We always look for 3 companies for 3 quotes When looking forA repair.Or renovation? Or. RemodelFor our home. We check Yelp. We check. Reviews. And we speak toThe company. And check the BBB for negativefeedbackor complaint regarding the Company we choose. We chose Mammoth thinking that they were the best company out of the three. Although they were quite expensive. We believed. What they told us when they said we would never have to go without a garage door or An opener If we chose them. So when A week ago. We needed them (Mammoth) to come and check out The garage door opener, the insulated door springs rails etc. We spent approximately$6,000 with it only being a year old. We believe It was still under warranty. And that they would communicate to us. How long it would be? For a fix or repair or A replacement. We found out it's not covered under warranty after one year. They showed up on a Thursday, Mike oiled a couple of things barely stayed 10 minutes. Didnt replace anything although he believed it could be a " motor" or covered issue. On Friday. Apparently they ordered it but didn't tell us that, didn't communicate that it could be 10 months, three months, three weeks. I truly believe Nicole doesnt care that we cant use our $6000 garage door. Nicole stated " it takes a while to generate a shipping label" And finally, I called her back. Spoke to April & Nicole. And she's stated that she could ask Brian if he could give us a motor from a new Garage door opener that they have in their warehouse. She still hasn't called me back to let me know if that's a possibility. Or if we're going to have to be without our garage door. For another. Week, Month, Year. Nobody has said anything. So. If you're looking for them to communicate to you, dont hold your breath. The only communication we get is when WE CALL THEM! as of today july 26 we still dont know how long we will be without our door, Nicole stated "we sell their product we DONT make it" The fact that you sell something you cant service tells me alot about your company. Im disgusted that we chose the wrong 1 of the three companies we looked into.
