Adams garage door representative was very knowledgeable about what the problem was and fixed it in record time. I will be using them again if any more problems arise.
Our Liftmaster door opener that Adams Door installed 24 years ago stopped working. Jerry came out and breathed life back into it and got it working again as well as making adjustments to the door. We'll definitely buy another Liftmaster opener from Adams Door!
The team at Adams Door compnay made my repair very easy. I was able to schedule online in the evening, they called me in the morning and had my springs repaired by 12noon. The repair team as polite, skilled and very personable.
Had a broken spring. Called Adams Door, as they were the original installer in December of 2005! They were able to schedule an appointment that fit my work schedule. Called to let me know they were on their way, arrived on time with very prompt and courteous service. I will rely on them for any future service/repair that may be needed.

We were having trouble with our garage door closing. Adams Door Company came out to our home and quickly diagnosed the problem. We were also given and shown information about maintenance tips for our door and opener. We were also not charged for the visit. Adams Door Company had originally installed the door and did an excellent job.
Great same day service, repair and fair price. My garage door wouldn't open. A fter inspecting the door myself I saw that a spring had broken. I contacted the company and they gave me window in which the tech would arrive. Later the technician called to give me a 15 minutes heads up that he was on the way. Ryan arrived inspected the problem and got everything fixed in under 45 minutes. I would definitely use their services again.
The service was 5 stars. From my initial contact at the office with Tomesha to the installation crew headed by Craig and Jerry everything was done as promised. On time and professional all the way. The installation was tricky, it was on an older garage and took skill to end up with a smooth working door. Mission accomplished! I will definitely use them again .
It was wonderful to have someone answer the phone, and I was amazed by how fast they could get someone out to us. The technician was very polite, very knowledgeable, and very thorough. I asked a couple of questions, and he was able to explain exactly what was going to be needed in the future, which I really appreciated. We love our new garage **************** Adams Door was quick to come give us a quote, got us on their schedule within a few weeks, and were very communicative. Once installed, there was an issue with installation and payment but they were quick to answer our questions and sent someone out to get it fixed. Garage doors are now done and work great!
I worked with this Company as a property Manager and from that experience I felt these guys were tops. I recently had them repair our Garage door. They were on time and cleaned up after. Very Friendly service. I have always found them reliable.
I have been a customer of Adams Door since 2008, using their services a number of times, including installation of a new opener on a garage door. I was always satisfied. So naturally, I called them this year when the opener on my other garage door stopped working, and a new opener was installed in May. But on July 10, 2021, I saw the new opener hanging from the garage ceiling -- one of the screws on the mounting bracket had pulled out and was lying on the floor. I called the Company and a technician came out July 13. I asked him if there would be any charge, or if some sort of "installation warranty" applied. He said my original bracket had been used to mount the opener and so there would be a charge, as the Company was not responsible for its installation. He secured the opener by installing three screws in the bracket. He then called the company office to find out what charges should be assessed, which I reluctantly paid. The charges were unreasonable. Not only was $21.00 charged for installing three screws, but a $69.00 "Service and Diagnostic" charge was assessed -- but I had already diagnosed the problem when I called and said one of the screws fell out. Such shabby treatment of a long-standing (but no more) customer cannot be ignored, and I will call another company in the future.
Our technician was prompt and efficient. Arrived the same day I called...fast turnaround! We needed a new garage door opener installed and he did it in less time than quoted. He also answered all of our questions and even helped us repair a transition strip that was coming off the bottom of our garage door. Will definitely use again!
My fiancee was going to leave and opened the garage door. She pushed the opener button and it went up 1/8" before the cable snapped. I got it back down, and the next morning I called Adams. After doing some research I landed on Adams. Adams has a long history of being in my community and during these unprecedented - supporting local is more important than ever. I called them up at 730 and they said they would be able to have someone out between 8 and 12PM, it was only an hour later and Kenny was here to save the day. I've had issues with my garage doors ever since they were installed by another vendor a couple years ago. Kenny was able to quickly diagnose and determine a solution that was the most sustainable and should not cause issues for years. Kenny's craftsmanship and precision to detail was second to none and frankly, I have a couple of other doors at some point that I want Kenny to put his "treatment" on. Thanks Adams and Kenny for your expert service and not only have you gained a five star review, but you've gained a lifelong customer and someone will refer Adams to anyone who is needing garage door services! :)
My garage door needed repair, it was coming down unevenly and jamming. Jerry came out and fixed it, making several adjustments so the door works better than ever. I scheduled an appointment window and he was right on time. Happy with the service, thanks.
I would recommend. Called Adam's Door to replace a broken torsion spring on our garage door. They were able to be out the same day and replaced both for less than $250. Kenny was super helpful and fast, replaced the parts, adjusted my opener to work a lot better than before the spring broke.
Our technician...Kenny...was on time...efficient...informative and knowledgeable...and even had a good sense of humor! It took him less than an hour to make the changeover to a new garage door opener with sensors.
I had a major problem with my garage door door when I was attempting to leave for work. Luckily I was able to make a same day appointment to have some come out and take care of it. Kenny arrived within a few hours. He did a great job and was very efficient! I was satisfied with the work he did on my garage door and I was soon on my way.
I am a woman that owns her own townhouse. I needed my garage door looked at because I was having water coming in my garage-My homeowner association did our driveways last summer-that cement put the pitch of my garage floor off to where I had visible gaps under the weather strip-making my garage cold-I had way too many conversations with my HOA management people that are NOT specialist-This morning I met Kenny- a true specialist that fixed the gaps & saved me a bunch of money. I take care of my "stuff"- like my Jeep goes to my local Midas-so now I have a garage door company I can trust!
I will have to call elsewhere. I can't waste another day with no appointment. Services Rendered: I called on January 7, 2015 to have cables adjusted/repaired on my garage door. Both had been replaced the November before by Adams. Curt and grumpy was the demeanor of the man who answered the phone. For some reason they will not make appointments but rather said they would call on Friday and schedule something early that morning. I never received a call. After 3 pm I phoned them - same grumpy man tried to tell me 2 messages had been left. There were no messages and nothing in my caller ID. If you want an appointment time to plan around your day - don't call here. If you want civil customer service don't call here.
Service man arrived early, worked quickly and repaired perfectly. My garage door has never been this quiet! He went above and beyond and greased the track/wheels (because he saw it needed done, I didn't know to ask him to do that). Services Rendered: Replaced broken cables on the sides of the garage door.
We had feared we'd need to replace the whole thing, but the technician replaced the part, greased all the rails/chains, and it works great now, and is much quieter to boot. We were impressed that he didn't immediately try to "upsell" us. The technician was not talkative, but that is okay--he got the job done expediently and that was all we asked. Services Rendered: A sprocket had broken on our garage door opener and the door was inoperable.
Good and bad. I referred my mother-in-law to Adams because of their good reputation. This is the only reason she hired them to put on a new door. According to her she had a difficult time getting the job scheduled after she had hired Adams. She called 3-4 times during the weeks of 5/6/13 and 5/13/13 to set-up an install date. The install date was finally set for the morning of 5/17/13 and Adams didn't show or call that day. The following Monday, 5/20/13, after another phone call, they arrived and installed the door. The door install went well and the door works well, but by Thursday, 5/23/13, the garage door opener quit working (she had called Adams earlier in mid-week telling them the opener was making a bad noises). She called Adams Friday morning and they said they could do nothing until after the Memorial Day long weekend. This is when I got involved. The reason the opener didn't work was because the chain sprocket shaft on the door opener was sheared off. I replaced the sprocket myself. I called Adams Tuesday, 5/28/13, and told them I could tell from the tension adjustment on the chain that it was very, very tight. Wayne, the service repair person who I spoke with, said the person who installed the door may have adjusted the tension but would have known what he was doing since he was a seasoned repair person. I'll have to believe this and just call it coincidence that the door opener quit working within 3 days of the new install. I write this review because my mild mannered, 76 year old mother-in-law is not happy. She's old school and expects good service and she doesn't believe she got good service. When I called them, they confirmed that my town was part of their service area, so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. They were able to look at it the 1st business day after I called. The guy was here all of 15 minutes and replaced a capacitor. That fixed the door. So far, so good. Then I got the bill... $16 for the part, $80 for labor (remember, it took 15 minutes), and $60 for the trip..... and I'm in there service area. Services Rendered: My garage door would not close... it would only go up. They were able to fix the door in 15 minutes by replacing a capacitor.
I think they were at the top of their profession. My garage floor was not level, but Adams came out and installed a quite garage door that closes flush to the ground. I couldn't be happier with their work. They really are good, very professional and dependable. Services Rendered: Installed a new garage door.
See above description. Services Rendered: Garage door quit working on the weekend. Because of the way it was acting I expected that it was the motor. Called company and left a voice mail asking that they call me Monday and told them that I suspected it was the motor. At 6:39 am on Monday morning, they called and informed me that they were booked for the day, but could have a technician there first thing on Tuesday to verify my siituation. Called to confirm on Tuesday around 7 am, set an appointment for 8 to 10. Arrived at 9 am, confirmed that the motor was burned up; priced a new system, installed it within an hour, calibrated the travel, lubricated and tested then stayed to make sure my car was reprogrammed. Was done and on his way by 10 am.
Very positive experience. I noticed that my garage door had a broken spring . I had had a positive experience with Adams door once before so I called them. I was told they could have a service rep out at 9 AM the next morning. He showed up at 8:45, confirmed my problem and asked if I wanted to replace both springs or just the broken one. I asked what the cost would be and I decided to replace both as the garage door is over 20 years old. There was no pressure to replace both. As he was by himself I asked if there was anything I could do to help. He said no that he had it under control. An hour later he knocked on my door and said he was done. He also moved the spring bracket, as it had pulled away from the wall and he oiled the chain. The cost was $216.24. I have no idea how that price compares, but felt that it was very fair. Received email estimate for three different doors then rep came to the house to measure. Rep arrived when he said he would. Was professional and courteous. Said he would call when the door arrived to schedule installation. He called two weeks later and scheduled install. Installers arrived at scheduled time even though it was raining. Install took approx 2-3 hours. They cleaned up their mess before they left. Door worked perfectly. Services Rendered: Replace double garage door.
