I had another company come out and they wanted to gouge me. Alert sent Chris out and he was not only professional, he told me "you don't need new equipment I'll fix you up." ...and he did. I'm a new home owner, and he could have taken advantage of me, but he didn't. I find that very refreshing. I will be recommending you to others.

Such a seamless process to get our garage fixed! Alert door was ready to help us out from the moment they answered the phone. They helped identify the problem and scheduled our repair as soon as we were available. To top things off, Dan's knowledge, attention to detail and friendly disposition on the day of the repair made the experience even better! The team of Dan, Chris and Kathy were absolutely awesome. We had Alert Door repair our 50yr+ garage door 2x in the past with great results, stretching the life of our original door. But after our door turned 52 yrs old we decided to purchase something new. We picked an 18' Clopay door (which is an odd size). Dan was very patient and even measured our door 2x to be perfectly sure of the measurements. We ordered the door, which came in in about a month or so then set up an install day with Kathy. Dan & Chris, were prompt, meticulous and thorough in making sure that we were happy with our install. 5 stars every day of the week!

It went great! Chris was on time on the day of the appointment and examined the door opener. He determined it needed to be replaced due to it's age and gave us a very good price. We agreed and he started to work on it immediately. The installation went very quick and afterwards he took a lot of time to explain the different operations. He even helped me program the transmitter in my car. He cleaned everything up and also took the old opener away. We've always had Alert Door work on our garage door problems. My garage door spring broke a couple days before Christmas. I figured I would wait to contact someone until after Christmas to avoid any potential extra charges. My brother used Alert for the same issue and said they did a great job, so I sent them an email on Christmas evening with a picture of the broken spring, expecting to get a call back the next morning. They emailed me back less than five minutes later on Christmas! I got a call the next morning (presumably when they opened) to set up a time for Chris to come out and fix things. He came within the time range they gave me, and I got a call about 15-20 minutes before he arrived. Chris was a really nice guy, extremely courteous and very efficient. Jim Welch came out to fix one garage door with broken springs which he did quickly and efficiently. He also repaired another single door that had a bent hinge. Services Rendered: Replaced both torsion springs and rollers on a double garage door.
