Very poor customer relations! When the owner arrived I asked for an estimate of charges. He told me he did not like to give quotes because it led to "problems". When I pressed him on the issue, he said his service call was $48 plus parts if necessary, which I thought was reasonable and let him go to work. The invoice I received included the service charge and a few parts that I authorized at the time of service - plus an additional amount for "labor" which was never mentioned in our conversation. Most legitimate professional businesses like plumbers and electricians that charge a service call includes labor for the first hour, he was there for about 30 minutes. When I called to discuss the additional charge, he said if I did not pay the full bill he would place a lien on the property. He said he has lots of liens on properties so apparently he does this to other customers quite often. I will call his competitors for service in the future.
