After an IMMENSELY regretful hire of a different Garage door company ("Precision Door of South East Michigan") for a broken spring earlier in the year, I vowed to thoroughly search and read reviews of our next long term use Garage Door Co. Before I could do that research in my free time, an accident occurred in which the door closed on top of our SUV because the sensors were too low and didn't detect a vehicle in the path. The garage door opener took a long time to detect the resistance and caused the top support beam and panel to bow. I was 75% sure we needed some major surgery or perhaps a new door. So, this lead to the research of a reputable company and after reading dozens of reviews, I was sold on Premier Garage Door. Technician (Jeff Burgess) arrived, looked at the door and was quite sure he could fix it with a new 16" Strut beam and a little elbow grease. He ran back to the shop and came back in 30 mins with the new Strut. He was able to kind of "hammer/pound" the garage door paneling back to original form and after installing the strut, the door was back to 99% it's pre-accident form. This was MORE than acceptable! While here, he also voluntarily greased the hinges, adjusted the rubber seal at the bottom of the door that had slid over, and adjusted the resistance sensitivity of the garage door opener. It was set (by previous homeowner) to the largest resistance setting, which is why when the door made contact with the SUV, it started to buckle the top panel instead of retreating back to the open position. The charge for this work was MORE than reasonable and I regret not having cash on hand to tip him! If you need Garage Door work done in the SE Michigan area, Premier Garage Door is the way to go! I'm sure all of their technicians are good, but I will certainly request Jeff if/when we need anything else done. :-)
Jeff of Premier Garage Door is a superstar. His service is timely, and repairs perfect. Oh yes, his prices are very reasonable. What's not to like? A couple of years ago, Jeff did repairs on my garage door and opener and I was so impressed with his technical expertise and overall professionalism. He took the time to explain what EXACTLY was required and included several options - with pricing. No "sales pitch," just good detailed info on the different ways/choices the issue could be fixed. Recently, because of water damage from a condo above my garage, I needed additional repairs. Once again, I really appreciated his timeliness and thorough, professional work. As before, he explained what needed to be done - no oversell or steering me towards the most expensive solution. What a relief to work with someone that knows his stuff (many sales people have never done the technical work they are selling) and his appearance and demeanor continue to impress. My suggestion: No need to look any further with any garage door issues. He's earned my strongest recommendation.
Jeff and Premier is the best in the business. He's serviced my doors for years, just bought 2 new garage doors and I can't say enough about his products and mostly, "his service" Gold standard in the garage door business!
A spring broke on our garage door last Thursday. I called Premier Garage Doors, as we've used their services before, and Jeff called me right back. He wasn't sure he had the right spring in his truck, but offered to come by, take a look and at least get my car out (it was stuck inside!). That, alone, was great service! In the end, he had the springs needed (we had to replace both sides) and he was able to change them out on the spot. Jeff is professional and a nice guy. We'll use them again and recommend them to friends.
Premier garage door was very Knowledgeable,professional and honest. They provided great customer service, came out next day and installed a beautiful new garage door. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends or family!
Been using Jeff from premier garage for a few years. He is professional, very knowledgeable and arrives fast with short notice. I have never had a problem with any of the work he has done. He just recently came out to replace my garage door spring, fixed the motor light outlet, and installed a keypad. His prices I feel are fair for the level of service he provides. This is my go to guy and I highly recommend his services!
