The best of the lot: Prompt, knowledgeable, very reasonable prices & they carry all the parts. Josh & Stefan's team were awesome today! I've had bad experiences with two other repair firms in the past (ghosting/over-charging/ poor work etc.) so dialed DE Express Garage Door Service with hesitation but was thoroughly impressed!

Thoroughly impressed. They were able to work around my schedule to get my door repaired the same day after an 18 year old spring failed. I thought pricing was reasonable for this type of service and their team was very efficient. Staff via text, FaceTime, and in person were all friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. I would definitely use this team again for future services; great experience from start to finish.

Excellent service the techs were on time, completed fixing my garage door that would not go up. I needed a new lift system it works great and very quiet. My old one was extremely noisy. I also had new weather stripping replaced! I am a satisfied customer and would recommend Delaware garage to all!

Joshua showed up on time to access the problem with my garage door. Jim (live on the phone:) ) & Joshua worked as a great team and figured out the problem and the solution. Joshua was nice enough to hang out a bit longer to check out my other 2 doors that need some sprucing up. He explained what is needed and also informed me of their "membership" programs which I think is a great idea to have as a home owner. I'd highly recommend Delaware Express to anyone. Thanks guys!

One of the torsion springs on our garage door broke, thus disabling it. Out of sheer panic and desperation I called Delaware Express Garage Door Service. It was Labor Day and I fully expected to talk to an answering machine. Almost unbelievably a young lady answered and was actually able to set up a service visit the very next day. The following morning a service tech, Draco, arrived exactly as scheduled. He looked the situation over and, after a thorough inspection, he advised a total door rebuild. We went with it. They were even willing and able to work with us financially, which was a huge help! Draco informed us of an additional issue with the lift mechanism. It was making a loud grinding sound and he advised a replacement for the gear and sprocket part of the lift system. He also adjusted the belt, which was way too tight from the initial install years ago. Now we are going to schedule that replacement soon. This is a great company with fantastic service and a willingness to work within their customer's financial constraints. Jim gave us several options for repairs and allowed us to choose what works best for us. Draco is a fantastic service man who is actually "school trained" in garage doors. (Not all that common as it turns out!) This man knows his stuff and we feel 100% confident with his work. I very highly recommend Delaware Express Garage Door Service, LLC Ask for Draco! Joshua and Jim were outstanding in working together to troubleshoot various issues with my garage door. From the first point of contact on the phone, to the technician, then speaking with the master technician, the customer service is unmatched! They were knowledgable, courteous, and went above and beyond to make sure everything worked and I was happy with it. Highly recommend!

I booked an appointment on a wednesday because my garage door was sticking and I needed it repaired. The mechanic came, unprepared, without any parts, and did not complete the job, billed me $160, and said he would be back by Friday to complete the job. No one showed up on Friday, and I received a call from the manager, JIM, later in the evening Friday night. He verbally assaulted me with his loud dog barking in the background. Extremely unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and incompetent. The garage door needed a simple chain which can be bought at home depot, which Jim said he may be able to get on Monday, but wasn't sure if he could put me on the schedule. He verbally attacked me, and insulted me, for inquiring about the job being done. In closing, I would like to warn any potential customers to find someone else for their garage needs. We are a professional storage company with 28 garages, and we will no longer be doing business with this company, because we will never be subjected to Jim's rage and toxic behavior towards customers. We paid upfront in good faith, and now we will have to contact the bank to get our money back. We demand a refund, for job not completed, otherwise we will stop payment at the bank. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!

We needed both of our garage doors replaced and Delaware Express did a fantastic job from start to finish. They were very upfront with price and timeline for installation. A small imperfection was discovered on one of the garage door panels requiring a second visit. That visit went just as well. This is a trustworthy and professional company that stands behind their word.

This business charged top dollar for their services. The job was completed and I had issues with their work. After 3 phone calls with no response.. even after a promise for a repair that never happened, I called another company. Rather than doing the work correctly, the installer reused parts from the old unit and spliced the wiring. The only way you can get a response is by posting a bad review and then the reviews seem to disappear depending on the site. Be warned.

Replace part but door did not work. Found another company to come out and replace a $12 part, fully adjust chain and unlike Delaware Express, they cleaned up before leaving. Not someone I would recommend or ever use again.

They are the best in the business. We have had them many many times and never a problem. Even the owner chips in and helps out when necessary. We will not use anyone else for our garage doors and handyman work.

I had an emergency at my home as the garage door would not lock and gave full access to my hime. Delaware Express Garage Door Service cane to the house within 12 hours and put on a temporary lock on the side so my family would be safe and came back the next working day and fixed all my issues within 3 hours - new garage door opener, new keypad, remote bearings etc. the closing of the door is so quiet I did not even know it was moving. A special thank you to Chris for the inspection, temporary lock, estimates (which were very reasonable ) and his patience with me and the owner who did the work to get my door in operating order. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could and recommend them to anyone!!!

Our Garage door springs and cable snapped on a Friday morning and we were unable to open the door or get the car out. I called 2 other companies that had more reviews than Delaware Express on Angies's list and they couldn't come out till the end of next week! They also said they would come to look at it next week and come back at another time. I called Delaware Express Friday morning and they came Saturday morning! Above all else, excellent price and fantastic service from their technician. He came in and assessed what was wrong, pointed out why, what happened and what caused the issue. He had the parts and supplies and completed it Saturday, the same morning! I would highly recommend them over the larger companies that were overpriced and didn't seem to care.
