Yelp5This morning before sunrise we had trouble with our garage door not closing. I called KSK and spoke to Ken at 7:45 AM. He said he'd be out between 10 and 12. Well he actually had the door fixed and working perfectly before 10. My hats off to Ken and KSK, AGAIN. I highly recommend them.

Yelp5I wanted to do a high-lift conversion on 2 garage doors, so got 3 estimates based on soliciting contractor recommendations from neighborhood social media sites. During the decision-making process I felt that KSK was very prompt in their response, professional in explaining the details of the install and scope of work involved, and I trusted their advice and recommendations. On top of that, their quote was 41% and 32% less than the other 2 quotes. The install went very well overall, but one of the new springs was undersized given the weight of the door, so had to be reordered, which extended the time we didn't have a working garage door opener. Not a big deal for us as it was only a few extra days. Regardless, KSK fully explained the situation and handled it well. Things happen, and it's how it's addressed and handled by the contractor that makes all the difference. Even after the install, one of the doors needed a minor adjustment to remove a small gap along the top edge of the door seam, and KSK came out and took care of it no problem. Highly recommend KSK for their outstanding workmanship, good communication, and cost of product/services.

Angi5After Suburban Door in Livonia said they didn’t want our business, I called KSK. Ken was nice and said they could be out in an hour (I called first thing in the morning). They replaced both my garage door springs in less than 30 minutes. He was very polite and professional. I would highly recommend KSK. Services Rendered: Garage door spring snapped.

Yelp5First off, this is only my second review - I am not the online-type, but I was so impressed I had to comment. So I tried to fix my garage door and made it worse, and then made it worse again (I'm no Bob Vila). Before I completely destroyed the door, I went thru yelp and got quotes. Ken replied first (within minutes) and I was hoping he would reply based on the other comments found here. I called him at 7:30 on a Wednesday night and he came out for 7 the next night. His cost to fix was far more reasonable than all other estimates given via email. He finished within the hour - I will be calling him again when I attempt to fix/break my other garage door.

He took the time to make sure everything was working properly and even did another job that we needed fixing without hesitation. We were so happy, that we are referring him to our friends. Angi5We called ksk on Friday to install a garage door opener and they were able to install it the next day for us. They were considerably cheaper then other companies and well worth it.
