Great communication and response: I am extremely pleased with Twin City Garage Door The company gave excellent service. I came home to a double garage door that would not open. I checked it out and one of the overhead springs was broken. I called Twin City garage after hours, and their answering service took all the information and said she would relay it. The next morning I get a call to schedule the appointment. That afternoon a technician was out and replaced both springs. At that time I asked about replacing the openers. The next day I got a call with the cost quote and an appointment was made for the following work day. The technician was out early that day, installed both openers, and made sure everything worked, including the link with my vehicles.

Great job and fantastic customer service. They fixed my springs and also did preventive maintenance on my garage door. We had one of our torsion springs break in our double garage door. Being newer homeowners, we expected the worst as far as cost and repair time frame. We saw the TCGD sticker on our door from the last maintenance, so we called those folks up to see what the damage was going to end up being. For having both springs replaced, it was far more reasonable than we expected, plus they were out within a week! The whole repair process took a whopping 30 minutes from start to finish. Plus we got a neat little video from the tech at the end!

Called TCGD when the Torsion Bar on our door broke. The salesman came out next morning to give an estimate. We agreed to have the repair done. The next morning at 8:00 the tech Jamie showed up ready to go. I showed him the issue with the door and he got to work. An hour later he knocked on the door as he was done. I figured it was going to be a 3 or 4 hour job. I was amazed how fast it was. It works better now than it ever has. We even got a short video on the repair he did Thank you Jamie and TCGD you saved th day. Highly recommend.

I have used this company a few times , and have had great results every time! Every time it has been something urgent that needed to be done...broken cable, broken spring, etc. I call today & was told their schedule was booked, but I would get a call back later in the day with a tentative time for the next day. Within the hour, I received a call saying they drove by & saw my garage door was up & had a technician on his way. The technician J.J. Was super friendly & fast! I would highly recommend this company to anyone that has immediate garage door needs.

I have called 4 times and waited over 2 months for a call back from a salesman to come out and look at our building for a 12 foot door on a barn. This is the procedure he told me needed to be done.No one has called me back. Do you not want to do business with us? we have bought a door from you before and the service was great. There is no service at all this time, at least not to me. Do I need to be a man in order for you to give me the courtesy of calling me back to schedule the appointment you said you would 2 months ago? We are serious customers and thought the progress would be started by now. What is the problem?

Called to get my garage door spring fixed. I set an appointment. Called the next day to cancel my appointment. The person I talked to for some reason was being very sarcastic over the phone because I decided to cancel. That alone will be a reason why I wouldn't call them for anything again. Having good customer service goes a long way.

One of the springs in our old, tilt-out garage door had broken and getting the door open was really difficult, so I called TCGD because I had friends who spoke highly about their service. When the salesperson called, he was not at all helpful, in fact downright crabby, telling me that no one made those sorts of springs anymore, he wasn't sure what another option would be, and that he wasn't interested in pursuing the job at all because he had lots of other work. I'll give him credit for his honesty, but by contrast, when I called Overhead Garage Door, their representative was everything TCGD's wasn't. He too said it was going to be difficult but he would look into it and get back to me. He called when he said he would, told me that they had a supplier who could manufacture the springs for me, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and then installed them in very good time. I can't imagine why I would call TCGD again or recommend them to anyone. I've given 2 stars rather than the 1 because as I said, at least the TCGD guy was honest.

Technician was prompt and professional. He simply straightened the cable to the sensors and the door worked. He then stapled the cable to the frame to keep it out of the way of the door opening. He sprayed the rollers and hinges with a lubricant. The charge for this service which took under half an hour was $100.00. There were no parts to replace or repair so I think the bill was really excessive. I would think twice about calling them again. (Note: I purchased the garage door from them 3 years ago). Services Rendered: Sensors were not working and garage door wouldn't open or close.

The first visit was a couple years ago to repair my garage door that wouldn't open. Took a couple days, but the price was right and I was happy. The second visit was more recent. My door was rusting out at the bottom and I just wanted the panel replaced. They were honest and up front by letting me know I could either have the panel replaced or replace the entire door brand new for a little bit more than just repairing the one panel. I went with that and am very happy with our purchase. The door looks great and I'm glad I went with the replacement. They replace all the parts, not just the door, so you know everything is just right. Can't beat brand new!9

It went well. The Technician showed up around 9am and by 11am the work was done and the garage door definitely working better. It is much quieter and smoother. I first contacted Twin City by e-mail and received a prompt and on-point response from Chad. Soon after that I hired them to look at my garage door. They quickly pin-pointed the problem (which was different than what I had self-diagnosed, so thankfully I didn't get too carried away pursuing a self-repair) and said they would need to order a replacement part, which should take about a week. Just about a week later, Chad called to say the part was in and he could send someone over to do the repair. The repair technician was professional and friendly (he had a 3 and a four year old as an audience for a little while), and the end result was a working garage door. The bill was exactly as estimated, one hundred dollars, which included at least an hour of labor by the technician. Twin City is a very professional and well-run operation, and they know their stuff. They were very prompt, with next day service for the initial assessment and then the service. They were also very courteous and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Services Rendered: We moved into a house and the garage door wouldn't open. With no other entry point, we were stuck. Twin City Garage Door was able to force the door open and assess the state of the opener. They replaced the broken and unsafe opener as well as the strut.

I was happy with every aspect of dealing with this company. The gentleman who came to look at the bad garage door opener was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. He gave me a good estimate for what the new opener would cost. He said they are a bit more pricy than other companies but his company stands behind their product. I don't mind spending more if I know the service I receive is going to be exceptional and I think this company will provide that. The two young men who installed the opener the next morning were courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after they were finished. Plus the garage door opens silently and smoothly!! We priced a several places in town and for the money, and TCGD was definitely the best deal. Their doors were a little more expensive, but of far better quality than any of the home center stores stock. But with installation included the overall price it was actually not much higher than an estimate we had received at Lowe's (who had priced a far inferior quality door). When we called for an estimate, the technician came over within a couple hours to take a look - gave us an estimate on the spot (which was right-on with the bill!) The guy advised us about the type of door we may need/want, insulation level, windows/no-windows, etc., and we were able to choose the color and style based on his recommendations (we LOVE the door, btw!) They were able to schedule us for installation less than 2 weeks later. Took them part of a day to finish it, they cleaned up well, and called afterward to verify that everything was to our satisfaction. I was really happy with their service center as well -- a few weeks after installation, the door wouldn't shut properly (I hear this is pretty common with any installation, adjustments need to be made), so we called to have them come over to look at it. They showed up within a couple hours, and made the adjustments at no cost. Haven't had a problem since, but they did tell us to call if we did. Great service, great quality, good price, and glad to give our business to a local company instead of a national chain. Overall, very pleased with Twin City Garage Door! Services Rendered: Removal of old garage door, installation of new garage door and new opener.
