Wrote a review a year ago and was asked to take it down as they wanted a chance to correct issues. Had a building put up by Nixon and still have issues that were never addressed. Originally the garage was supposed to be in place by June 30th. Understandable that due to covid there were delays. Unfortunately Nixon was unable to give me any kind of timeline. I finally called the steel building manufacturer and was able to get a delivery date from them. Sub contractor they had build the garage office used a nail gun that was either sub powered or broken. Staples stick out 1/2 all over the place. Part of the loft section was unlevel and only attached by the metal cross supports. Back two corners of that section were off by 1 1/3" and 2". Concrete on the floor cracked near two support pillars within the first 3 months. Garage doors jam and cannot be closed. Installation of the plugs covering the door mounting screws was incorrect and resulted in most of them being popped out in the first 30 days. Was told they would be back out to fix things, but no one has ever shown up. Their lack of communication, commitment and quality are why there are only one star on this review. Would do no starts if I could.
Excellent, friendly and on time service. Did a great job installing 2 garage door opener's for me. Did the job quickly and cleaned everything up when they were finished. Highly recommend Nixon's!!!

This business has always been a pleasant sighting when driving into and out of Portales. Decided to finally give them a call and sure glad I did! I needed help with my garage door since it wasn't opening properly and having to manually open and close it. Total inconvenience for me doing it manually :P Got a virtual consultation through yelp, set up an appointment for the next day (day of) and the repair man came to my home super quickly! Super friendly technicians and he problem solved with me trying to figure out what component could be the issue. The technician said he would find the sensors for my garage door to be replaced and came the next day. He went out of his way to find the components we would need and the bill was very reasonable and the big take away was their professionalism in completing the job quickly and efficiently. Overall huge thanks to them and glad that a company like this supports Military Families and the owner Tabitha was extremely gracious and helpful. Wishing your company huge success!
