Sometimes the best test of a company's customer service is when there is an issue. We experienced a recurring garage door imbalance at our new-construction home and Dubuqueland Door Co. has been absolutely fantastic in chasing the solution down. They've been hyper-responsive in both communication and sending techs quickly out to resolve this issue, which was stubborn to fix - but they stayed on it! Everyone is friendly, courteous, has a can-do attitude and they stand by their work. Recommended!

They made the process of buying and installing a garage door easy. Tech informed me before he was coming and then checked with me when he was done and walked me through proper operation. I'd highly recommend them to anybody!!!
The installers Ben and Alex arrived on time, did their work, set up our Wi-Fi interactive capability and trained me on the system. Easy as could have been imagined. Very appreciative of their professionalism.
Tech called ahead to let me know he was on his way, showed up on time with all parts and tools needed. He was friendly to my black lab which I appreciated. Door is working perfectly now
I called them to fix a broken torsion spring. Had to leave a voicemail and didn't hear back until a day later when Hiram was already en route to my house. When I returned home from work an hour after Hiram left, the spring was fixed, but the door would not open. Ben came two days later to install a new opener which they would not cover any of the cost. The springs were not tensioned correctly, the seal around the door was damaged from Hiram, and the metal flashing was all bent from Hiram using a pry bar to remove it. They never offered to fix any of it, even after multiple emails and calls. I was never allowed to talk to the owner. I was charged over $1200 for everything. Poor communication and poor customer service. Never calling them again. I can't afford more damage to my home caused by this business.
After numerous attempts and different types of communication, face-to-face contact revealed much. Dishonest service that lies about customer service and refuses to be available to provide service. Poor business model. Shoddy work, even after re-work. Avoid if possible.
The gentleman they sent to fix our garage door was on time, called for confirmation of what I needed done & other instructions. He moved our truck out & put it back when done. We'd been having issues with our garage door. My husband & I replaced the cables on both sides the week prior. Then one of our spring broke & the door came crashing down. The door was sagging, the rollers were going off track & other issues. We definitely needed help. We were considering a new door & opener. But, we also had a leak in our bath that was being fixed, so the thought of putting out more money at the time was not a happy one. My husband came home & said I had to come out & look at the garage door. It was like he put on a new door. All the issues had been fixed. Needless to say it was a tremendous relief. Now we new we could rely on our garage door much longer & not have the burden of shelling out extra money at a financially difficult time. Thanks you Dubuque Overhead Door Co. for excellent work, peace of mind & knowing we could count on our garage door another winter!!
The repairman was awesome, was on time and able to troubleshoot the issues...all while working in a very cold garage! After replacing the electronic "eyes" and wiring door working great now! Thanks for quick response in setting up appointment to accommodate my schedule.
