Google5We had two springs break due to the frigid cold. Hicklin Door Services came out on Sunday - the day I called - no extra charge. I have been very happy with the service and repair and the technician. Kind, courteous and got the job done well. Definitely recommend and would use again.

Google5These guys went to my home while I was at work to diagnose a garage door that wasn't opening. A guy named River called me when they got there and got my permission to enter the garage, and he and his coworker had the issue diagnosed quickly. They checked to see if my warranty would cover it, and called me back. Sadly my warranty didn't cover it, but they were there so I still had them go ahead and do the work. They had it fixed legit within the hour, and I arrived home to an operable door. PLUS a lifetime warranty on my fancy new torsion springs. This company was easy to work with and did a great job.

Google5Hicklin was recommended to us by many people when our garage door stopped opening. They were great to work with and I was surprised they work on weekends at no extra cost! They diagnosed on Saturday and were able to return and complete the work on Sunday. Our service tech, Cody, was courteous, professional, and easy to work with. He explained all our options and wasn't pushy with sales, just wanted us to know the various options we had. Thank you!

Google5I was extremely happy with this company. The service technicians were very nice and knowledgeable and got my 2 garage doors working. When I called for service, the employees answering the phone were also very nice. The service technician came out early the next morning after we had 10 inches of snow the night before. Hicklin Door Services will get all my business in the future because they know how to treat their customers!

Google5From my first call to Hicklin, till the moment the service tech (Cody) walked out our garage door. It was a great experience. Very knowledgeable, professional and prompt group of individuals to work with. They did a great job and were very affordable.

Google5Excellent service from these guys. I needed our big overhead doors adjusted at our shop. Our tech Shane gave me a ballpark number over the phone and was dead on accurate about the price and timing. I'm very happy, our doors work so much better now. Would recommend to anyone. I'm sure I'll use them again in the future.

Google4We recently replaced the siding on our home. Knowing that project was coming (including a drastic color change), we knew it was also time to consider replacing our old, tired garage door. Luckily for us, the choice of company to replace our door was easy. They repaired our door on short notice many years ago and won our future business that day. We first looked online and used their tool to design a door that we thought would look good. Although the website was good, it wasn't quite good enough to satisfy us, so we gave them a call and scheduled a time to go in and look some options in person. We met with Dana and she was wonderful about explaining the options, and how the replacement would work. They happened to have some samples of the exact door we were looking at and it became a simple choice of windows on the left of the right. We contacted Dana, told her we'd decided, and booked the install. On install day a wonderful duo of Shane and Antonio made quick work of replacing our opener and door. Antonio was great about answer our questions and explaining what was going on. We are very happy with the door and the opener. Hicklin has kept our business yet again.

Google5They installed an adjustable garage door threshold for me. They did a great job of explaining things and also that there's not a 100% guarantee to keep the water out because of how my driveway is. They saved me $100 by assessing the situation and discussing it with me. I really appreciate that! Both guys were super nice and did a great job! Unfortunately it didn't keep the water out when we got all of the rain the other day. But it could be coming from somewhere else. I will recommend them in the future! Thanks!

BBB1Horrible experience with Hicklin Door Services today, 6-9-23. A spring on an overhead door needed replacement. The exact same service was performed a year ago (5-9-22) for $159.43. Today's service was $512.53. This is price gouging at its most obvious. 320% of the prior charge! There was little choice but to go ahead with the service because Hicklin had failed to arrive for service as scheduled yesterday - i.e., my car had been locked in the garage for two days. I inquired if the technician's salary had doubled, at least, since a year ago. He confessed it had not. When I asserted that price gouging would erode Hicklin's business and reputation, the technician said my complaint is "no sweat off Hicklin's back."

BBB5Was having trouble with door opening slow the tech repaired problem and replaced the light socket that wasnt working on garage door opener and did a big favor for us and reprogrammed are key pad so we could use it.

Angi5Fantastic company!! Messaged through Angie's List - with super fast response (even at 11pm!). Confirmed pricing the next day and technician was here approximately 30 minutes after confirming that we would like them to come. Kieran was great! Friendly, personable and professional - he replaced our door springs and garage door opener in less than an hour! He helped seal our garage door better and lubricated all of the hinges and rollers. From start to finish was under an hour - for everything!!! Kieran explained some differences between our old garage door opener and our new opener - which was appreciated!! The pricing was super-reasonable!! This is an outstanding company with amazing service!! I cannot sing their praises enough - I highly recommend Hicklin Door Services!! Angi5Fine EXCEPT that the first thing they talked about was a warranty. Probably standard but it certainly makes it seem their work is so awful that they themselves don’t guarantee it. I’d hire them again but try someone else first. Services Rendered: Spring replaced

Angi5They arrived 5 min prior to the beginning of the 2-hr time frame we were told to expect. Worked quickly and efficiently to diagnose and repair the problem. 2days later, door wouldn’t open again. They came quickly and tightened the offending bolts without further charge and with deep apologies. Services Rendered: Garage door stuck 1/4 way up - couldn’t move it in either direction. Turned out the main spring and cables were broken.

Angi5The damage happened on Friday night, they were here Saturday morning. My son and I were sure that I would need a new door. It was bitterly cold and they still managed to do a great job.
