This company was recommended to me by a contractor. I called, and they answered quickly. I explained my situation to my needs (im living out of state). From the motto on their site, I assumed "meeting all overhead door needs", meant getting measurements as well in a given situation. Because I was quickly cut off, and it was explained to me there is no such thing as a standard size garage door. How about a different approach? Do you offer to go out and get measurements? Do you have any way to describe the possibility of knowing the size of the garage door. Do you know a way for me to possibly get those measurements? The reason I say "standard" is because, to my knowledge, it's the only garage door on a residential property in my neighborhood for a 1 car garage. I will let the contractor know as well. We will buy somewhere else, though. The big guy still gets his, but not this company, not from me.

I had some issues with my garage door and needed some help asap. I called this company and was excited to move fwd with them.. But like most customers it's always smart to call several companies for quotes. So I did. The first company I called was MP Garage company. They told me they were booked but would try to get by to quote. However MP Garage showed up with a pleasant attitude within hours and ready to work with parts already. Still no call from Dothan Garage overhead Door. Dothan Garage overhead company shows up to my house the next morning UNANNOUNCED .. Walks into my garage.. Without being invited. I saw them on camera.. I walked out and let them know I went with another company.. I thought you all were suppose to call before coming .. I told them I appreciate you all coming out though they all understand and stated "Have a blessed day". I get a call 30mins later from Dothan Overhead Door to my surprise a gentleman that was very rude stating why didn't you call us.. And why did you go with another company. I stated sir.. Why are you talking to me like this.. I don't have a contract with you. Your people were suppose to call me and didn't. I went with a more professional company and from your response I'm glad I did. Then he hung up in my face. Don't use this unprofessional company.
William was very professional, friendly and stayed until all devices were programmed. Not an easy task since the car manual instructions were in error.
I called on Thursday and I was unable to meet, so they came on Friday. When they arrived they had everything that they needed to get the job done, without knowing what the exact problem was. Super happy customer and would recommend for anyone looking for great customer service, and great quality work.
They never called me back. When I called them they said $350 for a simple service call in the country. I fixed it myself. It's not rocket science.
When closing my garage door I heard a crash as it fell the final three feet. I could not get it to work. I called Dothan Overhead Doors - the company that installed the door motor. The sales manager, Bill Martin, came to my house, identified the problem (related to leaving my car's hatchback up when I closed the garage door), fixed it and would take no payment. I have found Dothan Overhead Doors to be an excellent company to work with.
