Yelp5My garage door opener failed during the recent five foot snowfall. Since my wife and I are elderly, manual operation of the door is difficult. We needed a fast replacement, and Sean was great in facilitating next-day service. Danny did a great job with the installation, and the whole job came in lower than expected. Our new opener is silent, smart-enabled, and a joy to use. Quality? You bet. Value: cost was eminently fair. Our garage door opener replacement could not have been more easy and fast. I highly recommend Third Gen Garage Doors!

Google5Our house was hit by the hail storm in May of 2023. We needed new garage doors. Sean was so great and extremely easy to work with. The options he gave really complimented our house. Our new garage doors look SOOOO good! I would highly recommend Third Gen Garage Doors.

Google5Excellent service, professional and on time. Sean and his crew installed new smart garage doors for me 6 years ago. Last month one of the garage door openers stopped working and he came over promptly and was able to determine it was a failed control board in the opener. He quickly installed a new one and it was working good as new again. Knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anybody needing help with garage doors new or used.

Google1Use at your own risk. Shawn installed a high end garage door for us in 2017 after hail damage. When we called him a year ago to address an issue he told me that he was "out of business and unable to help us". We noticed yesterday that where the garage door is attached to the j-bar the screws are ripped out of the door with no visible support structure underneath. Shawn is obviously still in business to new customers, but not returning calls for repairs to his previous work.

Yelp5When we wanted to replace our garage door, several years ago, we contacted a few different vendors. Sean was very responsive and knowledgeable and helped us get a five-panel door in a custom color to match our aluminum-clad windows. Installation was quick and clean. We have had only a couple of minor issues since and they have been addressed promptly and professionally. We like working with small local businesses.

Google53rd Gen Garage Doors came in and helped my situation out tremendously! I had a very unfortunate accident by driving out of the garage before the door was open. After the guys at 3rd came in and fixed everything my garage door worked better than it did before I drove through it! I would highly recommend this company for all things garage door related. Sean is great to work with and showed up on time!

Google5Third Gen was able to get us scheduled for a quick turnaround on a new door, track, and motor installation on a newly constructed detached garage. They were able to exactly match the door design spec of the existing home and ever were able to modify my order based on some last minute requests the day of installation. We requested a custom high-lift style track to maximize the open space within the structure, and Paul did an amazing job on a customized installation tying the track into the joists so that the door sits as flush to the ceiling as possible and installing the supports for the track in such a way that they have a clean and finished appearance.

Yelp5Couldn't be happier with the garage door repair and service I got from Third Gen. Punctual, professional and skilled. Nice guys too. Mine was a tricky repair that, I think, not all repair men could have done. For them, It was no problem. The price was better than reasonable/expected. I kept their card and will only call Third Gen for future needs. I highly recommend them for any garage door repairs. I hope to get a new door in the future and I'll definitely be calling Third Gen for that too.

Yelp5Long story short: call Third Gen Garage Doors NOW if you want an amazing garage door. Just see for yourself between the before and after photos of mine. I initially found Third Gen Garage Doors on Instagram and I was impressed by garage door installs that I saw. I reached out once I was ready to move forward with ordering a door. Sean (the owner) supplied me with all the brochures for a more modern door since that was what I was shopping for. (They can also do a more classic or carriage look, but I only saw pic from other installs and they did look good too.) Depending on what you're looking for, they might have something in stock to where you can get a quicker installation turn around. My order took around 3 week from ordering to final install. The products that I looked at were from C.H.I. I ended up picking out the "plank" style, which had texture that mimics wooden planks, and I also added long horizontal tinted windows that went down the right side of the door. I did ask Sean to come out and ensure that I got the right measurements. At that time, I met Grant and Paul, who were the ones that came out for the installation. On the day of installation, we were home all day so I was very flexible, the team did call me to state they were running slightly behind which was cool with me! Once they were here, it took about 2-3 hrs to remove the old door and track. Then install the new door, new tracks and ensure that everything was leveled, sealed, and running properly. Once Grant and Paul were done, they ensured I was happy with the installation and look of everything. They went over maintanence of the door and any joints I'll need lubricate yearly to ensure they're running smoothly. Even after the door was installed, I got a text from Sean checking in to ensure that I was happy with the door and installation. Overall, it was such an easy process working with Third Gen Garage Doors and I'm extremely pleased with the look of the door. I have the best looking garage door on the block!!!!! Shout out to Grant and Paul for working extremely hard on the installation, just shows how much they care about doing it right the first time!

Yelp5Sean at Third Gen was terrific! We ended up having buyers remorse about the first door we got (it simply didn't go with the house; there was nothing wrong with the door itself or with Third Gen's workmanship), and Sean was very helpful and accommodating with helping us get a replacement quickly, and was very flexible about scheduling. I ended up selling the first door to a friend nearby, and Sean very helpfully took care of installing that door at his house, so we didn't have to deal with a 3rd party or make additional arrangements. The door itself is wonderful, and I love the whisper-quiet opener they installed. I also love that the opener has wifi capability, so that I don't have to worry about whether my garage door is open when I'm not at home. Thanks very much, Sean!

Yelp5Sean and his team were absolutely great! We'd become frustrated trying to find an installer who a.) would show up when promised b.) understood our needs c.) was not trying to rip us off. Surprisingly, that's a fairly tall order in the Denver area. Seriously. Third Gen came in, listened, provided options to fit our budget (we went higher end), and did what was agreed to, and at the time promised. Good outfit.

The quiet motor and smooth tracks that the door moves on are amazing. But, by far the service takes top prize. We have had 3 inquiries already and lots of people gawking at this masterpiece. Google5These guys are awesome! Installed my 3 commercial doors proficiently, accurately and swiftly. Cleaned up their mess and removed all packaging. In addition, my electrician hadn't wired my new building yet, so we couldn't use the doors, so they came back out months later after we had electricity in the building to make final adjustments and lubricate the doors. These guys do what they say, stay in touch and keep their word! I highly recommend this firm! I know you would be pleased.
