We had to place our order in advance & pay 50 percent up front. Took about 4 weeks to get the new panels. The installation was done with attention to detail. Done in less than half a day. Cleanup was done nicely. They did a haul off of the old panels. We were pleased from start to finish

I have tried to use this company for residential garage door repair in the past but they were always booked up 4-5 days out. Recently, I stopped by the shop to request an estimate to do a complete residential door system replacement. I was told that I would receive a call in 6-10 business days to schedule the estimate. That timeframe has passed and I have not heard from them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Loren Vickers Overhead Door for several years. Joe came out today to service our garage. He was thorough and professional. When calling the office Sarah has been my go to person for years. What a gem !!!

I called them to get a price to program two cars to my garage door opener. I am new to Flagstaff. They wouldn't give me a price over the phone for this simple task. This is a company that preys on people. They charge $40 to come out and quote whatever the technician thinks he can get. I'm well aware of these predatory business model and you should be too. This was a very simple, straightforward request and they WOULDN'T give me a price. Warning to all. Other companies in Flagstaff are more forthcoming and honest. Call around until you find them.

This business should have more 5 star reviews! I believe they just have lazy customers. The first time I called them was probably around mid 1990? They have been around for longer than that! This is a locally owned and operated business. I went to school with one of Loren's boys at Coconino. On 2023.08.14 Jerry and Austin did a great job replacing springs. 2023.10.04 Steve and Austin replaced the motor for me. Again great job there too. The 2 jobs was at 2 different locations. Teri the office lady is always nice and friendly to talk to and answers all my questions. Thank you again everyone!!!

I was told they would call me between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. to fix my door, and that I would be the first appointment of the day. Blocked that time off and never heard from them. At 8:33 I called their office - Sarah answered and insisted that my time to hear from them was 7:30-8:30 - that was incorrect as I had documented our previous conversation. And it was after that time frame and still no communication. She asked if I still wanted them to come out - when i asked how long it would be since I had other appointments she said 15 minutes. Well it's now been over 20 minutes and they are not here and have not called. Technician showed at 9 - He was pleasant - Sarah in their office was not. I wouldn't use them again.

The Loren Vickers crew was on time and able to squeeze me in as promised! Crew was polite and professional and made quick work of my busted spring. They also recommended to reinforce the bracket that connects the door to my lifter linkages and I had it done since our door is about 20 years old. Thanks!!

Great experience. Friendly office staff helped with scheduling. We called Monday, they got us an apt for Friday, but were able to squeeze us into an opening on Wednesday. The Tech who came out to our house was very knowledgeable. He was able to complete the repair in only an hour and it wound up costing us about $150 less than a competitor had quoted us.

The cable broke on my garage door opener, so I was unable to open the door. I called Loren Vickers and they were able to send out a tech within a few hours. He was very pleasant and efficient and got the job done quickly. And, when I called, a human answered the phone and was very helpful! What wonderful customer service!

Had a slight emergency with a tenant not able to get into the garage. They worked their schedule to be able to send someone out same day, gave me all the info upfront and did exactly what was asked, and at the price they quoted. We had been working with Loren Vickers Overhead Door on a new detached garage we are building. So when one of the springs broke in our home's garage door on a weekend, I left a voicemail on their emergency number. Mr. Vickers called me within hours, and had repair of our door scheduled for Monday. The tech who came out was very pleasant and efficient-- checking and adjusting both doors after completing the spring repair. All in all; I am very happy with Loren Vickers Overhead Door.

Loren Vickers is an awesome Flagstaff company! My garage door was broken and the first place I called (A1) was only able to schedule me a month out. When I called Loren Vickers, they were happy to work me into their schedule 3 days after I called. Kyle was the technician who was personable and kind. He was patient waiting to install the necessary parts until I contacted my home warranty company to get a pre-authorization. Kyle also was nice enough to wear a mask without me asking. I will be recommending Loren Vickers to all of my friends and look forward to working with them again when my garage inevitably breaks again in the future!

Our cabin is roughly 25 miles outside of Flagstaff. The springs failed, so the door was unusable. I called Vickers on Monday morning and they said probably Wednesday at the latest, and they would try to get out sooner. They called later Monday afternoon and asked if Tuesday morning would be okay. Tuesday, their serviceman was there promptly at 9 am ( as promised). Went right to work and an hour later, our very old door was fixed...new springs, serviced, with lubricant, tightening of all the door screws (wooden door), and done! The serviceman, Kyle, was polite, a good listener, very proficient, answered my many questions, and happy! A really good experience. Vickers is our garage service going forward!

I've used Loren Vickers for garage door issues for 20+ years. My door wouldn't open yesterday, a broken spring. Terri knew exactly the issue when I called and it is now fixed... less than 34 hours later. Kyle, the tech, called first and was here exactly when he said he would. These guys know their business! I recently called Loren Vickers Overhead Door to come out and replace the bottom weather seal on my garage door that was allowing water to enter garage. I agreed to the $115 per hour fee and was willing to pay for the cost of the new weather stripping estimated at about $70. They were very prompt in their response to come out right away. When the garage technicians arrived he looked at the weather stripping and said it was fine and I did not need to replace it. He opened and closed the door and lubricated the wheels and drive shaft. Then charged me the $115 to basically talk me out of installing the new weather seal. Water still comes in the door when it rains. I understand the one-hour minimum charge to come visit, but since they talked me out of the repair, I felt this was a rip off. Since water is still leaking into the garage, I dont feel they really did anything to help with the issue.

Installer showed up on time, removed old unit, then installed new unit and adjusted all. Was very helpful and professional. Services Rendered: Old opener failed after 30+ years of service, so asked Vickers to replace & install new opener. They installed, at my request, a top of the line opener, adjusted everything and carted away the scrap.

I found this place with Angie's List and got through on the first call. The lady who answered took notes and said she would talk to scheduling and call me back. She called back within the hour and I had an appointment for the next day for repair work. They replaced the broken spring (not easy to do) and the broken guide wire on one side. It took about 2 hours and they asked for payment at the time of completion. I was happy to pay for such quick and professional service. The parts were 120 and labor was 80. They accepted credit card or check. Will certainly call them again if needed in the future. Well done. Services Rendered: Replaced garage door spring and guidewire

They are licensed, and they've been in business since 1976. We're happy with our garage doors, they're still functioning perfectly. They are good quality. Services Rendered: They put in my garage doors and upgraded the motors so that they wouldn't be so noisy as my bedroom was above it.
