My wife and I quoted three garage door companies and we chose KGN. Not only it's a local business but also has been in business for over 10 years with good reviews. The work they did in deinstalling the old door, reinstalling the new one, to improving the existing rail mounting points was phenomenal. Started at 8 in the morning and the contract was completed at 11. The quality of the door was exceptional as I did not have to insulate it and it was already painted. The rollers and tension spring KGN used was miles ahead in quality ahead of my original door in which made a big difference in the noise level. Having a weathered and torn door seal, he replaced the it with quality wood framing and rubber seals, greatly increasing the temperature quality in the garage. Very satisfied with the quality of the door, professional service, and workmanship. I highly recommend KGN and will do more business with them in the future.

Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and most of all...pleasant!! I have been fortunate enough to have Kip fix my garage doors during the most trying of times, most recently our 2024 ice storm. He sure knows his business and with a calm demeanor gets the problem corrected quickly and permanently. I tell all my friends to call Kip when they encounter problems with their garage doors. He's the best!

Kip with KGN is a miracle worker! I had backed out and hit the bottom panel of the garage door as it was going up, it was stuck halfway up and off the rails. I had also damaged the panel enough that I thought it would have to be replaced for sure. I called Kip and he came out the same afternoon, and an hour later not only had it functioning normally, but had straightened the panel back out to where cosmetically the damage is barely noticeable. Before finding KGN I had called a few other local companies who were quoting me thousands of dollars to just do a full replacement, no one even mentioned coming to do a service call. Do yourself a favor and just go with Kip at KGN- he gives it to you straight and does amazing work!! Thanks Kip!

Best customer service experience in a long time. Professional and really fast. Kip took one look at my garage door opener (circa 1978) and said that for safety and just because parts don't exist anymore, I'd need a new door opener. And he had it installed within a few hours. Here is the thing - be patient and kind. The world has changed, everyone is short staffed, and people are working as hard and fast as possible. If you don't get a phone call back right away, call again. I see no need to call anyone else for garage door repair or install.

Last week we were in a bind with our garage door opener and needed it repaired asap. We call KGN and an employee came out within a half hour. He repaired our garage door and did an amazing job. He was also very king and professional. We were very grateful and appreciative of his work.

I have to add to the other great reviews. This guy was prompt, and best of all explained that I didn't need a new garage door opener if I wanted my trusty Sears repaired. The gears were shot and he showed me the residue. So instead of paying $300-400 for a new opener he replaced the gears for $180. The best thing is he also suggested ways to keep the garage door lubricated without having it serviced by a "professional." I'll definitely refer him to others.

Excellent service, I felt very comfortable with them, they acted like my garage door was their own and was very picky with their work, This late afternoon, I called them because I had pulled the cord to disconnect the door opener from the door, because the power went out. I called them and he tried so hard to tell me what to do on the phone to fix it and between my partner and I it just didn't soak in what he was trying to say. So I called him back and he stopped on his way home and did what it took to fix it, which took him probably 30 seconds or so and it was working fine. He didn't charge me for stopping. I will recommend them to everyone I know. I am very great full to him and I want to say thank you so much. We need more businesses like them that treat the customers places like their own. Very honest and trustworthy.

Outstanding service provider! I had such a terrible experience with a prior company that I put off calling for a long time. When I finally did, KGN diagnosed my garage door's problem right away and was able to fix it immediately at half the price the previous company charged (for installing the wrong springs and causing my doors not to work). I could not be more grateful for the fast, excellent, and professional service KGN provided!

Excellent service. My garage door wouldn't open. They answered the phone and were able to diagnose the issue as a broken spring. Came out and replaced the springs and even stuck around to help me reprogram my remote. Highly recommended and would use again.

The first man who came ( another service) was also the original installer. He had no clue how to fix it, nor did he do much beyond grease the lifting device. After he left, I was 100 dollars poorer with a still broken garage door. Andy came diagnosed the problem, tried a make shift fix ( to save me money) but when it didn't work, replaced the opener and guaranteed his work. The work was done professionally, throughly and quickly. I appreciate that he returned my call ( another on your list didn't) and I will certainly use him again if the need arises. Services Rendered: Andy replaced a defunct door opener and recoded our other opener to sync with it. He also cleaned the whole device which I had had done two weeks earlier before again failed. He was helpful, thorough and very professional. I highly recommend him.
