Paul was fantastic. Helped us repair and salvage two old wood doors I thought were dead. He put in extra work for no charge and saved us a bunch of money not needing new doors, saving a piece of history. 75+ year old doors running like new. Couldn't be happier.

Very happy with installer John who came today on Christmas Eve! Convenient on-line scheduling, and really wonderful that he came with a truck full off equipment and was able to install a new motor from me on the spot. Will definitely use these guys again!

Excellent service! John, the technician, arrived before scheduled time. He was very professional. Explained everything and made sure I understood & answered all my questions. He was even nice enough to help bring in a couple of heavy boxes that FedEx left outside at my front door.

I called to have my garage door repaired, I stressed to the tech I couldn't afford a new door. Tech said it was only way to fix it. Told I needed to put 50% down to get the door ordered. Tech told me I could use door it meantime, it jammed the first time. They get it closed and tell me it cant be used. Couple weeks later my install is going to happen but they ordered the wrong door, they didn't realize until they brought the door to my house. Tell me 2-3 weeks for expedited door. Tech tells me I can use door in meantime, jams the first time. They get it closed again and tell me it cant be used. 5 weeks(mid November) later I complain that I need to use my garage door so they send a senior technician and he gets my OLD door working in 10 minutes, which is what I wanted... and asked for. Their "mission" is why replace your old door when you can repair your old. In reality its the opposite. So just be careful when these folks say you HAVE to have a new door. The door is installed and it works nicely but a bumpy road

Great experience from beginning to end. I scheduled the appointment through web chat, was emailed confirmation, along with a pic and info on technician that would be coming. Z called and met me know he was on his way, was knowledgeable and friendly, and made the entire process as easy as I could hope for. I will not hesitate using this company again, and will recommend to friends and family.

Paul was awesome! He called to see if I wanted an earlier time to stop by (yes! Worked out better for me!), called when he had trouble finding the house (new build and not on maps correctly) and then professionally shook my hand and greeted me took arrival. He ended up replacing a garage door opener and work efficiently for one hour and got it done. Super nice guy that knows what he is talking about and ensures customer satisfaction. We are planning on having him back to do our other door soon.

We had a great experience with Precision Doors! They came recommended by a friend and will be passing them along to others! They came same day to do our garage repair and were knowledgeable and kind. They gave us a breakdown of what was necessary immediately and additional long term options for service and maintenance but were not pushy with trying to make us buy anything we weren't interested. Highly recommend!

I chose Precision Door because of the massive number of positive reviews, and I must say that they lived up to them and MORE. The young woman who answered the phone (I'm sorry I don't know her name. My phone was being weird, and I could not hear it) was professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly! She carefully explained the policies and procedures of having a technician come out, and when I asked if they could come out any earlier, she replied, "that is our earliest appointment, but definitely keep looking if you need something sooner. If you get an appointment, just let us know, and we'll take you off our schedule!" She was genuinely interested in getting service to me as soon as possible...even if it wasn't with them. The day of the appointment, they had an earlier opening and called to see if I was interested in that one (I was). Al came to the door with a smile and a friendly attitude. He knew what was going to need fixing EVEN BEFORE HE SAW IT. He got the parts immediately, set to work, and finished quickly! He even waived the visit fee (which they do if work needs to be done) and saved us some money! The whole experience, from start to finish, was as stress-free and pleasant is it could be! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company to ANYONE who needs service of the garage door. Thank you, Precision!

I couldn't get my garage door to work correctly and one day I couldn't get out of the garage because of this. I called Precision and within 20 minutes, someone was here. He ended up fixing something that we never thought was the problem and it is working better now than when we first got the door. Thank you Precision for your help and work ethic.

We were not satisfied. We understood that it would take up to eight weeks for the door to come in. It did and it was installed , but there was a wrong door trim color and that took about a month to come. I had to keep calling the company. We were told that the measurement was not quite level with the concrete, but they would put an extra piece of weather stripping in. That was never done although Al came and said that his job was to make sure that the customers were satisfied and happy. He came and put in a new keyhole that Paul had taken out, which he had not asked whether he should. We needed that key hole in case our car door openers don’t work. So, a new keyhole had to be ordered and that took weeks. And to this day, after several calls to Al, no weather stripping was put down. Paul said he would do it, but it never got done—we were later told that it is not their e responsibility to make it level and touch the cement. So, we have a space between the door and the cement. I did, by mistake, block their calls, but when I realized, I had a call with Brad, the manager, and he said he would send someone out which was Al. I would not recommend this company. I had to keep calling for the things to be done and finished. They promised things they did not do and they took out something they should not have taken out—and there were too many people to deal with. Just glad the door is working. Sorry we went with that company, should have waited for the other company we spoke with. Services Rendered: We needed a new garage door installed.

Don't get ripped off. I received 3 estimates for my garage door (same service) and these guys wanted to charge $1600 whereas the other guys charge $700. They were very responsive, however that does not justify the steep price they wanted to charge

Appointment was made quickly and easily. Technician John was punctual, professional and quickly diagnosed my garage door opener issue and made the replacement. New opener is excellent. John showed us how to use it and cleaned up all of his gear and the old parts. New opener is so much quieter than my old one and includes features like wi-fi access and upgraded keypad. repair a garage door Services Rendered: Very professional service call. The serviceman realigned thee citric eye and then replaced the damage rubber gasket at the bottom of the door. He then recommended that we also replace the rollers which were worn and running loudly. We agreed and the tech finished the entire job in less than an hour. The price was very reasonable as well. The garage door now operates 100% better. Highly recommended.

This is a supplemental review concerning the warranty service call to check on the unusual clicking noise. The technician came and checked out the problem. At the time of this call I was informed that this company's policy is that a service call during warranty is not covered under their warranty, and that "a service call fee may apply." If I had been aware of this policy at the time of purchase, I would not have done business with this company. Services Rendered: Originally, to replace a garage door opener. Recently, a warranty service call to check on an unusual clicking noise from the opener when it was opening the door.

I recently had a garage door opener and garage door installed by Precision Door. Prior to the order and installation, I was assured 3 times by Brad, operating manager, that the new garage door would open high enough so that I could open the door of my new hatchback. After installation, that is not the case. He sent a tech who told me that it would be too difficult to make changes now and that the garage door opener should have been installed higher. His solution was that I should back my car into the garage. He also told me that the new garage door was “rubbing” and should be fixed. Seven calls and 2 emails to Brad have been ignored. I would definitely not refer them. Services Rendered: Garage door opener and garage door installation.

The technician told my husband it would cost $800 to fix the motor, 2 new remotes and key pad. My husband said that was too high so the technician said ok, how about $600. My husband said it was still too high. The technician said let me call my manager. After the call the technician said how about $500. My husband said forget it. The technician said I drove over an hour to get here and you are not going to hire me to fix your door? I still have to charge you a service fee. We hired another company who did the same job for $295. I would never recommend this company to anyone. If you look at their web site they do not even have an email address to contact the Manager.

Precision did come out to the property to evaluate the 4th door on this garage which one of the tenants hit with their vehicle. They did so at night 9pm-10pm (there is no light in this area) and the person who inspected it was pushy. I was hesitant to buy a brand new door because our city is very picky about exterior appearance and I had an inspection coming up. The original door was no longer being manufactured and a new door would look slightly different. I felt pressured as it was late at night, I couldn't see the new doors design well, but I agreed to go along with the sale. Moments after making the purchase I realized I should probably check in with the city first to verify a new door which may not match would be allowed. I called precision door the next day AS SOON as they opened because I realized time was of the essence. A lady answered and I explained the situation to her. She said she could cancel the order (this was less than 12 hours after it was initially placed) and she did not mention anything about this being an inconvenience. I honestly don't even see how a new door order was even processed so quickly from 10pm the night before to 7am or 8 am the following day). More so, no one at Precision ever said anything about the cancellation of this order being an issue. Never! If I knew it was that huge of an issue I would have proceeded. Fast forward to the issue with the door in the first garage bay falling on my tenants car and me calling precision for a service call. They now tell me they won't come out to even look at anything without me buying a new door! And instead of being told this upfront, they stringing me along for hours when I could have been calling someone else! There was never any mention that cancelling the order on the 4th garage door was an issue! No one EVER said ANYTHING! It's like being reprimanded without ever knowing there was an issue! This is terrible customer service and bad communication! I've entirely switched to Action Door. After the debacle with Precision , I called them, replaced the first garage door springs and cables on the door that had fallen. Said there was no safety issue. (I put my tenants safety as the highest priority!) I then had Action Door replace the fourth garage door after I got the okay from the city. I contacted Precision Doors corporate office about this matter. I hope someone is looking into how they treat and deal with customers. I was a loyal customer. I work with all of my contractors to form good relationships and this really burnt a bridge!

This is terrible!! The guy convinced me I needed a new door bc too much was wrong with my old one and a new one would basically cost the same and replacing all the parts!! I believed him. I feel so taken advantage of!!! He told me everything would be brand new including my sensors since he said they were one of my issues. The only thing that was new was the door and rails. I was told I would get a call within 2 weeks to schedule. I NEVER got a call and had to call THEM Finally I got a call feom th management team all they said was they would schedule a time to come back and then didn't call me back. They are thieves and liars!!

DO NOT recommend this company, especially if you are elderly!!!. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are very deceitful in their practices. I was charged a service charge when I was told with repair there is no service charge. They did additional work (greased the mechanisms) and did not advise they were charging for it, more so acted like it was part of the spring tightening. Did not let me see the invoice for the charges just had me sign. When asked why the total was so high I was ignored. I filed a complaint and they spent weeks trying to say they did not service my address. When I proved it with the invoice/work order numbers they completely stopped communication. News flash...there was no resolution.

I recommend not doing business with precision garage doors. The technician put a lot of pressure on me to hire them, even though the price given seemed very expensive ( and what I paid another company to do the repair was less than a third of what Precission originally wanted to charge me). The technician also tried to charge me $25 more dollars than what I was originally told it would cost for someone to come out and give me an estimate. He said it was because he had to spend the time to look at the garage door and talk to me about it, although he did agree to waive that extra charge. The technician also kept lowering the price to get me to hire the company, which made me very suspicious, and I really wanted him to leave already. This was a few years ago, but my experience with them was so bad, that I think people need to be aware of how they operate. At the very least if the quote they give you seems high, get another quote. Even if you have to pay $40 to get the estimate, it will be well worth it, if you save $1000 by hiring another company. Based on my experience getting the quote, I knew this was not a company that I wanted to work with, even if the price would have been reasonable.
