the internet. It didn’t go well (at least nobody was hurt)! So my wife and I decided to look for new doors. We shopped at three local companies and quotes were similar. Yet, Michael was the real difference in our experience. During our visit to Overhead Door’s showroom, Michael went over the many door options they carried and gave us the pros/cons of the different options. He did not try to up-sell us on anything. He seemed so genuine and trustworthy we decided to pursue doors from their Courtyard collection and a new opener. Michael came to our house today to measure our doors and give us the written quote. While here he worked diligently on my old door, in this June heat, to get it to open/close for us. I appreciate this immensely. My old door was stuck half open. I thought it was going to be that way until the new doors came in. I will update this review with a pic of the new doors once they are installed. Hope Michael sees this review: I can’t thank him enough. After the installers left, I noticed a number of problems with the doors. I called Overhead Doors back and when I mentioned there were issues with the doors, they transferred my call to a lady. She did not speak English very well but suggested that I send her videos (see attached). This was in August of 2024. She did not reply to my videos so I text her to inquire and she finally replied that the panels would need to be ordered. In November, I text her again to ask about the replacement order and she replied they are still on order. It’s now December and I’ve heard nothing. In addition to the original issues, one door has a panel that separated from the adjacent panel. There’s now a gap that shows the inside white color from outside the door.

Installed garage doors in our new build. One of them has never worked- doesn't go up. They have been out 3 or 4 times without resolution. Most recently we scheduled them two additional times to come out and they simply didn't show up. Doesn't help being under warranty if I can't get them to give me a functional door. Do not recommend.

Called them to come replace a broken spring. The lady who scheduled the service call was fantastic and super nice. 2 techs showed up and the one, dale, was very rude. He was complaining about how his truck was in the shop so he had no parts and had to drive all the way back to west Chester to get it. When they returned he became angry with me bc the bulb in the over head light was burned out and he "cant work in the dark. Should've just scheduled this for a different day ". I offered stand alone contractor lights and he stated those will blind him. He then became nasty bc the things in the garage were "in his way. Can't work like this" so he told me i needed to move everything out of the garage. Bikes, grill, storage bins etc. I'm giving 2 stars only bc the other tech was friendly and professional and my door is fixed. However, the way this guy made me feel uncomfortable in my own home is unacceptable. He also mentioned that my time slot of 12-5 is ridiculous bc they start at 630a so by 2pm they've already hit their hours for the day

Josh, 'The Irishman' came to fix our garage door opener and ended up replacing it.. He explained everything from start to finish and programed our cars and new devices!! Excellent work and value!!

Company installed a door opener for me last year. In the past 9 months, I needed two adjustments. The company was quick to respond under warranty. I highly recommend Overhead Door. They stand behind their product and workmanship.

We had a double spring replacement on our garage door. Ever since the door has been making very loud screeching sounds and now doesn't always want to go down. We called for someone to come out and check their work and were told that since it's been more than 30 days since the repair they would charge $150 for the first 30min of coming out.... Absolutely shameful. We hired them to come out and fix our door only for them to make it worse.... And now they won't even come out and back their own work ... Looks like we will need to hire a different company that has dignity in their work and making sure their customers are happy with that work .. Overhead Door does NOT and has the audacity to charge $150 just for 30min of inspecting their mistake and then saying if they determine there is a problem from their work done, they will charge to fix that on top of the $150.... Shameful shameful, and very much greedy and scam like behavior.
