Called three places. No reply from two after 1 day. The third, aggieland, called within 2 hours and came the next morning. Fixed it in a short time and the cost was much lower than I expected

You should really try going with Chris and Aggieland Garage Door for their exceptional service and work ethic. He installed our garage door opener (which we bought separately) about 4 years ago and came to take a look at an issue we had recently. He answered our call back quickly and came early to our appointment. Chris tries to help you out and make sure everything is good. I strongly recommend and endorse their services.

Beyond incredible!! Called and Chris responded right away. When he came to the house he was friendly and gave us solid information. Ryan and Cole came out and replaced the motor and adjusted everything to tip top shape. This was all done quickly, professionally and at a good price with a great warranty. I cannot recommend Aggieland Garage Door high enough!!

Our garage door opener stopped working. Called Aggieland Garage Door and scheduled a visit to inspect and provide an estimate. Despite having to reschedule the visit (my fault totally, told them I would be available and then wasn't), Chris was on time and very knowledgeable. Bottom line - the opener is once again functional. This (thankfully) wasn't a major job but they treated this problem as though it was a big deal. Thanks - will use again, and recommend that anyone with a problem give Aggieland Garage Door a call.

My garage door broke (wire was caught, messing up the track). I should have called Aggieland Garage Door but was told by my HOA that OGD had a warranty for my door. What a MISTAKE! OGD charged me $50 for an estimate and insisted that I need a new garage door that cost $1,900. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion. Aggieland Garage Door came out the same day I called. There was NO fee for their estimate (OGD charged $50 to come out for an estimate). Second, they said they could get someone out a few hours later to fix it and quoted me $200 labor and $180 for a new tract if they couldn't bend it back. Well, 45 minutes after the techs arrived, they had bent the track back and reset the door, only charged me the $200 in labor since no new parts were needed. This is in comparison to OGD's tech that spoke to me for 2 hours about how I just needed a new door and did nothing to help shut the door telling me it would break the door more (clearly, it could be done since Aggieland Garage literally fixed it in 45 minutes). I really appreciate that there was no scammy behavior from Aggieland Garage, the techs were profession, and the garage door is working great. I highly recommend this company!

Our garage door spring broke at night. The next morning I called, got a quote over the phone, and it was fixed before 1pm. The work looks good, there's a transferable lifetime warranty on the springs, and they didn't try to up-sell me. I hope I don't need to call them again anytime soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

These guys are the Best! Chris was very communicative and honest and I was very happy with the installers. Great attitude and great service. They did my mom's garage door, and replaced mine with a new motor. I had a defect with one of the wires being frayed the day after the install and Chris got someone out promptly to address the issue. Aggieland Garage Doors are second to none!

I had the opportunity to meet all 3 owners of this family-owned local business and was blown away by their professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness. (Not to mention the incredible deal I got on our door!) They were punctual, good communicators, and did a fantastic job on the work. You should hear how quiet our new door is--except you can't--because it's that quiet! My husband prefers to do most of our household repairs himself and was a little annoyed when I called in a professional to replace our door; however, after seeing the work they did, he has done nothing but gush about what a great job they did and how it was worth every penny! I'm still excited every time I pull into the driveway and see it (it really updated our older house!) and our new, insulated door is keeping our garage noticeably cooler, even in the hottest months of summer. We are completely satisfied customers who highly recommend Aggieland Garage Door, and won't use anyone else!

We live in an older home and just replaced our extremely heavy, wooden, original garage door with a lightweight, insulated metal door. In addition to being quieter and operating much more smoothly, our garage is noticeably cooler (which is impressive in the heat of the summer!). I was blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of technicians. In less than one week, they diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, and made the repair. (And I STILL can't get over the incredible deal I got!) our new door looks great and runs whisper-quiet! I would highly recommend using this locally owned and operated business. This is the second house I've used them for and have been nothing but happy with their work. (Even my handyman husband who prefers to do most repairs himself was impressed).

I had the opportunity to speak with Chris to seek possible assistance and repair from his company. He was incredibly kind and understanding and was able to trouble shoot my problem and tell me what would be needed, the total cost to repair, plus even come today to repair the door. The price was very reasonable, and included a follow up appt. in a year to make sure all was well and make any adjustments that might be needed. I thoroughly appreciated Chris' offer of assistance and was very grateful for his kindness and helpfulness. They are locally owned and operated and their customer service is outstanding.....two of the most important aspects of good business. As is turned out, I was not able to actually have them do the repair because of some issues on my part, but rest assured, should the opportunity arise in the future to have work/repair done on my garage door, Chris will be my first call! Called 8am and they said they would be out by 11am. I called them back because I had forgotten I would be unavailable. He called me back 5 minutes later and had me set up for the next day. They called when they were on the way. Diagnosed the problem quickly and had it fixed with half an hour with a lifetime warranty. They came by late afternoon the day after I inquired about the issue. Were in and out in less than an hour. Replaced broken spring with two. These guys know their business...very experienced, quickly solved the problem. I thought I had bent the door badly enough that it might require replacement; they assured me that they could make it right, and they did, in less than an hour. I recommend their services to EVERYONE. Services Rendered: My garage door jumped the track and jammed on a Sunday. Monday morning at 9 AM, Chris was there to look at the situation, and a team from Aggieland Garage was at the house by noon.

My garage door jumped the rails--on a Saturday night. Chris called me back Sunday morning, we arranged for a visual inspection Monday morning, and his experts arrived with all required parts by noon. I had prepared myself for the worst, and was delighted with the rapid repair at an extremely reasonable price. True professionals! Most strongly recommended.

I got home one evening and my garage door opener refused to close/lower the door. I tried contacting the original installers but didn't hear back in a timely manner. I couldn't keep waiting and so contacted Aggieland Garage Door company by email after hours. The owner contacted me by phone 1st thing the next morning (before 8am) and managed to squeeze me in the same day. He gave me a full explanation of what to expect during the visit. They called before coming and arrived within the indicated time window. The unit could not be fixed (though barely over 1 year old - and they tried!) so a new one had to be installed. They gave me options based on my needs and prices for both. Once I decided, they quickly went back to the store to get the system I chose (including new remotes and keyless entry) and came back to install. Once in place, they went over the safety features and the additional functionality provided by my upgraded system as well as the warranty. It was clear they wanted me to know that if any problems or questions arose I should call them. I was extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of all concerned. Well, unfortunately, their "lifetime, lifetime, lifetime warranty" does not include fixing their mistake made at the initial install. Had to pay $89.90 for 7 minutes of service to move 2 bolts and put some spray on the door. I could have easily done this work in the same amount of time. A prime reason we chose the company was the promised warranty (see my original review from 10/7/2013). Unfortunately, 7 minutes of work to fix a problem caused by the installer not noticing that a side entry door would slam into the garage rail led to an effective $700+ per hour service charge. No new parts. A bit of garage door spray. Move two bolts. All for an effective $700+ per hour. So much for their warranty. Yes, their truck advertises Angie's List. So, I figured an update was appropriate. Services Rendered: Very slight adjustment due to their not noticing a side entry door hit the rails at install...but their warranty is NOT free.
