The Good - they know what they are doing. The Bad - You will pay $200-$400 per hour in labor. The price secret for residential garage door springs. Manufacturers sell them to anyone for $99 a pair, some extremely heavy pairs are $109. Shipping is included. Regardless of the company you use, remember everything above $100 is labor/profit/fees. It will NOT take more than an hour for an experienced installer to finish. Most in the area are firm at $350-$400 parts and labor, Pro-Lift quoted me $500 parts and labor. I ended up buying them myself for $99 and using an out of town installer that only charged me $100 for the 45min install. Months later, my springs are great!

On a Friday afternoon around four o'clock, our garage door spring snapped. Unable to open the door manually, I made a quick check on garage door repair services reviews and called Pro Lift of Lake Murray. The gentleman that took my call was very professional and kind. The next morning, Allen, a Pro Lift technician, arrived to assess our problem. We had suspected that the door was struggling for a while and Allen went through every aspect of the door operation and parts. We discussed options and pricing. They replaced one of our garage doors that was heavily damaged (by a car). It looks amazing and doesn't look mismatched with the undamaged door! We were so used to the regular rattling of the door when we lifted it (before it was damaged) and now that it's been replaced it sounds so smooth and works seamlessly.
