I hired Nofziger Door Sales to replace 2 garage door openers at my home. I got estimates from a number of competitors, and not only was Jon's price the best, he did the best job of explaining the choices I had, and why he recommended going with DC units. No other company offered this choice. He was very happy to work with me to customize his quote to the exact work I wanted done, and didn't try to 'upsell' me; in fact, he explained exactly why he recommended the basic units instead of the more expensive ones with features I didn't need nor want. Juan, the Installer, was a pleasure to work with. He called first, showed up early, and got to work right away. He got things done quickly and efficiently, explained what he did, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The openers work great, and the doors operate like they were brand-new. He did truly professional work, and I appreciate it. I would not hesitate to recommend Nofziger Door Sales' services to my neighbors and friends. I plan to continue to use their services for my own needs; I tend to stick with companies I trust. It’s nice to know that there are still companies like Jon's who value relationships, listen to what I want and need, and give me good value for my money. Nofzinger Door provided great service and prompt repair on a garage door issue at our home. Pricing was very reasonable on the repair.(was less then I anticipated) Excellent service and good communication from beginning to end!
Nofziger door appears to strive to have excellent customer service as Kyle the service manager came out for free for the initial inspection, he has very good communication skills and responds to emails promptly. But the installer was in a huge hurry and made some mistakes and the company did not seem to want to own up to the mistakes in a timely manner. The technician was also trying to cut corners by not installing my new sensors that came with garage door but ultimately Kyle made him come back and install them as my old sensors was 20 years old. I reached out to Kyle because the garage door didn't appear to be right when opening and closing and was loud, Kyle said he would be out next week to inspect garage door and garage door opener , I waited for about 2 weeks. In desperation to get garage door opening and closing properly, and because it was very loud, i had to hire a separate company to come out and fix the mistakes that where made. They also took my old remote that operated my other garage door when the technician left and didn't bother asking me if it went to other garage door and didn't offer to bring it back, then i had no help trying to figure out how to program the new remote for other garage as it wasn't as simple as the older style remotes i had to contact liftmaster for help. I had to spend an additional 150.00 to get another garage door company to come out here for a service call. I was looking for an uncommon torsion spring after a surprising early-morning failure. Nothing was available around town. I called Nofziger (based on advice from a friend) and they had an equivalent spring ready for me within a couple of hours. The part worked fine, the price was fair, and the staff was friendly. They cautioned me about the hazards involved with the job, which is always professionally appreciated, and sent me home with a good solution. Installation went well and my problem was solved today.
One of the rollers on my garage door came off the rail, leaving me unable to bring the door back down. My usual garage door company didn't return my call, so based on the recommendation of a friend I called Nofziger. Nofziger happened to have one of their experts in my town on another service call and was able to work my door malfunction in within just a couple of hours. Dennis quickly identified and explained the problems (one hinge had failed, leading to its roller derailing, plus he found a second hinge on the opposite rail that needed to be replaced). In 20 minutes, he replaced both hinges, reset the garage door opener, and lubricated the chains. The cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Excellent service. Called about getting two new garage door openers installed, person i spoke with was knowledgeable and helpful. Installer came out the next morning and did a very nice job installing everything. New wall mount openers work great and the new rollers they recommended make the doors virtually silent. Price was very reasonable for good quality work. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future.
Once again, Nofziger Door came correct with customer service, timeliness and professionalism from sale to install. John was a great advisor, and Dennis delivered (again) on the install. This was the second time we opted for Nofziger, and we can say, without reservation, that they will be our reflex for future garage door service, and we recommend with our highest endorsement! Nofziger came out to give me an estimate on repair of roll-up steel door, had the parts on hand, and was able to complete repairs on the initial visit. Repair cost was a third of what another company's estimate, and other companies told me they wouldn't work on roll-up doors. Good communication in setting up estimate and immediately before arrival at my home. I couldn't be happier!!!
We purchased our new garage door from Nofziger and could not be happier. Both the purchasing process and quality of the door exceeded our expectations. After talking to three other "highly rated" Garage door companies (as rated on Angies list") I contacted Nofzingers who with virtually all A ratings is not even on the first page of the Angies list. While all of the others wanted to replace the opener for somewhere between $500 and $700 the tech from Nofzinger identified the problem quickly and replaced a faulty board for $100. Outstanding! Came to our home and gave us a quote and catalogue. Very competitive price. Scheduled installation at a convenient time. Doors look great. Staff was punctual, cleaned up after work completed, removed and took old doors and rails with them. Tested to make sure everything worked and reviewed features and maintenance requirements with me. They came out and did a fantastic job, making sure it was done right. Also replaced two wheels on the garage door and readjusted the sensors on the garage opener without any extra charge. Friendly, nice and honest.
I was in the process of selling my home and really needed to update the Garage Door. It was my intent to just go with the same light gray color but I asked for advise from the expert. Jon Nofziger provided me samples of colors and styles, pictures as well as other doors in the neighborhood. The new door complimented the brick on my home and the new buyers loved it. Excellent experience with John Nofziger coming out to do estimate. John did not try to oversell his products or accessories. After comparing to other estimates, we scheduled for an install. Gentleman showed up on time; did tear out, install and clean up all by himself in approximately 3-4 hours. Last spring my 30 year old garage door spring snapped. Nofziger responded within an hour of my request for service and had a technician out to replace the spring within a day. The price was more than reasonable and the service was complete within 30 of arrival at my home. Two other competitors that I contacted replied to my request for service after Nofziger completed the job. I highly recommend this company for your garage door needs.
It is operating well now. Services Rendered: I had them come and do some checking on the operation of my door . The door was reversing itself after several operations.. They put shields on the sensors and lubricated the track for general operation. However, they has to come back the next week and adjust the operator.

We have always had Nofziger Door service our garage doors and openers at our current and previous home. They have always done an excellent job for a fair price. When it came time to replace the original garage door and opener that was provided by our builder, Nofziger was the only company we called. They quickly gave us a detailed quote for the specific type and design of the door we wanted and for a new door opener. After working out the details with Jon Nofziger, the door was ordered and then delivered when promised. The installers arrived on time and were very professional about removing the old door, installing the new one and leaving everything in order. They showed us all we needed to know about using the new door/opener and answered all of our questions. The new door looks and works great. The new opener is so quiet that you don't hear a thing now when it opens or closes. We couldn't be happier with the installation. I suppose you can always find someone that might quote you a lower price, but you won't find anyone that can provide you with a better product, better installation or better service than Nofziger Door. I would recommend Nofziger Door to anyone in the market for a new garage door or in need of service for an old one.
Jon came out on Thursday to give us and estimate, he was super friendly and gave me precise details of how to prep for install day. He did not hard sell me when I told him I had to check with my wife. That night we agreed to go with Nofziger and let Jon know. He scheduled us for the following Wednesday. Jon called me the morning of install because it was raining just to confirm that I was not going to have to out anything from my garage out in the rain and I confirmed My stuff would be safe from the rain. A little While later Larry (the installer) called to confirm he was on the way and told me when he would arrive. Larry and his partner were top notch. We have gone through a complete remodel on our home we have had a lot of trade workers in, these guys were the most professional and friendly of anyone we have had. They even thanked us for the work, in a day and age where people don't want to work if they don't have to, these guys were thankful they had work to do even on a rainy day. We would no doubt recommend Nofziger to anyone and everyone. They did not make any assumption and asked us about everything they needed an answer to complete. Had a new garage door installed today, and the installers did a nice job. Door looks great and is much quieter than our old unit. I'll definitely update if something goes wrong, but for now it certainly looks like I made the right choice. It's worth noting that their prices were very competitive, and the door they installed was made in Ohio.
Had a few issues with our old garage door and found Nofziger on Craigslist. Great find as their salesman came out to look at our door, explained our options and gave us a top notch door for only slightly more than what others were charging for lower level doors. Quality door made here in Ohio and installer was very professional.
