Google5Originally recommended by a contractor friend of mine, I heartily agree with his assessment! They checked my 27yo garage door opener, and showed me what they found. I agreed with their recommendation of a new opener/operator with better features than the old, and the price was very reasonable! Removal of the old setup, and installation of the new went very well, except for the small glitch of weatherstripping (there are many shades of beige!), but, they returned with the best match. I love the new outside security keypad, and the quietness of operation compared to the old. Kudos to Jim, James, and Jason for each of their efforts on this project - completed in the midst of our coldest temperatures!

Google5Our 20+ year old Genie garage door opener had a failure. I contacted the team at Overhead Door & Fireplace and James was sent out the next morning. He was absolutely professional, knowledgeable and gave a clear explanation of the challenge of fixing an old opener vs replacing with a new Lift Master system. We opted to put our money towards a new unit and it was installed within 90 minutes and is a huge improvement. The new system is far quieter, has awesome features including remote open/close via an app. I would highly recommend the team and products at Overhead Door! Thank you for the excellent service and response!

Google5After our garage door spring broke on new years day, we called overhead door but they were closed for the holiday. I left a message and they promptly called back the next day with an appointment time for the same day. The tech was knowledgeable and efficient. Came in and got the job done in about an hour. No hassle, no fuss and no long period of waiting. Highly recommend!

Google5Great customer service. I had a spring break that was under warrantee. Warranty parts wouldn't arrive for 14 days. ODN was able to use in stock parts and receive warrantee parts when they arrived. This allowed us to use our garage 11 days sooner than having to wait. Much appreciated, and the service person was on time and friendly.

Google5The service tech James was fantastic! I installed a door opener that had issues during programming. He explained what went wrong in great detail and was able to fix very fast. I will continue to use overhead doors for all my garage door issues.

Google5What a wonderful experience! The installation was prompt and professional, and aesthetically speaking, what a difference our new garage doors make. We've also received numerous compliments from our neighbors who all love the "new look." And what a difference on the inside: the windows let in so much light during the day, and the motion sensor lights brighten the garage making it safer to walk. Highly recommend!

Yelp5I contacted several companies to ask for a quote for the replacement of a 9 x 7 door that my daughter backed in to. (oops!) Overhead was the least expensive for a replacement and installation by as much as half, literally. From 1500$ to 750$. I usually have called the hospital for any service I needed but they even came in pretty high. Of course all for the same 2 inch insulated door. All calls and appointment were fulfilled on time and as scheduled. I will call them first now when I need work done in the future.

Yelp5We needed a new garage door because ours finally died. After checking many places we decided on Overhead door and fireplace in Waterford Michigan. Because of Covid things were backed up, but they very happily offered to fix our door temporarily by giving us springs so we were not without a garage door during our six week wait, they did this immediately after we paid our deposit. When the two guys came they did a fantastic job the door is very well fitting we we are very happy with the quality of the door and the workmanship of the guys that came. Yelp5Very pleased with showroom and conversation with Kevin. Kevin met me at home and measured. Very pleased. Installer was excellent and did fix my screw ups. Yelp5I've used this company twice and they have always serviced the day I call. They must realize that people are in a panic if they cannot get their garage doors to open; so they come out that day. Office people are friendly and so are the Tech's.

Yelp1Warning Warning Warning! Do not use this company for any garage services. I am not one to write reviews but I really had to for them. They will rip you off and lie to you over and over. The service man was nice but his managers are horrible. Do your business elsewhere as the managers will talk as if you are nothing. STAY AWAY!
