One of my springs broke on my garage door and I called Proper Garage Door to see if they could replace both springs. I talked to Chris and he said that he could come over to my house in an hour and he quoted me a price that was fair to me. Chris arrived as planned looked at my door and confirmed the price quoted on the phone. I told him to take care of it. He was all done in about a half hour and everything works perfect. I also have a five year warrenty. Chris is a great guy and knows what he is doing. I highly recomend Chris and Proper Garage Doors for any type of garage door repairs.

I highly recommend Chris and his team. Chris the owner who also works with his guys in the field as he was out on my job they are second to none. Couldn't believe how fair the price was and how fast they replaced two springs all my rollers, had to replace a few of the hinges unexpectedly as well as installed a brand new opener. All in less the two hours. Wouldn't look else where if you need a garage door repair or replacement etc.

Above and beyond service. And a fair price for my repair. After my repair was complete, the installer made some adjustments to help my door move better and quieter - it was a nice, unexpected bonus. They get my business from now on.
Do not recommend. Very poor communication and no shows. Called early morning and we were informed a tech would be out between 11-2... 230 comes around and we check back and now we're told 4-6. 6:06pm comes around and we receive a call tech is on his way. We inform him it is the garage spring.... He states he's out of springs.... And that his boss would be here the next morning. Tried to call twice the next morning but the techs mail box is full. 12:30 pm comes and there was still no communication on when they are coming despite being told the morning would be no trouble previously as my husband would be going out of town. The on call techs mailbox is full so you can't even leave any info but he will text you back however we were provided no info on time and if he/boss was on his way in the AM. We ended up texting him that we wanted to cancel and went with another company. Had more than enough chances and the fact that we had such poor communication made me want to take my business elsewhere. The other company was out and it was fixed within hours.
The team installed my garage screen door quickly. I am extremely satisfied with the final look.
Our garage door cable on one side broke due to age and corrosion, and our door was stuck halfway open and inoperable. I called and spoke with the owner, Chris, who was already on his way to another repair in our subdivision. When I told him what happened he was able to provide a quote and set up an appointment for house call. So, in about 12 minutes after I called, Chris arrived in the driveway ready to fix the issue. He had the parts, tools and knowledge to restore our garage door to full functioning and also inspected the second door for condition, and sprayed all the moving parts with the proper lubricant. Very pleased with Chris and his skills. Will call him again in the future for any garage door concerns. Jon C.

Called in for a repair at 10:30am and the same day before 3:00 my garage was in operation. The operator/receptionist/dispatcher was great. She explained pricing and had me on the schedule quickly. The techs showed up and were fast, clean, and very polite. This company is highly recommended!! Thanks
Excellent professional service. Chris responded quickly and efficiently. He recommended that I get a new door as it is 18 years old and used constantly but there was no pressure. He helped brace my garage door to extend its life possibly a couple more years, which helps me a lot financially right now. (Prices have sky rocketed as we all know). I saved them in my contacts as I will be referring them every chance I get and calling them when the inevitable happens and our door needs replacing. Thank you Chris and your crew for helping us out.
The spring on my garage door decided to bust on the Friday of Labor Day weekend...just my luck. After trying to fix the issue a few other ways, I realized the repair was beyond my skill. Some light Googling led me to this contractor. I texted the number on the site on the Sunday before Labor Day just to get the message out that I would need spring repair ASAP, but not expecting any sort of response until at least Tuesday. I got a response within ten minutes. Incredible. No contractor has ever been this responsive. ESPECIALLY on weekends, let alone Labor Day weekend. Within a few texts, I had an appointment for Tuesday. The whole repair cost $270 for a couple new springs and was done in 20 minutes. I just feel bad for making the guy call the home office to take my credit card. After the call, he told me they take Venmo! Coulda been a quicker transaction, but no worries. I'm just glad the garage is fixed. Overall, this was an awesomely smooth contractor experience (which is, disappointingly, a rarity), and I'll definitely use this company again.
Awesome experience! My garage door broke at 8pm on a Saturday night, and had a bent track. I called three companies and received one response.....that was Chris. He texted me and arrived within 10 minutes. He fixed the problem in under 20 minutes and didnt try to upsell me on new parts. The cost was VERY reasonable, especially considering it was a Saturday night. Chris was very knowledgeable and honest. I will call them for any garage issues in the future.
Came out next day. Took about 1/2 hour to complete and now I have my garage door working again. Services Rendered: Broken Spring Replaced

Initially the repairman was supposed to come by around 3-5pm; but he was running late. I had to call to find that info. The persona later showed up around 6:30 pm. He was professional and the job was done right. Services Rendered: Spring replacement of the garage door.
