The company is VERY responsive. I sent a website form message late one evening, and they texted me back within a few minutes. GREAT communication. I needed a new garage door opener. The price of a unit with installation was a fair amount higher than comparable prices at Lowes and Home Depot. They offered that if I purchased my own unit wherever I wanted, they'd install it for me. Their install price was a little higher than Lowes or HD, but I knew (from their other ratings) that it would be well worth the cost. It was! They were quick to install, and everything was perfect.
The technician went above and beyond to gel the job done. I had a broken spring. He replaced them with sturdier springs was courteous and knew what he was doing. I sure will use A1 again. He took the time to explain every step of the process

A1 Garage Repair was very easy to work with. They came and analyzed the door opener and found that a new one was needed. Within a couple days it was scheduled and installed. I had no mess to clean up and the installer was happy to help us out.

We just had a spring replaced on Wednesday 11/15/2023 at a cost of $410.00. We had the same service done in July of 2022 at a cost of $267.00. I would like you to try and explain the fact that this service has almost doubled in 1 year? We were charged over $300.00 for a spring that I can get locally for around $70.00. I am not against a business making money but this is outrageous. The tech that did the work, did a good job and I have no issues with that portion of the bill.
This is my third home in which I've used this company. I've had two homes where they've completed a repair with the most recent service for a new garage door opener install. They continually to have the best customer service, affordable pricing, and complete the job with quality. I will continue to recommend them to friends and family and utilize them if they need ever arises.
Wow! Service with a smile! I heard an extremely loud noise last night in the middle of a bad storm and assumed it was lightning. As it turned out, the spring on my garage snapped from normal age/wear & tear. I discovered in the morning when the garage wouldn’t open, and got the owner, Naji’s contact at A1 Garage Doors from a neighbor. I called him right away and he 1) immediately identified the problem over the phone 2) had his team member reach out minutes later (she even sweetly apologized that it took her 4-5 mins to get to me instead of 2!!!) 3) they prioritized getting to my home since my car was stuck in the garage. 4) the service was very fast (~30 mins), and Naji was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the problem and how long it would take to fix… and now I have a working garage door merely an hour or so after my initial call. He even offered to add an extra screw to the door on both sides for an added safety measure. So impressed! This is an example of EXCELLENT SERVICE… highly recommended!! Thank you Naji and A1 team!
My garage door suddenly started only going in the down direction and jamming the door down so far that the rail bowed. I called A1 and the initial service rep said it needed to be replaced, but I wondered if it was repairable. They sent a more experienced tech who opened it up and found a gear that was missing a tooth so that the system was losing track of where the trolley was. I bought a system at Lowe's and they came back and installed it the next day, deducting my initial charge from the cost. They did an excellent job and I feel confident that it will be my last one. I learned that theost negative reviewer on Yelp was fully refunded, which to me should be mentioned by the reviewer.
We are very happy with our garage door purchase from A1. We got a double and single car garage doors complete with new openers. Beth was very communicative and professional along the way. The doors came in very quickly and they had everything installed in one day. The price was several thousand dollars cheaper than other local companies we received estimates from. I highly recommend A1 for all your garage install and repair needs.

Excellent service. Came out the same day I messed up the tension on the springs (long story, completely my fault). Fixed the problem quickly and the service person was very friendly. Garage door was quicker and quieter also.

My garage door spring broke today they were here within 1/2 hour and finished just as quickly. So efficient..courteous. Especially Friday in the late afternoon. I would use them again and would give the best rating to the owner who was the one who came. Thank you for saving an old lady.
Great! The arm that lifts my garage door broke from the door. As the door was 26 years old I decided to buy a new one. A representative from A1 Garage Repair came to my house to check the door and to discuss a replacement door. I got a quote from them and ordered a new door (which took 6 weeks probably because I ordered an insulated door). When the door was ready they called me to set up a install date/time. The door installer (Nathan) arrived on time and had the door installed in around 3 hours (the amount of time he said it would take). He took the time to answer my questions about the door. I can't say enough positive things! Great service AND great pricing. Can't beat that! I got A1's name from 'Hilliard Moms' group for good reason. Bethany scheduled us for an estimate right away and stayed connected through the whole process. Even though I asked for numbers and information on different doors and options, she never once made me feel like an imposition (all too common these days). I never felt any pressure to 'upgrade' or spend more money. At my house, Naji knew immediately how to customize the door installation for my old 'salt-box' home with almost no head clearance. Not only was Naji professional and trustworthy, he took great pride in his work; ensuring that every detail was meticulously completed - then followed up a couple of days later to make sure that everything was working smoothly and met expectations. I got an appointment to replace the garage door opener at my mothers condo within a few days of contacting A1. Naji arrived on time and completed the work within an hour. Replace Broken Torsion Spring Services Rendered: Our torsion spring broke and we could not get our car out of the garage. We called A1 Garage Repair for estimate - he was available and came the same day and fixed it, as good as new. He also repaired cable and did some minor tune up work on the door. Great experience, will call again.
Our garage door would not open on a Saturday morning, and we could not even lift it manually by releasing the emergency cord. We immediately phoned Naji at A1, who had done work for us on two previous occasions. Naji said that he would be at our house in about 4 hours, which, for a Saturday morning, was a remarkably quick response. Naji said that he would phone to alert us that he was on the way, which he did, arriving 30 minutes before he originally thought he could. He diagnosed our garage door problem instantly: brokem torsion springs. He had new torsion springs with him on his truck, and within 25 minutes he installed them and had our garage door working perfectly. He inspected all the working parts of the garage door opener and made some minor adjustments, just to ensure that the mechanism was in good order. Naji arrived dutifully wearing his protective mask, which we appreciated. As usual, he was friendly, personable, and industrious. He is the first person we would think of calling if we ever needed future garage door repairs. Our bill on this day was $220. Naji took no payment on the day he made the repair; he later e-mailed us an invoice that we paid with a credit card. Great expert service at a fair price. I described the issue with my broken spring and cables. I received an immediate quote and time for the service. Soon after arriving, he had issues on our very old door with removing the cables. While it took him a bit of time and effort, there was never any up-charge or suggestion of added "needed" repairs. Overall, the service was professional, timely and "exactly as promised". I am very pleased and would highly recommend A1!
We've used this business twice for a broken spring. Most recent was today. They were able to fit us in less than 4 hours after I called. I was very impressed because time was of the essence and we couldn't open the garage door at all. Very professional and punctual. Definitely would recommend A1!
Naji is the best. Came after hours to repair my broken garage door and even helped me pick the lock to my house after I (stupidly) left the house key inside. I've used this company multiple times and he always comes same day and has fair pricing. You have a customer for life!
A1 came over yesterday to replace our Garage door cables. Everything seemed to be working until the morning came around. We were able to open the garage with no issue but when putting it back down, 3 wheels came off the track and our garage door wouldn't close. It's now hanging by 2 wheels and we are unable to connect with anyone. Weve called the main line and also the owners cell phone. Luckily another garage door company is across the street completing some work. Will not be using A1 again.
