Yelp5Had Henlopen Overhead Door in today for a garage door tune up. Professional, knowledgeable, arrived on time and provided excellent service. Can't believe how much more quietly the garage door operates - highly recommend.

Google51st time using Henlopen Overhead Door. Hesitant always when using a new company for our business needs. They were swift at responding to my call. They had me on the schedule and fixed within a day or two from contact. What I like most, was they followed up with a phone call explaining everything (very thoroughly) that they had completed as a fix. Very impressed with the service over all!! Thank you (Ryan) and Henlopen Overhead Door!! Looking forward to doing business with you.

Google5We were experiencing significant problems with our Genie garage door opener. We called Jim at Henlopen Overhead Door and he came the very next day. He installed a new garage door opener and remote pad. He did excellent work; gave us much information and was extremely helpful and pleasant. We would strongly recommend him.

Google5We are snowbirds & came home from Florida after being away for 6 months. When we opened the garage door, we heard a terrible noise. My husband & I knew something was not right w/ our door. We called Henlopen Overhead Door. The company is a father & son operation. Not only did Ryan, the son, come over w/in a couple hours accessing the damages, he also explained our issue in a succinct, knowledgeable & caring sort of way. Our door spring broke & the actual garage door cracked. Ryan gave us books to look through as well as quotes for another garage door. Ryan explained the advantages & disadvantages of some of the door options. His expertise in garage door repair, maintenance & product was astounding. Both Jim & Ryan did an excellent job repairing our garage door spring & installing the new garage door. Jim & Ryan were personable, responsible & gave us the best deal we could get by telling us which products they have had success with. Both of them had experience w/ the array of products they had come into contact with. I would recommend Henlopen Overhead Door to anyone looking to upgrade their present garage door or for someone who needs a door repaired. It's a father & son operation that show how much they care about how they handle people, product & customer satisfaction. I think Ryan should get a raise! He did an excellent job w/ our job & he did it w/ ease, knowledge, & conscientiousness.

BBB5Great people! Easy to work with , very responsive , reliable , hardworking. Couldn’t be happier with our new garage door opener . They also came out year ago and replaced our garage door. I will definitely recommend them to all of my neighbors !

Google5Contacted Helopen Overhead Door when garage door spring broke. The owner Jim set up appointment for the next day and arrived on time. He was friendly, explained what the replacement required, had the part on the truck and installed in about an hour. Very fair price. Highly recommend.

BBB5Qualified. Proficient. Timely response. Easy to communicate with. Affordable. My situation: In August 2022 my overhead door spring broke, the door wouldn't open, and my car was 'trapped' inside the garage. I called them early in the morning. They squeezed me in between scheduled appointments, arrived at noon, had an appropriate replacement spring in their truck, and completed the repair within 90 minutes.

Yelp5Ive been meaning to write this.... A few weeks ago my beach rental had a garage door issue and we had renters checking in the next day. I called Henlopen Overhead toward the end of the day. A man named Ryan answered the phone and he was on his way home and clearly his day was over. He asked me where we lived and we were not too far out of his way and decided swing by and fit us in.... Needless to say, Ryan exemplifies what great service is all about! Super friendly, knowledgable, and dedicated. Not sure if he owns the company, but I sure felt like he went above and beyond on a beautiful spring night when most would have let my call go to VM. All my future garage needs will go to this company. Thank you Ryan!! You saved the Day...

Google5Called Jim on a Thursday morning . He got back to me within 15 minutes and was at my place first thing Friday morning to replace my broken garage door. Even though my old door's setup required some unexpected additional work during installation of the new door, he charged me the quoted price. New door was in in about an hour. Fantastic service.

Yelp5Called Jim at Henlopen Overhead Door last week because out two car garage door was acting up. Jim answered the phone and I explained the situation and he told me that he was not far away and that he would stop by to see if it was quick fix or if he would have to come back. Jim looked at the door situation and within a short period of time Jim had the door operation perfectly. I would have no problem recommended Jim from Henlopen Overhead Door. Jim is a nice person to deal with and very honest which to me means a lot today and his fees are very reasonable. I have already recommended Henlopen Overhead Door to some friends and I will continue to use this company anytime I have a problem with my garage door. John G. (Lewes Delaware)

Google5Jim Bachman is an amazing contractor. When you call him, he answers. When you set an appointment, he shows up. He isn't the type to make you spend your money when it isn't absolutely necessary. I have used his services twice and can't say enough good things about him and his company. I highly recommend calling Jim if you have a need for garage door maintenance, repairs, or replacement.
